ONE MORE THING!!

To those who think that Seungri and JJY and the rest of their scummy crew are innocent or that they just made a “Mis-freaking-take”, then unfollow me because I—

—Excuse my language—

—FUCKING believe that they’re HORRIBLE, NO GOOD PIECES OF TRASH THAT DESERVES ALL THE HATE AND IF THEY’RE GIVEN VERY VEEERRRYY HARSH PUNISHMENTS, THEN YA’LL BETTER BELIEVE THAT I’LL BE CELEBRATING!

Defend them and I’m blocking you. No warning. No uno dos tres—boom. You’re blocked.

I’m not gonna bother and waste my precious time arguing with idiots who would defend and make excuses for MONSTERS.

(tw: Nsfw, Non- Consensual) Seungri Is Guilty Of Viewing A Noncon Video In A Group Chat + Not Reporting

(tw: nsfw, non- consensual)  Seungri is guilty of viewing a noncon video in a group chat + not reporting it to help the victim. Fans tried to show his innocence with this image/transl but incriminated him by showing he viewed the video yet did nothing to help the victim.

I’ve seen some support for Seungri lately based off a thread going around claiming he is innocent. That very thread implicates him in the chat where the non-consensual video was shared (meaning the victim didn’t know they were being filmed; hence the name Molka Scandal).

The source is by a VIP and a translation from KBS News who uncovered it - showing that Seungri (and everyone in that chat) received a non-consensual video and didn’t report it. It was only later that reporters and the court made it known to the public. I’m making this post to address some excuses I’ve heard from fans who continue their support despite Seungri (and everyone in that chat) being complicit.

Excuse #1: “He cannot control what others do.” - No, but he can control what HE does & he didn’t report this to the police. The video was filmed without that person’s consent. Don’t excuse it. Being a fan should have its limits. He made himself an accomplice by not attempting to help the victim or verifying if it was consensual, didn’t so much as even question it. Seungri freely ingested the material that was against that person’s consent.

Excuse #2: How would he know it’s not consensual? - How do you imagine the reporters/police/court realized it was non-consensual? In much the same way Seungri could have but didn’t say anything. The court obtained access to the chat history, the same chat history Seungri had (considering he was in that chat).  So the reality is that he either knew and didn’t say anything or willingly accepted pornographic videos without knowing whether or not the person gave their consent (which they didn’t). He could have also asked or made a statement to only have consensual videos shared since this JJY person was a serial offender. But he didn’t. He did absolutely nothing in favor of any of these victims. He willfully consumed it without asking any questions knowing full well how spy cams are a huge problem in South Korea. Why do you think so many men partake? Because they can and because there are hardly any consequences.

Excuse #3: He didn’t know. Only the court found out!    - Seungri had the very same evidence because he was part of the chat where this non-consensual video was shared. He had everything the court later obtained yet he stayed silent. Hence, he either knew and did nothing or accepted the video into the chat without so much as even asking if it was consensual, if they were of age, etc - meaning he was complicit.

Excuse #4: He didn’t know it wasn’t consensual!!!  - And that’s why he should have asked. It’s a sex video or image or audio. Or is accepting this type of material okay as long as he made no actions to so much as even check? It’s the reality of what happened and his actions, or lack thereof.  He could have asked in the chat if it was consensual or even said “Let’s make sure everything is consensual and everyone is an adult”. But he did absolutely nothing. NOTHING.

Excuse #5: The sex was consensual. The filming was not.  - Meaning he still knowingly viewed illegal, non-consensual content without reporting it. He willingly viewed a video that showed a person in a compromised sexual scenario who NEVER consented. And did not report it. That doesn’t make it okay. That makes him an accessory.

Excuse #6: GDragon/Jiyong still supports him and that’s all I need! - You have a lot of faith in someone you don’t know and have never met.

Excuse #7: You’re defaming him because he’s famous! You’re an anti! - The only part being famous plays a role in any of this is allowing someone to get off for less when it should be more. It’s not defaming. It literally came from one of the big VIP accounts who are his fans who translated it from KBS News.

