sometimes i think about how there has always been this dream version of me in my head who knows how to play the piano and can sing in key and charts stars by herself (and w her loved ones too) and reads so many books and studies diligently every day and is top of every academic pursuit and has all these skill-based creative outlets she nourishes constantly and does not have to compromise any of them for the other bc she knows how to budget her time and is not afraid of failure and does not let petty distractions like phone time get in her way. and i'm like oh. i want that really bad. like that truly eclipses everything else in my life
All summer
be aware of what you consume:
the energy of others: surround yourself with positive people and avoid those who drain you.
the videos you watch: select content that inspires, educates or entertains you in a healthy way.
what you read: look for reliable sources and material that enriches you intellectually.
who you follow: follow people who inspire and challenge you to grow.
what you scroll through on social media: avoid negative content and look for something that motivates you or makes you feel good.
the news: look for objective sources of information and avoid information overload.
highlights of others: compare less and celebrate more the achievements of others.
the advice you listen to: evaluate advice according to your criteria and needs.

tips for conquering the week ahead
mental
make sure you're taking time to journal, practice gratitude daily (it always works out in my favour
breathing exercises when you're feeling overwhelmed at any point (i use the 3-3-3 method all the time)
listening to a calming playlist like this one to create an ambient environment to work in....which will make you smarter and work harder!
physical
make time for a hot girl walk every day even if it's just for 15 minutes!! your body will thank you for the movement
STRETCHHHH!!! you want your bones to be limber and not pop everytime you move. (i'm trying to be more flexible this year)
eat your veggies....stop eating so much fast food
make sure you're taking your multivitamins you need them!!
spiritual/religious
take time to pray when you can, daily
leave offerings for your spirit guides and and cleanse your altar
yours (and my!) goal for this week is to write more!! learn more words, and use them in everyday conversations. the ability to read is such a great gift to have that many of us take for granted when there are so many realities and universes to explore through written magic
