*They all hug Tails*
You're My Brother:
Sonic was sleeping peacefully in his racecar bed when he woke up to what sounded like muffled sobs coming from Tails' bed.
Frantically getting up Sonic quickly and as quietly as he could went over to his plane shaped bed.
In it the young fox was curled up in a ball his namesakes wrapped tightly around himself, his body shaking as the young fox sobbed.
Feeling his heart practically split in two Sonic gently rested his hand on the kit's shoulder.
"Tails, Tails." Sonic said softly trying to calm him.
This however had the opposite effect as Tails saw Sonic and gasped in shock hugging one of his Tails to his chest.
"S-Sonic, I-I didn't meant to wake you, I'm sor-." Tails mumbled still trembling violently.
"Woah bud, calm down, you've done nothing wrong." Sonic said in a soft voice that would have even surprised Robotnik.
Tails just whimpered and curled up on himself even more.
"Bad dream?" Sonic asked, already knowing the awnser.
Tails just nodded another sob escaping him.
"You wanna talk about?" Sonic asked, that usually worked for him anyway.
Tails simply shook his head, Sonic frowned and tried to think of something.
"Wanna grab a midnight snack?" Sonic asked.
Tails looked at Sonic pondering this, admittedly he was hungry, but didn't want to get in trouble.
"Are we allowed?" Tails asked.
"I won't tell if you won't." Sonic said winking at Tails.
Tails thought it over for a moment before nodding and getting up.
The two quietly snuck down into the kitchen and Tails sat down at the table, Sonic came over and put a glass of water on the table for him.
"What would you like to eat pal?" Sonic asked.
Tails shrugged.
"Not sure." He said.
"I know, you still haven't tried chilli dogs yet have you?" Sonic asked.
Tails shook his head.
"You're in for a treat buddy." Sonic said rubbing his hands together.
Sonic got up and went into the kitchen. After preparing the necessary items he got the chilli dogs cooking.
He then went and joined Tails, leading him over to the couch and sitting down next to him.
Sonic reached over and gently stroked Tails' bangs.
Tails teased slightly, but relaxed when he noticed it was Sonic.
This didn't go unnoticed by Sonic, but he didn't comment on it.
"You were there you know." Tails said softly.
"Where?" Sonic asked.
"My dream, the people from my old village, they took me away from you and the others...made me go back to my old village." Tails said shuddering.
"Hey, you aren't going anywhere bud, you're stuck with us for the long run." Sonic said.
Tails chuckled weakly and gave Sonic a small smile.
"Tails...granted I don't know the full extent of what those people did to you, but it was wrong, it never should happen to anyone, especially not someone as sweet as you." Sonic said.
Tails took a deep breath then spoke.
"The people in my village...they weren't nice, sometimes they'd pull on my tails, break my inventions, once they even threw me into a freezing river, they did...horrible things." Tails said, his tears beginning to renew themselves again.
Sonic pulled Tails into a hug.
"Well it won't happen here, mom, dad, me and Knuckles, we'll look after you." Sonic said.
"You promise?" Tails asked.
"I promise, you're my little brother Tails, and I love you bud." Sonic smiled gazing at the Fox lovingly.
Tails smiled and hugged Sonic tighter, even wrapping his tails around him.
They stayed like this until the timer announced the chilli dogs were ready.
Not wasting any time Sonic promptly brought them into the living room and handed a plate of them to Tails.
"They smell so good." Tails said, his mouth watering slightly.
"Go on, try one." Sonic said encouragingly.
Tails put one in his mouth and his eyes practically lit up.
"Wow, they're delicious." Tails spoke through a mouthful of food.
Sonic chuckled and the two ate their food in silence.
Soon they finished and Sonic put the plates in the kitchen.
They simply sat for a few minutes before Tails yawned sleepily, his eyes barely open.
"Sleepy bud?" Sonic asked.
Tails just mumbled incoherently and yawned again, rubbing his eyes.
"I'll take that as a yes, come on bud, time to go to bed." Sonic said.
Tails nodded, too tired to protest.
Sonic took Tails' hand and led him back up to their shared bedroom in the attic.
Sonic helped the extremely sleepy fox back into his bed and made sure the blanket was wrapped snugly around him.
"G'night Sonic." Tails yawned and almost immediately fell asleep the only sound in the room being his soft snores.
Sonic chuckled and watched him sleep for a moment brushing his bangs away from his face, he couldn't help but smile at the content look on Tails' face.
