I hate that they don’t really value his feelings as a friend. It really sucks but he’ll be the first to be called out if he does something wrong 😑

i feel so bad for lucas. he's made his intentions clear by joining the basketball team from the start. him, mike and dustin all said they wanted high school to be different and he's sticking by what they said. he just wants him and the gang to stop being bullied because they're outcasts... like he's not even doing it for himself; he's doing it for everyone.

then lucas said that mike and dustin coming to his big game was really important to him and yet they chose a campaign over him. he saw them exiting the hellfire club looking like they had an amazing time without him, like they didn't even care that he was there or not. he had no one - not a single person - come to support him. lucas' ambition and efforts to experience a better life is lowkey being punished by his friends.

he's also trying his best with max. he's being so concerned, gentle and understanding with her even though she's evidently been brushing him off for months. he won't give up on her. he offers her the ticket, sees her suffering and expresses his worries but doesn't get angry and push her. he's so patient and understanding.

lucas is trying his damn best. he's so underappreciated by his friends. he's trying to better himself whilst helping all of them and he deserves better.

everyone saying that at least the duffer brothers gave us two gay ships. NO THEY DIDNT??? THE WAY THEY HYPED UP WILL’S SEXUALITY BEING A BIG PART AND IT WAS NEVER EVEN EXPLICITLY MENTIONED? THEY ALSO HYPED UP VICKIE AND ROBIN GETTING A GIRLFRIEND FOR THEIR TO BE A GRAND TOTAL OF THREE *THREE* SCENES WITH VICKIE IN AND ROBIN HAS NO CLUE IF SHES EVEN GAY. NOT TO MENTION THEY WERE ALMOST THE SAME MF PERSON? LIKE WHAT?? VICKIE REPEATS PART OF ROBINS MONOLOGUE EARLIER IN THE SEASON AND THATS SUPPOSED TO BE RELATIONSHIP GOALS? no. i do not care about the jancy/stancy love triangle theyre trying to push. for the amount they hyped up potential lgbt relationships i was severely disappointed. shout out to joseph quinn for giving us the most in his scenes with joe keery. fuck the duffle bags.

Thinking about that moment when they discover the magic light and they are like "Do you guys know Morse code??" And then Eddie goes "what do you think darling 💋" and just goes Morse codding. Like, a close up of his face, doing SOS in Morse code, on a magic light.

I love this show. He needs to come back like Jesus or sum. 🗣️🗣️🗣️

make that facial expression, and imagine youre about to say something after it. think about how it makes you feel, what emotions or experiences come to your mind

now, have you EVER made that face before saying something good? something pure and true? something you're not ashamed of? something you think is going to help the person you're saying it to? something coming straight from your heart that you've been holding back for years? have you ever made that face before saying a verbal manifestation of the love you share with your favorite person?

i'll bet a million dollars your answer is HELL. NO.

and i'll bet another million that the times you have made that face, it was before saying something bad. maybe something you know full well is not true. something you desperately don't want to say. something you have to force yourself to say. maybe even something someone is making you say. something your body is rejecting as it leaves your mouth because you know it's a lie.

or maybe it was before saying something that scares you, something you know is going to get you in trouble. maybe it was the truth, but a hard truth. a truth that is going to hurt someone you don't want to hurt. maybe it scared you because it defied everything you've ever been taught, it was something you're afraid to say because of how the people you care about will see you. maybe no one ever saw this coming from you, maybe you've been persuaded to not say it.

a lot of people say that most byler moments are just finn wolfhard making random faces. are you people stupid or did you forget these people are ACTING?? and that using your facial muscles to fabricate an emotion is a CONSCIOUS ACTION??
