The Art That We Drew And The Art That We Liked - Tumblr Posts
It's so insane how connected the internet makes us. The fact that someone on the other side of the world can see what I'm writing in real time. Just wow. The fact that I can listen to my playlist with music made by complete strangers I will never know in Korean, Japanese, Spanish, and Norwegian while lying on my warm bed in my home in America and not even give it a second thought. The fact that I'm connected instantaneously to billions of other people with just a couple taps on a screen.
This is one of those moments where I feel like I really was born in the right generation. This is so incredible. Thank you all for being here, connected to me through undersea cables and power lines. Who all tapped your phones in just the right sequence to find me, and decided you liked me enough to find this message. Thank you. We really do live in a world of marvels. We're so desensitized to modernity that I think we don't take enough time to appreciate how absolutely mind blowing it all is.
Like... This random post I'm typing at 2 am is going to be immortalized forever. That's insane! We're so lucky to have that type of record, and reach, and platform. We're so insanely lucky to be living in the present moment. I'm just so thankful. Thank you to everyone who made this moment possible. The creators of every invention. The laborers in every factory. All the individual consumers and users. My parents, and their parents, and all my ancestors too. All the artists and mechanics and politicians who butterfly effected they way to this moment. Thank you. I'm so grateful to be here. I'm so grateful to have all that I have. I love this moment. I love being here. I love you all.
