Supernatural Requests?
So I have just started to watch supernatural again, and I am only on Season 3. But I’ll be happy to take requests and make AU’s surrounding these two fine Adonis men.
what if, through whatever means, after humanity destroys itself and is either replaced by a new species or aliens colonize earth, the only record of the Vietnam war is Twist and Shout? what then? will you be happy then?

Cas found Dean sitting behind the counter in the kitchen, surrounded by empty beer bottles.
Looking at an old family picture of his mother, Dean didn’t seem to notice Cas.
Tentatively, Cas sat down next to him. “Hello Dean.”
“What are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be in Cleveland?” Dean slurred.
“You called for me.” Cas answered.
“Bullshit.”
“I sensed your distress.” He clarified.
Dean chuckled bitterly. “I’m always distressed, it’s part of the job.”
Cas didn’t answer, just took Dean’s half empty beer bottle and put it away. “What’s wrong, Dean?”
The sound Dean made was something between a whimper and a dry sob and absolutely heartbreaking. “I’m not what she wants.”
“So this is about your mother?”
Dean stared at the picture on his lap. “She’s not how I remember and I’m not what she remembers either. So she left. Because we’re not her family.”
“But you and Sam are her sons; you are the very definition of family.”
It took Dean a few minutes to say something, Cas waited patiently, his eyes on the young Mary Winchester holding a newborn Sammy with his big brother proudly standing next to them, John Winchesters hand on his shoulder.
“That’s her family. Her sons are six months and four years old. She can’t stand looking at how fucked up they became. She can’t stand looking at us. At me” The tears Dean has tried so hard to hold back started to fall freely now. “I wasn’t enough.”
In an attempt of comfort, Cas put an arm around Dean and let him rest his head on his shoulder.
“Everybody leaves, Cas. Nobody can bear to be near me. Sooner or later, everybody wants to get away from me.” Dean sobbed, he couldn’t stop the tears and couldn’t control how his voice broke at the end of the sentence, but it was Cas he was talking to, so it didn’t matter, Cas wouldn’t judge him for it.
“Dean, that’s not true. I’m right here.”
“You’ll leave too, eventually. But it’s okay, it’s not your fault, it’s mine. I’m used to it.”
Cas knew it was useless to try to talk sense into Dean, he was too hurt for that, so he changed the subject. “I talked to your mother last night, she said she wasn’t sure if she belonged here.”
“But she does. We’re everything she has left.”
“She’s aware of that. But she is also afraid. She lost everything that was familiar; she doesn’t know who she is anymore. You have to give her time, Dean. It may take a while for her to truly understand her purpose on earth, but she’ll find it and come back.”
With his forehead still laying on Cas shoulder, Dean took a moment to think about those words, before quietly whispering: “How do you know?”
“Because I was in the same situation as your mother is now, I still am, sometimes.”
“What do you mean?”
“Angels are not supposed to be here on earth, and although I’ve been here for several years now, I still feel like I don’t belong here. I’m not human, I don’t get the jokes you make and I still don’t understand human etiquettes that well. I still feel out of place.” Cas explained.
It could’ve been the alcohol that made him bold enough to wrap his arms around Cas’ neck and pull him in a tight hug, but Dean was crying again and that he definitely blamed on the beer. “I’m sorry. Cas, I’m so sorry you feel like that. I should have…I’m sorry, I should have noticed, I should have done something, anything, to make you feel at home.”
The angel didn’t understand Deans strong reaction, wasn’t it obvious, he has existed since day one, the time he has spent on earth was nothing more than the blink of an eye compared to his life before he pulled Dean out of Hell. But somehow this blink felt more important than anything before. “Stop blaming yourself for everything, Dean. You gave me a home, a room of my own, you showed me the beauty of God’s creation, you showed me what it’s like to care.”
Dean buried his face in the crook of Cas neck. “Please don’t leave tonight.”
“I won’t.”
“Please don’t leave ever.”
“I won’t, I promise.”
