Happy Litha everyone! I will be performing a rite today at noon central time for this purpose. If you would like me to light a candle and send energy on your behalf, please let me know within the next few hours so I can make preparations.
Id like to propose a Working for this Summer Solstice, the point in our hemisphere of the greatest Light and the greatest Solar Energy, a mass Working directing our energies at our nation’s politics, practices, and policies in hopes of spreading Light and Wisdom…. enough to stop these senseless policies of child abuse, highway immigration stops, the senseless rising tide of racism and hatred towards People of Color (whether our own citizens or not), the general turn towards Fascist Collapse our nation has been falling down in the recent past. We stand dangerously close to becoming, as a nation, the very thing we’ve been taught to fight against and the very thing we historically have fought against.
If we can come together and put aside the petty divisions used to keep us separate, I believe we can fight this turn towards Fascism.
I dont propose a scripted Working; I know that the community I am connected to shares many different working Traditions, and in turn each of the people I am connected to is themselves connected to a rainbow of diversity in their world, and so on through each of our connections… each and every one of us has a different skill set and different things to bring to the communal Table, and each and every one of our remarkable and beautiful Traditions is an expression of the Melting Pot our nation is SUPPOSED TO BE. This is an opportunity to revel in our diversities while sharing Enlightenment and the Light of Wisdom; it shouldnt come from one script or imply there is only one way to be a real American.
Solitaries, Covens, Iles, Houses, Circles, Munansos, Churches, Fellowships, Kingdom Halls, Lodges, Clans, Kindreds… we can all come together in common purpose and need. The Solstice is this Thursday, the 21st. We could easily keep this going with those who may only have time to Work this weekend; we can easily put aside the barriers that stand between us and come together.
Will you join me?
Rather than scripting rites or dictating the things I feel people should pray for, I ask one thing; a common fixation point as a receptacle of our prayers and raised energies, a common symbol we all instantly know and who’s meaning is being degraded with every passing moment.

These are the finished cards so far for the tarot deck I’m making that will actually go on sale 😊🔮 the lighting makes it look a little bit yellow but hopefully you get the idea. Each card has its own page in my sketchbook so it’s hard to get consistent photos.
The entire deck is going to be in this colour scheme of purples, blacks and white, and I really wanted to stick to the hand drawn look without accidentally copying the Wild Unknown deck. I really like the watercolour backgrounds so I’m planning to do more of those.
I will be fixing some stuff in photoshop like adding some simple backgrounds where I didn’t want to mess up the drawing (knight of swords) and cleaning up any little mistakes. I’m also going to redraw that snake’s head on the Wheel of Fortune card.
This is already really long so I won’t go into each card, but for more info on the meanings and decisions behind each card send me an ask and I’ll do a separate post on it. It will be a full 78-card deck in a box with a booklet, which I’m planning to sell for £40 for everything ($53 depending how much the booklet costs to print and how in-depth it is). I’m still working on the pricing as well so please let me know what you’d usually pay for a full deck with box and booklet.

Happy Sagittarius season, Stargazers! We’re only 29 days from the start of the new year and the energy of Jupiter/Saturn’s run through the zodiac will be a doozy. You might already be feeling the effects with the eclipse energy permeating the skies. So without further ado, let’s take a look at what these next few weeks have in store for us.
December 1st — Moon Enters Scorpio and Neptune Goes Direct
Now, when Neptune’s Retrograde, this causes veils to be lifted and a few unsavory reality checks to hit you. So, during the time he was retrograde, things like the sleeping state/somnia cycles, altered states of mind including but not limited to: being high, drinking, catatonia, etc. Were all things many of us might’ve been struggling with. When he’s asleep those monsters under your bed come out to play. However, now that Poseidon’s clocked back in again, we may be able to catch those precious Z’s we’ve been missing out on. Temperance and moderation regarding spirits [libations not entities, lol] could be more in check for you, and synchronicities from the universe could be harassing you incessantly now. Don’t be surprised if soulmate stuff [including your friends] come about now that Neptune’s energy is back to normal.
December 4th — Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius
This shit right here. Right here this shit. This behemoth celestial occurrence has probably been running roughshod over you all already. Collectively, we’re likely feeling tired, dehydrated, moody, and this weird little thing with your libido might be overactive. More than a few of you might’ve noticed tensions high at work, customers or clients sounding agitated or patience running thin. Don’t try to run from it and you’re certainly not alone. Just remember you are still in control of your decisions and how you respond to what comes at you. Everything is a choice and Sag/Jupiter is the ruler of wisdom. Don’t be afraid to take advantage of what’s naturally available to us during this time. In addition, don’t be afraid to open yourself up to things you might’ve written off. Might be a good time to respond to that guy/girl you left on “read” in your DM’s or take that staycation/vacation you’ve been putting off.
