Man...your own government found them guilty of committing itđ

We shouldn't only get involved in fights that directly affect us -we should fight for everything we believe in. I know it can sometimes be a lot. Not all communities even want help from 'outsiders'. But we have to stick together. 'Cause for everything that's different about us, there's something in common for everyone.
How can we expect ALL people to make changes for our closest causes, if we're not ready to step up out of our lane even a little bit for theirs? So today I speak for everything I see is wrong in this world. And you should too.
Bruce, sitting at the dining room table, surprised and happy all his kids are there for dinner, bursting with love: Hn.
His kids: :)
Bruce goes to take a bite of his chicken. When he cuts into it, a great burst of Cheeto dust blows out into his face.
Bruce:
His kids: :)
Bruce: Okay. I see that it's time for retaliation.

Bruce, sitting down to dinner a week later: Good evening, family.
His kids: >:-(
Bruce, cutting into his nicely cooked chicken: :)
Frustrates me to no end seeing people say âwhatâs your alternative to voting blue? Stage a revolution right now? This second? Get real, youâre posting on your computer instead of firebombing walmarts.â I donât think that you understand what people are actually doing. I know for myself, Iâve been reading more history and theory than I ever have before. Iâve been marching. Iâve been getting involved with labor activism. Iâve been doing strategic research. Iâve tried to archive and share resources. Iâve watched other people do WAY more than I ever have or probably could. Iâve seen people occupy arms manufacturing sites and hold wildcat strikes and disrupt daily life as much as possible. Weâve all seen this happening at unprecedented levels for months now. And most of all, Iâve seen Palestinians telling us, rightfully full of anger, do not ever go back to how things were before. Do not turn away from whatâs happening and your own complicity in it.
This is not something that we can vote our way out of. Our state is built on the same violence being inflicted on the people of Palestine. We helped to build Israel. We are still arming it and funding the âwarâ right now. Even the most half hearted measures from international bodies like the UN to take the bare minimum of a stance against genocide are quashed by the US. As they always have been, our power and resources are used to reinforce imperial and colonial hegemony. That remains the same no matter who is sitting in the Oval Office. And so does our own struggle for liberation. Meaningful change is never, ever going to come from within. We force the change to happen, as we always have.
If you can understand intersectionality, then surely you can understand this: we are not going to free ourselves by sacrificing colonized people. You may vote blue, and for you it could be a matter of life and death. Believe me, as a poor disabled person in a red state who almost killed myself over medical debt, I know the stakes. But I think you have to own the fact that you are empowering perpetrators of genocide and breaking solidarity with colonized people, not even to liberate yourself, but just to bargain with the oppressor for your life. That Palestinians and everyone else who we have harmed are going to be angry and they are more than within their rights. Instead of deflecting by just assuming that no one else is capable of putting their money where their mouth is and actually trying to lay groundwork for change, just do whatever you feel you have to do and sit with the reality of the situation.
Palestine will be free, we will be free, the whole world will someday be free. But for now, this is where we are, and we wonât free ourselves by operating like crabs in a bucket. Get organized, take care of each other, commit to solidarity. Empower yourself and each other rather than the state.
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/11/17/does-israel-have-the-right-to-self-defence-in-gaza
That link is to an Aljazeera article examining Isreal's right to self-defense. The tldr: many experts say no because Isreal controlled the area for years either via direct means, aka occupation, or through the Israeli governments well known "mowing the grass operations."
Further, the post you were responding to was about Israeli action against Gaza and its people. This may include Hamas, a terrorist organization that killed many innocent people on 10/7. I have no sympathy for those people. However, Gaza also holds well over a million innocents. It holds many children. It holds architecture that is important to Christians and Muslims. It holds communities of people with no reasonable way out of a conflict they did not start.
Holding true to the morals set forth in the previous paragraph, I cannot stand the IDF. It is the most powerful military force in the area, and it chooses to use it via snipers killing grandmothers. (https://m.economictimes.com/news/international/us/what-is-israels-military-strength-heres-everything-you-need-to-know/amp_articleshow/104615713.cms)
In the art of child murder the idf too takes the lead. (https://www.hrw.org/news/2023/08/28/west-bank-spike-israeli-killings-palestinian-children) that link is to a human rights watch article explaining the idf's lack of penalty for the deaths of those in Palestine's West Bank. This says nothing of the other children murdered in Gaza. Though it is a war zone, the idf has taken no extra precautions to ensure the safety of civilians. In fact, the idf has done the opposite. The idf calls for evacuation to one location and then bombs it. The following politico article talks about this in some more detail. (https://www.politico.eu/article/israel-bombs-refugee-camps-central-gaza-report/)
Furthermore, the IDF is also using its expanded resources to kill catholics in Gaza, I guess they aren't Jewish enough to be people.
I ask of you sir, what warning was given to these women? What of the children? What of the peaceful Christians? Let's not forget that not every man is a terrorist either, and thus, many of them are innocently killed to satisfy idf blood lust. The following is a quote from CBS News, "More than 20,900 Palestinians â two-thirds of them women and children â have been killed." (https://www.cbsnews.com/news/israel-hamas-war-gaza-refugee-camps-bombed-central-gaza-netanyahu-repeats-hard-line/).
Continuing, the assertion that the state of Israel is willing to subject itself to humanitarian cease fires is laughable. It was a prisoner exchange with trucks moving (https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/11/22/israel-agrees-to-ceasefire-deal-paving-way-for-some-captives-release) as far as prevention of civilian casualties are concerned the idf couldn't care less. (https://www.hrw.org/news/2023/10/16/why-israels-gaza-evacuation-order-so-alarming)
Isreal has no real need to be in Gaza to stop Hamas attacks again. Isreal is intentionally killing non combatants, women, children, and fathers. Isreal is engaged in prisoner exchanges, not hostage nor peace negotiations. Isreal has found no proof that Hamas was using the hospitals, schools, and mosques as fortresses nor weapons platforms. The idf argues with its high court for permission to use human shields. It is cowardly and shameful. Hamas and the IDF have much to answer for, to hide, and to regret.
Next time you see a video of a child dying remember this, the war could have been stopped but US vetoed this.
For those of you that don't know there is currently a peaceful protest in Quebec by the Algonquin tribe to stop the over-hunting of moose in the Barrier Lake area. The moose population is in dangerous low province wide. It only takes at most five moose to feed the native community opposed to the 80-90 that hunters kill during hunting season with a whopping 26,000 being culled throughout the province of Quebec. Not only that but racist have been shown to be throwing slurs, vulgar language and even severed moose legs at native protesters. Even worse a innocent protester was ran over by a woman in her pick up truck who also drove away from the scene. This is all being done on ancestral land and needs be addressed.

