Creator Appreciation - Tumblr Posts
“There is no greater joy than that of feeling oneself a creator. The triumph of life is expressed by creation.”
—Henri Bergson
“For a man is a little lower than the angels, yet was made that he might become the companion of the Creative Forces; and thus was given--in the breath of life--the individual soul, the stamp of approval as it were of the Creator; with the ability to know itself to be itself, and to make itself, as one with the Creative Forces--irrespective of other influences.”
—Edgar Cayce
Grateful for all the artists who share their work :)
Thank you!! :)
“The more clearly you understand yourself and your emotions, the more you become a lover of what is.”
—Spinoza
When you say you “want” something, you’re saying it’s not here.
Dwell in gratitude and appreciation and all will flow.
Needing nothing really does attract everything.
FEEL genuinely grateful.
In order to receive, you have to give. It’s cool to receive, not gonna deny that, but the real satisfaction comes from giving. :)
“Prayer for Love
Thank You, Creator of the Universe for the gift of Life you have given me,
Thank You for giving me everything that I have ever needed,
Thank You for the opportunity to experience this beautiful body and this wonderful mind,
Thank You for living inside me with all Your Love and Your pure and boundless Spirit, with Your warm and radiating Light.
Thank You for using my words, for using my eyes, for using my heart to share your love wherever I go.
I love You just the way you are and because I am your creation, I love myself just the way I am.
Help me to keep the Love and the Peace in my Heart and to make that Love a new way of life, that I may live in Love the rest of my life.”
—Don Miguel Ruiz
“There is no greater joy than that of feeling oneself a creator. The triumph of life is expressed by creation.”
—Henri Bergson
“Give yourself a gift of five minutes of contemplation in awe of everything you see around you. Go outside and turn your attention to the many miracles around you. This five-minute-a-day regimen of appreciation and gratitude will help you to focus your life in awe.”
—Wayne Dyer
“Everybody born comes from the Creator trailing wisps of glory. We come from the Creator with creativity. I think that each one of us is born with creativity.”
—Maya Angelou
“Self-made men often worship their creator.”
—Bryant H. McGill
shoutout to the people working for hours on content that only gets ten notes. i’m kissing you tenderly on the forehead as we speak
Your writing is spectacular even if it doesn’t get many notes. It’s spectacular because you wrote it. You had words all tumbling around in your head and you wrote them down and shared them for all of us to see. You gave us a bit of yourself. You’re spectacular.
Your art is awe-inspiring even if it doesn’t get many likes or comments. You saw a picture in your mind and you decided to put a pen in your hand and translate it into lines and curves and blocks of grayscale and color. You painted a bit of your soul and let us view it. You’re awe-inspiring.
Your edits and gifs are full of life. You saw a scene, a line, maybe even a gesture from a content you loved and decided to immortalize it. You made a snapshot of something you loved and have shared it so the rest of us can view this same marvel, this moment in time that means so much to you. You’re full of life.
Your analyses are the spark to a fire. They are full of passion and pain, interest and intelligence, anger and anguish, but most importantly: they’re a bit of you. Whether it’s your analysis on a piece of art that’s stuck with you or a current event, a quote from a book or a critical essay on something that’s hurt others, the writing is all you. It is your voice and spirit. It is a glimpse into what has shaped you into who you are today. They are the spark, and you are the fire.
All of your creations matter because you matter. Your creations, after all, are you.
