Our house mum (the woman who looks after my grade in boarding) crocheted some mice for all of us in my grade with a little message attached to them that describes them because we made it 3/4's through the year

Every term we have a new theme, this term's theme is "Twice as nice" which rhymes with mice, so we have little mouse stickers around our level and its really cute

This is the mouse that I got, we had lots of laughs and a big group hug at the end and it was really nice

I named my mouse Chik Chik bc i thought it was a cute name for a cute mouse

hey so im writing a story set in a boarding school, for high school, in america, but i have no idea how they (or american schools) work, what the layout of dorms and campus' and things are like, what classes do people take or really just in general how a boarding school is? could you help me with this?

I'm writing a story centered around an all-boys Catholic prep school in New York, but having been a home-schooled student not particularly savvy in any kind of spiritualism, I've no idea what my characters' daily routine would be like. What kind of classes would they be expected to attend compared to other high schools? Religious services? Charity work? How would their experience differ from public high school in general? Google hasn't been very helpful. Thank you!

A quick note: You don’t have to be Catholic to attend a Catholic school. Many friends in college are Muslim, and attended (and enjoyed!) going to a Catholic high school.

About the catholic prep school–some schools include daily optional masses in the mornings and monthly mandatory schoolwide mass. There’s an extra class or two centered around religion. Also, like the admin said, not everyone is 100% holy in a catholic school. Being a boy’s school, there’s a propensity for homosexual attraction between students. Being force-fed school values also make some students more rebellious, though overall the atmosphere is just like your regular high school.