December 12th — 12/12 Portal
Another portal opening. This gateway will open up a much needed cleansing of old ways. A time for letting go and sacrifice. In tarot, the number 12 is the card of the Hanged Man who represents letting go and release. You’ll find that this day is pretty much a magnet for manifesting. Lots of luck here.
December 13th — Mars Enters Sagittarius
Mars enters the jolly but philosophical sign of the Archer for the next six weeks. Get ready to get a cosmic injection of thrills and ragers. Seriously, Mars in this sign is what Dreamworks action/adventure films are made of. You might find yourself fueled by wanderlust and passion. You might even download Duo-Lingo and try your hand at that foreign language you’ve always wanted to learn. Just be mindful not to be too impulsive. As Mars is a fire planet and Sag is a fire sign, our drive might burn to strong to quickly. Use Jupiter’s wisdom to think before you act.
December 18th — Full Moon in Gemini
Gemini energy ruling the moon here means you might find your mental faculties going a mile a minute. Everything will interest you and everyone will be a source of curiosity. Very friendly/social energy. Since Mercury is the ruler of Gemini, you’ll intellectualize your emotions today and everything will be quite cerebral. You might even find you’re a chatty Cathy. Just don’t dry snitch on yourself. Not everyone needs to know your business. Those of you who practice/who plan on doing full moon rituals might find that spells regarding the mind or just increasing cleverness might be ideal during this time. In addition, those of you who may have natal placements in Gemini, pay attention- you might find this energy quite potent that day.
December 19th — Venus Retrograde in Capricorn and Chiron Direct
Venus takes a sabbatical in the Earthy and Saturnian sign of the seagoat. During this time, you’ll find that there will be a bit of internalization of everything the planet stands for. Themes tend to play out inwardly and affect psychological states. Therefore, expect matters related to the five senses, financial and material possessions, love, fertility in the literal and figurative senses, harmony and justice, aesthetics, relationships, and negotiations to be at the core of your thoughts. However, this is also a time to use discernment [which may be easier since Saturn is all about rationalization as apposed to emotion]. Sense and sensibility. Now is the time to set healthy boundaries with the people you love. It’s okay to say “No." It might be a challenging time for relationships but you are not responsible for other people’s feelings or their happiness. Now, this is not a free pass to be cruel but if you are labeled a “bitch” for sticking up for yourself and your mental health, so be it. Be a bitch. Do what you want. You’ll get more respect but laying down the law and taking care of you.
December 21st — Winter Solstice [Sun in Capricorn]
Blessed Yule to those who celebrate! Solstice is a time when the sun rises on the exact same latitudinal (declinations) degree. So this is the only time of the year that the sun actually stops it’s movement northward and or southward in our sky. It makes sense that time is literally stopped when Father time, AKA, Saturn starts running the show. Make that wishlist for 2022 because Father Karma will be blessing us with what we discipline ourselves with/focus on moving forward. The work we’ve done or have been doing we’ll be reaping the rewards for. In addition, what you haven’t been taking care of or what you’ve neglected might catch up to you so take care to tighten up wherever you’ve been slacking. Huge activations in consciousness. Turn your focus towards our long term goals, career, public image and prestige. 10th House things, which Saturn/Cap rule.
December 23rd — Saturn Square’s Uranus
This time brings restrictive change or unexpected changes. Can be a frustrating time when these two outer planets are at odds. Stay open minded. Stay patient and flexible, what may seem like a challenge at first might actually be an opportunity cloaked as a ‘headache’. Use this time to rid yourself of things that are limiting you in life. Delete those numbers. Mute/block/restrict/unfollow whoever you have to. You may also realize what bad habits or outdated belief systems are blocking your forward progression. Don’t force change- just try to adapt. This time in particular isn’t the time to overreact to or resist things that come at you. Creativity may also feel blocked at this time so utilize a well-thought out, methodical and calculated approach to things.
December 25th — Venus Conjunct Pluto
Merry Christmas to those who celebrate! During what should be a merry time, we have Venus retrograde in Capricorn conjuncting transformative Pluto for the third and final time [there will also be a conjunction between these two planets on Dec 3rd and 11th.] Those of you with this natal placement might know exactly what to expect >:). For the rest of you, expect intense and obsessive feelings to come to the forefront, especially in matters regarding love. There can be a strong boost in the sex drive but some clinginess and possessiveness as well coming from or being projected onto you. Exes may come back confessing their wrongs or an old flame who may not have graduated to significant other may contact you for some cold hard lovin’. Choice is yours.
December 28th — Jupiter in Pisces
Jupiter in it’s home sign of Pisces [Yes, I said that right- Jupiter is the ancient ruler of the fishes] will bring good luck and opportunities through creativity, intuition and compassionate energy. Random acts of charity could come back to you ten-fold. Pay it forward at the coffee shop or give that homeless man on the turnpike the other-half of your sandwich. ‘Tis the season, you know? Idealism, and tenderness will be rewarded richly. Plus, Altruism is good for the complexion ;).