"Goodnight Tails, sweet dreams little bro." Sonic said smiling before heading over to his bed and getting in.
Sonic could now rest easy knowing his little brother was comfortable and happy.
You're wanted *a Tails Wachowski One shot*
Tails has been hiding his whole life, but what if after thinking for so long he'd never find anyone who'd love him...he did
A few days after the fiasco with Robotnik Tom, Maddie, Knuckles, and Tails were sitting at the Wachowski family table.
Tom and Maddie were discussing something in hushed voices.
Tails had a horrible hunch on what they were talking about, but he hoped he was wrong.
His hunch was confirmed when Tom looked at Knuckles and Tails and asked the dreaded question.
"So, what do you guys plan on doing now?"
Tails and Knuckles looked at Tom confused.
"Well surely you guys have homes, and your parents must be worried sick, right?" Tom asked.
"Sadly no I'm afraid not, all my tribe have been dead for a long time, and I no longer have a home to return to." Knuckles said.
"I'm so sorry hon, but you're welcome to stay." Maddie said.
"Thank you miss Maddie, I appreciate it." Knuckles asked.
"What about you little guy?" Tom asked turning to Tails.
Tails was about to reply when he suddenly froze.
"They don't want you here." A faint but horrifyingly familiar voice hissed at him.
But surely they did...right.
"You're no good to them...all you are is a burden." The voice hissed.
Tails shook his head and covered his ears trying to drown out the voice.
Surely the Wachowski's wanted him, surely they loved him...didn't they.
"You're. A. FREAK." The voice hissed, yelling the last word with such venom.
Tails shrunk in slightly on himself but jumped when he suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder.
He looked and saw it was Sonic, with a very concerned frown on his face.
"Tails...you okay pal?" Sonic asked looking worried.
"Yeah, just zoned out for a moment...you know what I'm like." Tails lied.
Sonic nodded, but he wasn't convinced at all.
Tails turned back to Tom.
"Oh yeah, my old village probably are missing me, they just...love me there." Tails lied again.
Tom looked at Maddie who looked just as confused as him, clearly something was wrong, but they couldn't just force him to tell them.
"Well okay, if you're sure. But if you need us we're just a ring toss away." Tom said.
Tails nodded, pushing back the tears that were threatening to fill his eyes.
A couple of days later Tails was getting ready to leave, the others were saying their hopefully short lived farewells to the fox.
"You get everything hon?" Maddie asked.
"Yeah, I think I've got everything." Tails said adjusting his backpack straps.
"It's gonna be odd not having you around pal, you've already fit in so well with us." Tom said.
Tails was going to say something when he heard the voice again.
"They're lying." It growled into his ear.
"Thank you...Mr Wachowski." Tails nodded.
They all gave Tails a hug before the fox pulled out a ring and threw it down.
"Well...goodbye." Tails said giving them a small, sad wave before disappearing through the ring.
The ring closed behind him seconds later.
Sonic frowned as Tails went through the ring, he had a nagging feeling something was wrong.
"I don't know about you guys, but I don't like this." Sonic said still staring at the spot where Tails had vanished.
The others nodded, they all had a feeling Tails wasn't telling them something.
Meanwhile:
A ring opened in the middle of the forest and an all too familiar fox jumped out from it.
Tails looked around and saw a small cave in front of him, Sonic's old cave he guessed, only a lot more barren because Sonic's stuff was in his room at the Wachowski house.
Tails felt his heart clench when he thought of them.
Surely they'd liked him, did he do something wrong?
"They don't want you, nobody wants you, TWO. TAILED. FREAK." The voice roared, Tails could feel his eyes watering.
Tails curled up into a ball on the floor and wept.
Over the next few weeks Tails showed up very little, which was to be expected but Maddie and Tom couldn't help but notice some changes in the fox.
He seemed much quieter than normal and Tom and Maddie could both swear he'd gotten thinner.
Tails said he'd gone back to his parents, but clearly they weren't doing their jobs.
Plus he seemed awfully young, even younger than they'd first thought.
They decided to talk to him about it the next time they saw him.
Thankfully they didn't have to wait long as Tails showed up a few days later.
He'd just finished eating when Tom and Maddie sat next to him.
"Tails, honey can we talk for a minute?" Maddie asked.
Tails just nodded and looked at her.
"How old are you, if I may ask, you seem awfully young." Maddie said.
