stop I will cry this episode was simultaneously the most adorable and devastating one yet and I need more
Hey so like. You know how Faroe is the lighter, yeah? How she is the constant source of warmth and light that guides Arthur through the cold, dark, and unknown? And you know how Arthur can never seem to lose the lighter? How she always finds her way back to his side, no matter what happens or tries to pull them apart? And you know how the lighter is the one thing of Arthur's that forces like Kayne cannot touch? How she is the one piece of Arthur that they can never harm or steal away? You know how Faroe can never truly be gone because she is entwined into Arthur's soul? How she is not just Arthur's light, but also his hope, his resilience, his love, his foundation? How she is all the strongest and most beautiful parts of him?
Yeah. Yeah you know that, and I know that. And now Arthur knows that, too.
faroe is fire because water puts her out. send post.
Oscar really chose the most unstable, fucked up guy to dedicate his damn life to
Finished Malevolent ep 29
This is all I had to say
I am half joking
Wait guys. If like, the King Arthur parallels in malevolent s5 are intentional, does that mean that hypothetically, the black stone could be the same as the sword in the stone? Or maybe the dagger Kayne gave him is more analogous to Excalibur and the Black Stone is the Holy Grail.
I mean, it is a quest given by a god, sooo

Little au concept:
What if in one of the different universes, Kayne explained more about his abilities when he first met Arthur, just to see what would happen. In this universe, john was the one who suggested that if things don’t work out Arthur would die and they would work things out in the dark world, In this universe John was the one with the knife, and in this universe, Arthur disagreed with John’s backup plan. When John drove the knife into Arthur’s neck Arthur felt betrayed despite living, and Kayne, after having so many similar conversations, assumes Arthur would want John back, and is surprised when he stands corrected.
Arthur decides that he’s sick of the world, sick of being betrayed by John and sick of himself, so he asks Kayne to help him do the same think Kayne once did. Kayne, intrigued and curious on what would happen if a mortal did so, agrees so long as Arthur can stomach the worst of it, so he takes Arthur to a universe where Arthur is happy. Sure he still experienced loss, not Faroe is alive and his pride and joy, where Arthur’s absence would be felt and hurt the person to whom he holds most of his regrets.
//spoilers for S4 of Malevolent. Proceed with caution//
Okay, so it was revealed that Yellow is the actual King in Yellow. Hastur. The whole guy. And the fact that Kaine slam dunked that guy into Arthur’s head with no memory of what or who he was is wild to me. Arthur’s just built different, I guess.
Yellow is kind of a tragic character for me. He came to Arthur at the worst possible time in his life. Of course the relationship wasn’t going to go well. But I think he wanted to know how Arthur and John worked. Why they fought so hard for one another. And it’s shown in the final episodes for S4 that he still was conflicted about Arthur. He’s genuinely confused and lost and sounds like a scared kid. He deserved better. To be treated better. I hope that going forward, he’ll have at least learned something from this whole experience.
I just had a thought. Arthur helps to bring out the best in John. But I think John is scared that he brings out the worst in Arthur. It really showed in S3, when Arthur was slipping hard and you could hear the shock, anger, and fear in John’s voice. It’s heartbreaking.
Thoughts?
my friend and i listened to uhhhhhhhhh 8 hours of malevolent straight last night
anyways. ep 12 really good
If Faroe was Arthur's light and in season three Arthur rarely uses his lighter. Then, Arthur rarely has her with him during one of his mental health wasn't good and he need a reason.
what do you mean i think its an amazing idea what can go wrong/j
when will i learn not to get attached to characters in horror podcasts
JUST FINISHED S4 OF MALEVOLENT
MY POOR BOY BUTCHER I LOVE HIM SO MUCH NOOIO :[
I like to think that an owl in episode 41 WAS in fact some sinister creature, but John just hasn’t seen a damn owl in his life. Like, Arthur tells him it’s just a bird and then the owl comes out of the darkness exposing her long snake neck and, I don't know, 10 more owl heads and John is like “well, no wonder why people think there’s something sinister about them, these birds are weird as hell…anyway-“
Btw, I think we’ve recovered too fast from the fact that Arthur ate a man
Everything is forgiven to sad British twink
So I got my friend to listen to Malevolent with me
Also I’m about to spam post a bunch of sketchbook stuff I am so sorry
I am so normal and sane about @organchordsandlightning ‘s fic, In Vino Veritas
I violently swing between shipping John and Arthur romantically or platonically
Here’s some art that leans to the former
My John design is very heavily inspired by @nauti-ca
The few Malevolent and Magnus Archives crossovers are keeping me sane