Excuse #8: He wasn’t charged for this specifically. He’s innocent! - Regardless of whether or not he was charged for it, the fact remains. The chat history is enough proof and it was encrypted so it wasn’t tampered with, meaning he was there and saw the video. Also, the US president wasn’t charged for all the proof we have on him. That doesn’t mean he’s innocent.     Excuse #9: It was 3rd party reporting so it’s fake news. - 3rd party reporting… You mean the encrypted chat messaging that outed him for being in that chat? Or maybe you mean the court documents that have all the names of the participants and the audio+images+video shared among them?

Excuse #10: You wouldn’t have questioned or reported it either! Hypocrite! - One of the reasons I’m quite adamant about this is because I’m actually a victim of something like this so yes I would report it as anyone should. Or AT LEAST try and make sure it’s consensual and legal especially given the egregious numbers of 몰카  molka in South Korea.

Last thing I’d like to say for all fans who support this man and any of the others who were present in these chats:

It’s a truly sad and deplorable situation because you know if you looked at this logically - and not based on random twitter threads (but the actual evidence collected via the encrypted chats and all court documents), that you’d have to admit the truth. Seungri is guilty of doing absolutely nothing to help the victim(s). Everyone in the chat(s) are guilty.

You think the entirety of the chat has been released? You think someone who is a serial sex offender wouldn’t make r*pe jokes or speak of his conquests the way he so freely did in various other gcs? You think that didn’t happen both inside and out of the gcs, at clubs, in passing, etc? If you think Seungri didn’t repeatedly excuse that behavior, both inside and outside of the chat, then there’s no hope for you to ever logically consider this. And that’s a shame because there is a victim here and it’s not Seungri.

I am *tired* of dealing with those who excuse sex crimes and the participants.

I am tired of apologists of sex crimes and those who perpetuate them.

As a small aside, some of my tweets were reported because these stans felt it was necessary (none were removed). But they didn’t feel it was necessary for Seungri to report a non-consensual video??

The only innocent one here is the victim - the one who was filmed against her will -who was shared for all who watched but none who questioned. (please share)

“If BTS did what Seungri did, you would be defending them, too.” No honey. I’d be out of this fanbase so fast you wouldn’t even see me leave. I’d delete this blog and burn every fucking piece of merchandise I have. I love BTS with all my heart but if they did something like this, it would absolutely be unforgivable and my love would automatically dissipate. Gone. That’s it. Done.

BIGBANG Seungri Scandal (long read)

BIGBANG’s Seungri has become a suspect in soliciting prostitution- which goes against South Korea’s anti-prostitution law. Alleged Kakao Talk messages have been leaked of Seungri handling prostitution services for rich investors and it’s believed the women are traded in the clubs which Seungri founded. Club ‘Burning Sun’ and 'ARENA’ are currently under investigation by the police.

It’s not been confirmed yet if he is innocent or guilty. I get it’s hard to come to terms if someone you like could be doing shady and illegal stuff but that’s the real world. If you want to continue to support Seungri that’s up to you, but I feel like many are being very ignorant about the whole situation.

Prostitution is illegal in Korea but the industry is striving. Hundreds of thousand of women become involved with the sex industry and it’s estimated about 20-24% of men have payed for sexual services. The sex industry grosses 1.6% GDP in South Korea (from 2007). Even run away youths as young as 15 and elderly women in their 70s (Bacchus ladies) find themselves apart of prostitution. The legalization/criminalization of the industry is very muddy- some women depend on it as their liviliehood while others are there out of desperation or even sex trafficking. Even if you believe prostitution should be legal, I think it’s agreeable that a bunch of men messaging each other about offering and paying for a prostitute- a woman, a human being- like she’s some kinda of merchandise is very unnerving.

It’s one thing to say “I want to support Seungri but I don’t agree with what he did and I understand it’s wrong if he is guilty. I think he’s better than that and he can change and I want to be there for him” but some comments sounds like “It’s okay if my oppa did this illegal thing because I don’t care and will always love him and I wish people didn’t give him such a hard time :(”.

To ignorantly support him despite his possible charges, is like excusing the type of behaviour of handling women like merchandise, not just by Seungri but by ANYONE. And to see people blindly defend Seungri especially during the whole ATEEN and SOPA situation is even more upsetting, because it’s like people are saying that sexual abuse isn’t okay unless the perpetrator is someone you are a fan of.

NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW.