We should be more pro-active or weâll see more of such sad fates of honest people.
Sorry, I do understand english, but itâs easier for me to write in french.
When you go to a haunted house, it may seem like youâre being funny by trying to scare the actors or jump out at them when you go through a second time, but guess what? ITS NOT FUNNY.
You pay us to scare you. It is your choice to go, so donât fucking go through if youâre going to ignore the rules and get too close to the actors as a âjokeâ.
These bruises happened because over the course of 4 hours, several people ignored the instructions that CLEARLY stated that they were to wait in the front room until told otherwise. Rather than listen, they ran into the next room and slammed into me- effectively throwing me into the wall. This didnât only happen once. It happened ten times at LEAST.
Then we had this asshole who thought that once I âdiedâ for the haunt, he could pretend to kick me to see if Iâd moved. I, being used to people abusing me- jumped back and slammed my head into the concrete wall.
YOU ARE NOT FUNNY BY BEING RUDE AT A HAUNTED HOUSE. WE ARE PAID ACTORS THAT YOU CHOOSE TO COME AND SEE PERFORM. YOU PAY US TO SCARE THE SHIT OUT OF YOU, SO DONT HIT US WHEN WE DO
I feel that this is relevant considering it is October and more Haunted Houses are opening up. I know it seems funny to scare the âmonstersâ but all you do is hurt real people. So stop.
Really, what an improvement of society ! Every time a girl has to go away because of periods and lack of protection would be much easier with that kind of idea everywhere. Same for the other things, itâs relly kind to think about those problems.
So Iâm at a library in a town I donât live in to spend time with my nieces and I go to the bathroom and see this sign.
They turned their old card catalog into free supplies people can discretely take on their own.
This is the coolest thing ever, a great way to help people without making them ask, and an amazing reuse of a card catalog. Iâm seriously about to cry I love it so much.
Feeling Lost
I try to do the best I can to try and find people that have the right mindset over people and equality and justice for others but when I think I find them, they end up disappointing me. I used to be more hesitant about things but hope to be getting better. I wonder if I might be wrong. Usually I see groups fight for a cause but thereâs a bias or preference that compromises them that frustrates me. People need to realize that despite the struggles, no matter how small or big it might be, should matter. For those that have harmful ideas or mindsets should be educated respectfully but firmly. I just donât know who the good side is anymore.
June 5th - a photo a day challenge We're so small compared to skyscrapers, so let's do big things; continue to fight for what you believe it's right and fair, and you'll be rewarded!

Cable St Mural (detail) - Dave Binnington Savage, Paul Butler, Ray Walker and Desmond Rochfort
The Battle of Cable Street took place on Sunday 4 October 1936 in Cable Street, as a result of a march by the British Union of Fascists led by Oswald Mosley. Anti-fascist protesters, including local Jewish, socialist, anarchist, Irish and communist groups, clashed with the Metropolitan Police, who attempted to remove the barricades erected to stop the march.