Tails frowned and was silent for a moment before speaking.
"Eight." He said looking at her dead in the eye.
Tom and Maddie were shocked, this kid was EIGHT and apparently hopping between planets by himself.
Sure some kids were allowed to travel small distances by themselves, but THIS was something else, Tails was far too young to literally travelling to different planets by himself.
Tails saw the looks on their faces and frowned, did he say something wrong.
"Is everything ok, did I do some wrong?" Tails asked.
"No no, of course not honey, you're just a bit young to be hopping planets by yourself." Maddie said stroking the Fox's bangs not noticing the way he seemed to tense at the contact.
"Maybe we should meet your parents Tails." Tom suggested, maybe Tails would be happy to introduce his family to them.
However this had the exact opposite effect they were expecting.
Tails mumbled about a million things at once and with speed that would make Sonic jealous he bolted out the first window and within moments was gone.
And he didn't come back.
It wasn't for another month Tails would be found.
That night Wade was driving into town when he suddenly saw something on the road in front of him.
Cursing and slamming on the breaks as hard as he could Wade prayed he didn't hit whatever it was.
Thankfully the car stopped just in the nick of time.
Wade hurriedly got out the car to investigate and to his utter shock his car lights illuminated...Tails.
Wade was no parent and he certainly wasn't very experienced with kids but he could tell Tails had been having a rough time of it.
His fur was dirty and seemed longer than the last time he saw the kid.
He could also see what looked like food scattered everywhere...but why would Tails need to steal food.
Nevermind that now, he needed to help this kid.
Wade slowly approached Tails, noting how the kid looked absolutely terrified.
"Hey Tails, it's me Wade, you remember me right?" Wade asked.
Tails nodded cautiously.
"That's good, I need you to come to the station with me, I'll call Tom." Wade said.
Tails frowned, he really wanted to see the others, but he didn't want to bother them either.
"Please kid, we've been looking for you for ages, they really want to see you." Wade said.
Tails sighed and nodded, he just couldn't keep this up anymore.
Once they got to the station Wade cleaned Tails up the best he could and made him a cup of hot chocolate, sticking some cream and marshmallows in there as well.
While Tails gratefully sipped his drink Wade called Tom and told him about Tails.
Not even ten minutes later Tom, Maddie, Knuckles and Sonic practically barreled into the police station.
"Tails, you're OK!" Sonic exclaimed joyfully running up to Tails and enveloping him in a hug.
To everyone's surprise Tails suddenly burst into tears.
"Tails?" Sonic asked confused.
"Hey, hey what's wrong baby?" Maddie asked worriedly kneeling down to Tails' height and looking at him worriedly.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry I didn't go back." Tails sobbed clinging onto Sonic's fur, his entire body shaking as he sobbed with what seems like weeks and weeks of pent up sadness suddenly exploding.
"I should have just left and not let you all worry about me, this time I promise I'll go." Tails said still hobbling heavily into Sonic.
"Woah Woah, we aren't mad honey more concerned, but if you haven't been at home, where have you been?" Maddie asked.
"I'm the forest, I-In Sonic's old cave." Tails said trying to stop the tears now flowing down his face.
"But what about your parents, don't they miss you?" Tom asked confused.
Tails sniffled and looked at Tom with glassy eyes.
"They don't care about me, they left me years ago." Tails said.
You could have heard a pin drop in the silence that enveloped the room, even Wade was speechless.
Sonic broke the silence.
"They-They left you." Sonic said gaping at Tails' slack jawed.
Tails just nodded.
"I don't know why, I don't even know if I did something wrong, but they just left me, in the middle of a field, I had to look after myself." Tails said.
"But didn't they...care for you?" Knuckles asked.
Tails laughed, but not his usual chirpy laugh, this was a cold, bitter laugh that sent chills down Knuckles's spine.
"Love me, they were as bad as the rest of my village, maybe worse, they didn't hug or kiss me, they didn't comfort me when I had nightmares or was scared of the storms, they'd even break my inventions because they believed they were "unnatural" and "freakish", they straight up told me I was nothing but a burden to them and a curse on our entire town, when my mother left me her last words to me were literally "Farewell Miles, you have been nothing but a burden to us since the moment you born, you're unnatural and scary and are a curse upon us and our village, now go, I never want to see you again. YOU. TWO. TAILED. FREAK"." Tails yelled his body shaking violently as a whole new round of sobbing commenced immediately after his rant.
