since lucifer is canonically associated with light, ice and well, being the morning star, i kinda like the idea of michael being associated with black holes (gravity so powerful that it can trap even light…) and darkness (inasmuch as fire is also another aspect of him as per season 5) as the opposite to his brother. the concept of the archangels being linked to aspects of creation is also such a fun thought: the universe was dark for millions of years before the first stars formed, and michael is the oldest archangel.

Something about the fact that the Winchesters never really acknowledge the fact that this might be hard for Castiel. Not even in the physical all angels are continuously brainwashed to never question authority level but just on the level that the angels were his family. And hey it might have just been a little bit hard to have my whole world view upended and now I’ve killed my family in droves all for you but you don’t even care that it might have been just the tiniest bit hard for me. Just as long as you don’t gave to kill your little brother right?
What’s even worse is that the narrative bends over backwards to justify it. Like why should the Winchesters care that these are essentially Cas’ siblings when they are objectively evil? The angels used to be complicated with frustrating and contradictory motivations now if you’re not Cas or Lucifer or haven’t magically completely escaped centuries of brainwashing and devotion and family then fuck you I guess and even when you do fuck you still cause your name isn’t Sam or Dean Winchester
Even fucking Michael, objectively the most brainwashed of all, like I know Michael’s not squeaky clean but come on the Winchesters and Cas have done so much worse to earth and heaven, than Michael ever managed too. They literally have no higher ground. But yet their whoooooole plan revolves around Michael going back to his father and it’s this big gotcha moment and not two traumatized adults exploiting the very real traumatic devotion maintained by years of abuse in a moment where Michael literally had the only other source of stability he had for years snatched away from him and it was looking like his only options where to spend eternity in the company of those two clowns. You do this after he literally already helped you and just fought his brother for you? you don’t even try to come up with another plan? Honestly, It just feels malicious. As if Dean can’t understand running back to your father when every other sense of stability has been taken away from you.
Supernatural has shown over and over again that family is only important to Dean and Sam when it’s their family. Because fuck anyone else that tries to pull the same bullshit for their family you’re objectively wrong and Winchesters have the moral high ground and the right to stop/kill you. they are only ever called on this twice in 15 seasons. But come on not even fucking Cas? Cas?
Do you think there’s a song that only Michael knows? Like a song so old that even with his perfect memory he can’t remember the entire melody or where exactly he heard it, but he hums it to himself all the time at his most loneliest. And it should bother him this hole in his memory but it doesn’t matter cause Michael’s so hurt and the song brings so much comfort.
Like Michael is the first thing God made that stuck, that wasn’t swallowed whole by his ever loving sister. And there was a moment, just a second, where it was just the two of them. When Michael wasn’t a brother and God was just a father, maybe God would hold him close and hum an unfinished song of creation to soothe him. The only sources of light in overwhelming darkness.

Neither God or Michael remember this; Michael’s got siblings that need taking care of and It’s been a long time since God was a father.

And just maybe, on the other side of the plane, when Chuck’s writing a new chapter of his latest novel, deep in thought contemplating the relationships of fathers and sons; he starts humming a half remembered song in response and wonders where he heard it.
Do I even need to explain all the ways in which this is Michael or can you see it? Does it rip you apart or are you normal?
Like this is him after the cage. He’s the last archangel all his siblings are dead. God abandoned him for a millennia, and is still missing. Heaven is dying, he needs to go back.

You get the themes the poem is right there. Michael was the first being ever made by an imperfect god. He in himself is practically a big bang how do you begin to explain that to someone? Let alone the one other person you’re stuck in a lifetime of isolation with?

It’s the way this could be about any pairing of the archangels.
But the one that’s really speaking to me is Gabriel and Raphael I’ve always imagined them as twins two different halves of the same whole. Their not each others favorites but at the end of that’s their twin the only one I have.
I can imagine Raphael saying this after Gabriel left. Like she thinks he’s a traitor and a coward but that’s still her brother her twin the only one she has.

For the past year or so I have upped my game by channeling ascended masters. Some of which I consider as angels as the minor deities of now dead religions we deem as mythologies. Today I'm presenting 2 statements from the Arch Angel Michael on Environmental Pestilence. Since our beloved protector of Creation in Paradise as the Archangel Michael also safeguards mother nature herself in perpetuity. The last statement is on Joy itself to leave the prophecy I channeled from Archangel Michael on a better cheery note. May you be intrigued regardless of the claims I'll be making by the inspired channeled automatic writing of the Angelic Host. Environmental Pestilence: 2629) In gentlest whisper I roar mighty as the ink drys nearly instantly across the ages. With holy angelic scribes such as your devotion sings true credited with much as you share the Glory of God with us equally. Albeit the scale of your feats on Earth and Beyond will be minor in history. They are no less pivotal to what will befall humanity shortly. A lack of respect for the innocent and the vulnerable with much anger will cause worse things than war but that concludes as pestilence none the less. A pestilence that surpasses humanities technological focus at first to cope even poorly. Not until the later 2nd generation or 50 plus years into this impending dystopian environmental pestilence. Shall humanity finally get a grip on the global scale of such planetary environmental cancers they have unleashed through folly and lust for total Industrial Supremacy. For humanity lacks the self-awareness to listen adequately to steer away from the global troubles about to cascade on all species upon the foolish children of Gaia. After strategists and tacticians of the old ways become obsolete due to outmoded notions of what constitutes power and leadership. Will the global village of nations on Earth acknowledge their puny efforts as fruitless until new visionary directions lead the way forward. Much will be said that such global pestilence environmentally will trigger short-lived petty wars with unchecked disease outbreaks and famine. This is not the Biblical Apocolypse foretold long ago. PEARL AND MICHAEL
Just finished rewatching Steven Universe again and some characters remind me of the ones in Lil Lucifer AU.
Michael kind of reminds me of Pearl, mostly because of their attitude towards humanity (at least with the Pearl from the start of the show).
They don't really understand the social aspect of mortals and do not understand or have complications understanding some of their things.
Still, they fight for them, because of a powerful being who they serve (the are technically their servants, Michael and his Papa and Pearl with Rose).
Now, talking about personality, both of them have an obsession with this higher being and try to hide it with "it's love" card (platonic for Mike, romantic for Pearl), and most of their actions it's not because of what they think it's right, but because it's what this beings think it is.
Apart from this, I see them both really elegant, perfectionists and serious-like warriors (Pearl isn't really that serious all the time, but in terms of fighting she is), and are damn great fans of ballet.
Oh! And they have the same pointy nose, in fact, that was what I first thought when I started reading Lil Lucifer AU.
Please, give Michael Pearl's character development. He might fall down to Hell because of that, but that white boy needs some ~🎶I wanna be disobedient🎶~ going through his ears instead of ~🎶Pressure like a tick tick tick🎶~
