        ❝  THEY DIDN’T HAVE ANY JAMESON,  so i got you a jack daniels.  their selection was  pretty shit. ❞  brian has to half shout to be heard over the the aggressive music, his hands already a little clumsy as he pushes a whiskey glass into naomi’s hands. the fake id brian had scored works better than the  attitude  he usually uses to get what he wants  — not that they even seem to  care  in a place like this. the floor is sticky, the music is fast-paced  &  angry,  &  the bar is so dark he can only see shapes of the people around him.  it’s nice, in a way;  at least it drowns out his own thoughts, especially once he starts sipping from his own glass, one arm thrown over naomi’s shoulders. ❝  what do you think of the band, babe ? ❞