Sonic stared at Tails with glassy eyes, he'd been fighting hard not to cry seeing Tails...no, his little brother break down like this, but that last part was the nail in the coffin, and sure enough Sonic found himself crying too.
"Oh Tails, that's so awful, I'm so sorry." Sonic choked out before pulling Tails into another almighty hug, the two just simply crying into each other's fur.
"I'm sorry Tails, I'm so sorry you had to go through that, I wish I could have stopped it from happening to you." Sonic said clinging onto Tails for dear life.
"It doesn't matter, I guess they were right about me after all, no one wants me, I'm nothing but a little two tailed freak." Tails choked out.
Maddie cut Tails off before he could say anything else, looking him directly in the eyes.
"Miles prower, I never want to hear you say that again! You are one of the most precious things I have ever met, you are not a freak, you never were, and I swear to you if I ever find the people who've treated you this way, I will put them through hell and back." Maddie vowed.
Tails just nodded and Maddie hugged both him and Sonic, Tom and Knuckles joining in the hug.
Tails couldn't believe how loving and caring the Wachowski's had been to him and for the first time in years Tails finally believed there was someone out there who would love him.
And it was the Wachowski family.
Brief summary for a Sonic and Tails story I might do:
After the events of Eggman's defeat, The Wachowski's have settled into a somewhat normal life, however unknown to them Tails' inner demons have been corrupting him, anger and resentment boiling inside of him Tails slowly begins to isolate himself not sure he could trust his newfound family.
After a feud with Sonic Tails anger explodes and he leaves, building a small workshop far away from Green Hills. He builds a robotic clone of Sonic as well as numerous other robots to act as his friends.
However Tails own emotions continue to corrupt him, influenced by the robot Sonic who developed a personality similar to Eggman, and when the others come after him he attacks, can Sonic save his little brother or Tails inner demons completely consume him.
A Chance Meeting Chapter 1: Something New
On the planet of Mobius, mobians and humans lived together, but what if I told you there were other species that co-existed alongside them? Little creatures, scurrying under your eyes, taking little things you wouldn't notice like sewing pins, crumbs of food, bottle caps, left-out tape, whatever they need to survive, and unnoticeable to the beans they stole from. Miles Prower is one of these tiny creatures. He's a borrower, doing whatever it takes to survive in this big, unpredictable world. After witnessing his parents get caught and never seen again, he vowed to never trust a bean, to never let them see him. He stayed away from beans, living in the forest and away from the other borrowers that would mock him for his two individual tails.
So far, he's managed for years, now eight years old and living in a small cave he made in a burrow under a tree. He's lived long enough to know what to do with different predators, know where to find food, and also has a hobby of inventing on the side. That all changes however when a blue hedgehog in a red plane crashes onto the island.
(Or I just had to create a Sonic Borrower crossover because it is a crime that there is a shocking lack of any I could find)
-----------------------------------------------------
Mobius was a beautiful planet. Beautiful forests and nature-filled lands covered practically all of the planet. Fresh lakes and oceans were filled with lush and colorful sea life, filling the fresh air with the calming scent of fresh or saltwater. On this planet, there weren't only humans living here, but anthropomorphic animals as well.
They were called Mobians. Animals who would walk on two legs, act exactly like humans, and wear clothes. Humans and mobians lived happily co-existing among each other, seeing each other as equals. But what if I told you another race lived among humans and mobians? Little critters that scurried underneath your own eyes, taking things you wouldn't care to notice, just to survive.
Tiny people who could also manage to talk, cloth themselves, and act exactly like a mobian. They weren't shrunken, they were just born that way, tiny warriors born to survive. These were borrowers. Tiny people who lived underneath the floorboards or lived in secret tunnels made in walls of humans or mobians and took small things like forgotten sewing pins, bottle caps, ripped cloth, and whatever else they could use for survival. They lived off of many rules, all of them to ensure they could be safe and stay alive.
One of them was the most important: never be seen by a bean.
That was what they called both humans and mobians alike. It's quite odd they were called that, perhaps it was a mistranslation from the word 'being', or maybe someone mistook it for that. Nonetheless, that was what the bigger people were known as. Beans were dangerous. There had been many horror stories passed down on what happened to creatures like them who were seen and caught.
Extermination, domestication, bodies ripped open and studied, and many more could make the bravest adult of the race shudder in terror. Because of that, they vowed down generations to never be seen or caught by humans or mobians.
