tumblr user @defendwincest (which is apparently so unimportant I cant even tag her properly) just compared incest sex to GAY sex.
Essentially she claims incest is legal and beautiful and that half of the world is repulsed by gay sex.
She’s talking as if the gay rights movement is as (or less) important as her disgusting incestuous , abusive, ship (wincest or some shit).
These are the type of people defending wincest. Are you sure you want to be one of them?
something moderates and libs need to learn is right to free speech =/= right to hate speech; rights and freedoms are granted as part of a social contract. society provides these rights and freedoms to you, and you in turn provide for society. rights and freedoms are to ensure your wellbeing. they are provided in altruism. they are NOT tools for you to hurt people. rights and freedoms are LIMITED. rights and freedoms give you power, and with power (as you love to quote) comes responsibilities. when you are granted rights and freedoms it is expected that you will use them responsibly. just like ‘right to shelter’ does not equate to ‘right to a mansion,’ ‘right to free speech’ does not equate to ‘right to hate speech.’ by giving nazis a platform you are not protecting freedom and/or free speech. you are just giving nazis a platform.

I'm so confused how firstly overturning roe v wade and then wanting to ban contraception is justified? In their minds?? Like if you don't want abortion...then wouldn't you want contraception...so that less people would get pregnant... and therefore less people would need abortions?? How do these guys justify that lmao
For people who live in the U.S., November can bring to mind a lot of things, and one of them is Thanksgiving. This can be a complicated holiday because while most people just see it as an excuse to get together with friends and family and pig out, we all know that the story of the "First Thanksgiving" is bullshit.
This November, and for as long as it takes, I'm asking you to keep Native American and Alaska Native rights in mind and to fight for them. ICWA, the Indian Child Welfare Act, is at risk.
This act was created to stop cultural genocide. Until the late 1900s, Native American and Alaska Native children were routinely kidnapped and placed in residential schools and white families, where they faced abuse, forced assimilation, and sometimes murder. ICWA was passed in 1978 to stop this by allowing tribes to control the foster and adoption placement of Native American and Alaska Native children.
However, today, the SCOTUS started hearing arguments in a case that could overturn ICWA. This would not only endanger children and allow cultural genocide, but it would endanger tribal sovereignty since it would deny sovereign tribes the rights over the placement of their own children.
This November, this Thanksgiving, and until ICWA has been upheld, I ask you to stand up for the rights of Native Americans and Alaska Natives.
Spread the word about what is happening. Don't let this get swept under the rug. Post about it. Tell your friends and family.
Sign petitions.
Write to representatives.
Reach out to local tribes to see what you can do to help.
Protest.
And if you can afford to do so, donate to Native American and Alaska Native organizations.
Let freedom ring! New sentence for journalist and justice is preserved.

I have noticed in all my writings in the past, and now that I have only been writing female characters, and I’ve realized that their is o much more then male x female. Don’t get me wrong or misunderstood- I’ll still write that, but I am going to branch out more, because I don’t really see how it’s fair to just write female x male when they’re some boys that like these characters. And I did a Gender Neutral one just for fun and posted it on accident.
I’m not kidding. I really did. I expected no one to read it because to me, I thought it sucked. But I guess you all loved it! And I appreciate it! All of my followers and commenters are my faves even tho I don’t know you. Please give me suggestions and I’ll tag you along!
But I came in here to say, I will branch out- I’m not going to just do the standard. ✌️

I would love to be an understanding fence-sitter. I'm always the asshole trying to see the other side, trying to understand everyone's motivations. I still believe that's important.

In case you don't find it very exciting I should probably mention that gay marriage is rather far from being excepted and legalized in my country, and it was so pure that no one said a thing (though I did see people noticed)
Today there was this pretty tough cop guy at school and he was lecturing us about electric bicycle, and he was like doing the whole frightening thing they do on teens.
He casually mentioned he bought one for his husband and once he found out how dangerous it is he asked him to stop using it.
And let me tell you, it took EVERYTHING I had in me to keep a straight face and not smile at this extremely casual mention of a gay couple.
(I’m pretty sure my friend looked at me too but I was determined to treat it like the most normal thing in the world, like I and everyone should)

Your personal data that is being collected can and has already been mined and sold to marketing firms and law enforcement. You don’t need to be Margaret Atwood to imagine who your private information might be sold to, or what period-tracking data might be used for in a Republican state, or in a conservative court of law.

I don't normally engage in politics, but listen up people, if you get kicked out and have to sleep on the street, then it will be LEGAL for you to be SHOT (fatally wounded) (most likely you will die). And this could happen to you, Greg down the street, even your buddy John.
We as the American people must protest this law because if it passes, then it will open the floodgates for other states to pass more and more nefarious rules that will endanger the people those in office have sworn to protect.
