RWBY AU proposition. Jaune is from the Great War Era and fought in the war (he still has Crocea Mors) and is tasked by the King of Vale (Ozma) to escort the then fall maiden towards the City of Vale. However, a group under Salem ambush them using a portal created by the Relic of Creation to reach them. (In this AU, Salem and her followers were able to get their hands on the Relic of Creation during the chaos caused by the war) During the fight, Jaune is forced to mercy kill one of his friends who after having half of his body crushed by a rock by one of Salem’s followers just wants their suffering to end due to the pain. After killing his best friend, Jaune goes on to attack Salem’s followers before being pushed into a portal and landing in the Ever After. (Jaune’s platoon won by the way, and were able to save the fall maiden and recover the relic, but were unable to get Jaune from the Ever After) From there, everything that happened to Cannon Jaune happens to this Jaune. At the end of Volume 9 Jaune is sent to Modern Day Remnant with Team RWBY, where he joins them in the war against Salem. Much like Canon Jaune, this Jaune is de-aged to about 21-22. I don’t know what to call this AU, but tell me what you guys think.