Borrowers weren't limited to one animal, there were many borrowers of different species, dogs, cats, wolves, tigers, bears, birds, foxes, hedgehogs, and many more. The many differences were that they were tiny beings, the tallest adult being 7 inches tall. Another thing that they had that mobians didn't was certain features of their legs, nose, tails, and ears of that of a rat or mouse.
An odd mix of features if seen by a bean, but to another fellow borrower, it's natural. However, while having mouse features on some that are quite odd, having multiple limbs is odd even for borrowers.
That's what Miles Prower knew his whole life.
Just a tiny genius kid living on his own in the deep beautiful but dangerous forest, under the safety of an abandoned bunny burrow dug in the base of a tree. It was a nice and quaint little home, with many things he either kept for survival or collected along the way. Another thing you might notice is the many blueprints and inventions he created, made out of used bottles, bottle caps, balloons, paper, and even gears!
Miles had a gift for inventing, having been fascinated and passionate about the subject. He tinkered and made many kinds of inventions that would help him. Like a dome made out of several sand-filled straws, kept together with ducktape coloring the surface so he wouldn't see roots or dirt thrown on him every time a bean walks by, a makeshift lightbulb made by what once a broken nightlight before Miles came upon it. He took care in fixing it, separating the bulb from the power block and adjusting it so it functions like a normal lightbulb so things wouldn't be dark all the time.
He made a whole grappling hook, made of fish wire, a hook, a broken piece of plastic, and an engine he stole from a little toy car. He even made a device that helps crack open walnuts with just a paperclip and a pair of tweezers. Scattered all around his home, small blueprints were scattered about the tiny domain, blueprints of things he had thought of to help him and were yet to be made.
Truly Miles Prower had a gift. However, no matter how innovative and helpful these creations made were, there was one thing that always cast him out from the other borrowers:
Miles Prower had two tails.
He had the typical characteristics of his fellow borrowers, small mouse ears, long legs with padded feet like that of a rat, and a narrow snout. He even had bandages, made from leftover pieces of cloth, wrapped around several different places of his body from encounters with other predators. He was a little fox, having bright orange and white fur, and sharp predator-like teeth he made sure to chew hard foods like apples or seeds to keep his teeth from overgrowing his tiny body, and the orange and white tail. Or in this case, tails. They were long and skinny with short stubby orange fur ending in soft, fluffy white tufts at the end, like the other borrowers.
Nobody knew why he had two, he was just born with them. Other borrowers would constantly mock and make fun of him for them, calling him a freak or calling him 'Tails', which he absolutely hated. They were already weirded out by his inventions, seeing them as 'dangerous' and 'unnecessary'. But no matter how much trouble his inventions caused for the weekly portions of the clan he resided in, his parents never blamed him or pushed his dreams down. His mother and father always used to tell him to ignore these kids, that he would create something that would change borrower kind.
How he missed them.
If someone were to ask where his parents were he would simply reply that they were gone and that they had been a long time, but he wouldn't tell you what happened if asked, he'd simply walk away and ignore the rest of the conversation, not wanting to open up old wounds. It had been four years, Miles was eight now. He had managed on his own for a long time, making sure to stay far away from beans.
Back then he had been innocent, happy, and carefree. Now he was focused, serious, and constantly cautious. He knew the dangers of beans now, and the high stakes of his kind were always in. That was part of the reason he left and ventured out into the forest, so he wouldn't put the others in more jeopardy. He was only four back then when he went on his own but somehow managed on his own against the wild.
Now he knew more than how to survive. He knew where the best place to view the star was, where the fullest berry bushes were, how to tie a double knot when climbing, how to bandage and treat wounds and cure infections that may be caused by a bite from a critter with possible rabies or neglecting to clean the wound properly at first. He still had a bandage on his right arm from being attacked by a bird for stealing some worms.
Yes, he grew and matured, but that didn't mean he was happy. He was satisfied at best. Long days of surviving became nothing more than dull and empty. Miles Prower wasn't lonely, however. That was ridiculous, he was doing just fine on his own. He didn't need someone around to be another mouth to feed, a dependent weight to carry. He was perfectly fine on his own!
He just wished there was something more exciting out here. Something other than trees, berry picking, lizard skinning, or gazing at the endless white dots in the sky. He wanted something new . Something exciting.