December 30th — Mercury Conjunct Pluto
Time for deep talks. Those topics you’d never though you’d be able to discuss with anyone. Serious topics while at the same time getting to the bottom of what really fuels you and what your goals are. Why you’re ambitious about what you’re ambitious about and all that that implies. This is also a good time for detective work as these two planets fusing together energetically are the stalker investigative placement, lol. Just be curious, not invasive ;).

Well, it's that time of year again that we huddle around the fire (or monitor, or LED smart light, or overheating resistor) with the people* we care about, snack on preserved foods and yell at the dark.
So if there's anyone reading this (mostly pornbots it seems, an indicator species showing that Tumblr is healthy, right?), have a great solstice. It may seem dark tonight, but it gets lighter from here.
*animals are absolutely included within the term 'people'
Ok Tumblr it's your Elder here to remind you that yes, the Northern Hemisphere nights are dark and the cold is getting into your bones and maybe you think everything's going to keep getting worse forever and you'll just get older and older until everyone and everything you love is dead: but you're only partly right.
Because yes sure we are all gonna die but in the meantime and maybe even because of that, there's joy. Even if it's only a bird half glimpsed from a moving vehicle, even if it's only the warmth in a cup of coffee, even if it's only the memory of someone who adored you as whole-chestedly and unconditionally as you deserve to be adored, joy is real in the world.
And tomorrow morning as I write this, the sun will shine along the passage at Newgrange and the sun daggers will frame the petroglyph in Chaco Canyon, and that is evidence that the long slow celestial mechanics of reversion to the mean will pull us inexorably back to springtime and the first green things growing out of the earth. The elders before me built these monuments to remind me to remind you that the sun will return.
And in the meantime let's hold hands in the dark. Let's tell the bleakest jokes we can think of at funerals to try and get the bereaved to laugh. Let's hug each other to coregulate our tender nervous systems that are trying so hard to keep us safe and alive. Let's watch how fast the efficiency of solar power is overtaking that of fossil fuels (effectively free energy by 2035: let's live to see it.) Let's revel in gods like pigeons and coyotes that can learn to coexist with humans.
Let's remember that there are more ordinary people of goodwill than we can possibly imagine: people who observe stop signs and pull over to let fire engines pass and who pay their fucking taxes and never cross pocket lines: normal working people who are kind to animals and who love all children and who feel solidarity across race and class and gender lines. Let's be those people and raise our children of blood and choice to be those people, the infrastructure of the world, the sunbeams shining into the dark.

Solstice and Timber!
As of now I’m slowly coming up with a story for these two and incorporating them into another project of mine. To put it simply, Timber is a parental figure to Solstice and as of now they basically wander the snowy woods they live in/nearby.
These two were originally designed by my good friend @nijiomii and I can’t thank him enough for letting me adopt them uwu
Litha ☀️
In the Northern Hemisphere, this year Litha is on June 24th. In the Southern Hemisphere, Litha is on December 21st.
This season’s holiday theme centers around the summertime, the ocean, and mostly masculine energies. Probably the most recognized holiday that shares this time would be Father’s Day. It also falls during National Men’s Health Week and International Men’s Month. This is also known as Finally Summer Day, which doesn’t always fall on the first day of Summer, but the spirit is felt. In Nome, Alaska, they have a Polar Bear Swim, which also coincides with International Surfing Day, Mermaid Day, and Aquarium Month. In honor of the God and Goddess becoming parents, it is Prepare Tomorrow’s Parents Month. We also celebrate Tall Girl Appreciation Day because it is the Longest Day of the year. Once you get the feeling of the season, all of the holidays seem more than just appropriate.
It is now Summer, and Litha brings all the beauty and warmth that comes with the season change. Nature is bursting with life. Animals and plants are flourishing. In a very appropriate fashion, we celebrate the strength of the Sun, and with it the Sun King, with fire. This life and heat beckons a plentiful harvest and meat for the winter that will come. The God is at his strongest, but so is the Goddess. They have been married, and are now expecting. As her pregnancy grows, so does the natural world around her, and it all feeds from the light of the Sun.
Decorating for Litha is all about being bright and warm. There should be suns and symbols for the sun everywhere. It’s summer, so everything is sunshiney and beachy. Don’t be afraid to go crazy with colors like green (for nature), yellow, orange, and red (for the sun), and blue (for the sky). Think of strong animals like bulls and lions, but also bees and butterflies that you’d see in your garden. Bring the ocean into your home with mermaids, seashells, and sand if you aren’t afraid of getting it everywhere. Then at night, don’t forget to light a big bonfire to honor the heat from the Sun God.
