people always recommending Shows online. And even my friends r like “ooooh you reallyyy need to watch The Boys” or something. And I never do. I say I will but i won’t because I don’t really watch TV or streaming services. The only time i’ve watched a show because of a rec is because I saw so much Hilson content online and was like FUCK i have to watch House.
All this is to say that I started watching Night Court last night bc it was On and I was locked tf in. It’s so tropey its like the television equivalent of corn-dogs slathered with Kraft singles it goes so hard
I think what I like so much about sitcoms is that the characters are annoying and embarrassing, but the story is ultimately kind to them. They are weird and gross and sometimes insufferable. They’re corny and earnest and often misguided. But good things happen to them anyway, and their people love them so much.