Miles was bored, to say the least. He needed some excitement. Some adventure. Miles didn't exactly see wishes coming true, his past wishes of being accepted and not having his food stolen by the other kids. They never came true until he made them by leaving.
So imagine his surprise when one day, while he was carrying a lizard he killed back to his hut, a rising of smoke in the direction of the beach. At first, he was confused, as hardly anyone went there. Next to come was heart-pounding curiosity. This was something new.
What was out there? What was causing that smoke? He was just brimming with all sorts of questions related to the mystery smoke. All of them were itching to find out. He should really go back to his home and do what he normally does; focus on getting through the day and surviving. But his curiosity was overriding his survival instincts, nobody ever came out here, no beans or other borrowers. Nobody did other than him or his fellow critters.
Fear began to take hold of the little fox, as suspicions began to rise in his mind.
What if it was something dangerous? Maybe if he found out what it was he'd know what to do later. If it was something that threatened his home or his territory he'd know to move. The thought of moving made his heart pang, but it was always better safe than sorry. The now-forgotten lizard fell to the ground as the fox began to move toward the direction of the mysterious smoke, both excitement, and uneasiness beginning to bloom in his chest.
--------------------------------------------------------
Bright blue eyes stared in both awe and brimming excitement at the machine before him. It was a plane! A big beautiful red plane. He had heard and read about the beauties, but had never seen one in real life. Not until now. It was as amazing and huge as he thought it would be. Sleek metal. Big wide wings. It was everything he ever dreamed up beside the fact that it was currently in disrepair. Smoke seemed to be coming from the engine, perhaps there was a new need for an engine, or perhaps something was busted. He had read plenty of books about planes, including reading and studying how planes work, he could probably repair himself if he had the right tools...
and had the right height.
While the plane was beautiful and amazing in every way, there was just one problem. The plane belonged to a bean. A bright blue hedgehog with white gloves and red and white shoes was glaring at the plane, muttering something. He seemed to be mad and Tails made sure to stay out of sight. A mad bean was dangerous. Most prone to violence. Most prone to death. As lovely as the plane was, nothing was worth dying for. The hedgehog seemed to be mad at the plane. Seemed to be... talking to the plane?
Ok. That was odd.
The hedgehog looked at the engine, waving away the smoke from his face before glancing at it. He groaned in annoyance before slamming it back down. Jumping off the plane he appeared to be pondering something, his hand on his chin and his foot tapping abnormally fast. He took a glance at the forest, Tails ducked behind a bush for cover, and his eyes lit up. He turned back to the plane, smiling, and turned back towards the forest, newfound determination in his green eyes.
Before Tails could even blink, the blue urchin suddenly shot off in a blue blur, causing the small fox to yelp out in surprise, hanging onto the bush to avoid being blown away. When the backlash died down, the fox was left in utter shock and confusion. Eyes wide he murmured out one question.
"W-what just happened?"
That was impossible. Nobody could go that fast. It was impossible. But that hedgehog just did it right before his eyes. A shiver went down the borrower's spine. He would have to stay far away from the bean. If he was that fast, the fox didn't stand a chance. And sadly away from the plane. He looked back at it with sadness and longing. This was the first time he's ever seen a plane up close. He was hoping it would be abandoned or unoccupied. But no, it was used by the most dangerous species to borrower kind.
Wait.
This was pretty close to his home, wasn't it?
Yeah, this wasn't too far. It was in his territory. In fact, this was extremely close to his stargazing spot. This wasn't good. He loved watching the stars, not to mention, he needed to stay far away from beans. He saw what happened the last time he was caught. He saw what happened if borrowers were seen and caught. His mind began to come up with different ideas. He couldn't torment the bean. It'd only make him angry and possibly more dangerous. He couldn't let himself known to the hedgehog so he couldn't leave any notes asking him to move. Not to mention the plane was even bigger than the urchin, he probably wouldn't be able to lift it.
Wait, the plane.
He looked back at the plane. The perfect plane save for certain smoke coming from the engine. Someone would fix it eventually. After all, it looked like the hedgehog crashed on here or was forced to land because of the broken engine. Once it was fixed the bean would leave. He just had to wait.
He sighed sadly and looked at the plane one more time before turning and beginning to head off to his burrow.
What a shame. He just wished he could see and explore the plane. Well, he can't stay too long, the bean would probably come back with another bean. No matter what he couldn't be found out.
It was too dangerous. He just hoped the hedgehog would leave soon.
