Pigeon Pit - Tumblr Posts
how embarrassing is it that ive been listening to (and occasionally adding to) the same "mid-west emo" spotify playlist since i was 11 like wdym it never changes and i retreat back to the safety of McCafferty and the front bottoms and Bo Burham every mfing year
You don't even wanna KNOW how difficult it was for me to complete this challenge with my massive discography of relatable songs, but I finally did it! Each song I feel represents me in a different way or holds a specific memory for me. Enjoy!

TAG GAME
You are allowed one album's worth of preexisting songs (5-17) compiled from artists of any genre... with the goal of explaining your troubles, your history, your joy and your internal struggle to the world.
I'd like to hear your life's album, if I may.
(I'll reblog with my own answer later on, after I've had more time to consider it 🙃)
Anyone I didn't tag also feel free to join in!

The butterflies that live inside my stomach gotta die.
Crumpled up on the floor of the shower
Hope the neighbors aren't home
×××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××××
Like the photographs hung up
Of tangled up bodies
On my old kitchen floor
The faces come flooding in
Soak up the reasons why
We're not that close anymore

AND I JUST
BLACK OUT
IT'S WHAT I DO
TO SURVIVE
LIFE'S GOT TWO
YELLOW LINES
AND I FELL ASLEEP
DRIVING
Your heart screams the words
Your mouth finds their shape
"I'm not gonna die here"
The glass cuts your feet
As you walk away
The picture gets clearer
It's a house up in flames
And you built your own cage
Just so no one could hurt you
If there's nothing to lose
There's nothing to gain
That's just something you learn through.
