Being sick is an Excuse: Episode 6
He hated when I took time off work when I was sick. (As a side, he is ABSOLUTELY the asshole who goes to work sick as fuck, not caring who he spreads it to. And no, he’s definitely not living paycheque to paycheque).
On one occasion I was feeling particularly bad. He threatened that I better not take a sick day. So I “got ready for work”, left, called into the office, and then went to the doctor’s. After getting my script, I found a parking lot far away from our place where I was sure he wouldn’t find me and tried to sleep until he left for his afternoon shift. I jumped any time my phone made a noise because I was terrified he would find out I wasn’t at work.
For the record, I had a handful of paid sick days. There was no reason for me to have to go.
I’m in a healthy relationship now, and this is absolutely fucking ludicrous.

What Donnie does if he sees you not feeling very well with an upset stomach feeling bloated:
Donnie would realize you haven't come to the lair to see him for your daily fun activities together for a few days. so he goes to your apartment to check up on you. As he enters the bedroom from the window, he would hear you moaning in pain and breathing heavily. It breaks his precious terrapin heart seeing you in bed feeling ill. He would sit down on your bed and gently rub your leg. "What's wrong my precious pop tart? You don't look so good." You look up at him and you spoke in a weak tone. "My stomach.....it feels bloated and it aches....I tried taking bepto bismol, but it won't help much....I went to a family party a few days ago, and I ate too much...." this gives Donnie the opportunity to play doctor with you. He knows powdered laxatives and tea laxatives would make you feel too much pain and he doesn't want to see that. So he hatched an idea. "I'll be right back my little pumpkin. I'll make ya something that'll make ya go to the bathroom much more smoothly. I'll be back soon okay?" You nod, and he runs back to the lair. At his lab, he decides to make a liquid laxative that won't cause any stomach pain, and would help you relief your bloating as you take a number 2 at ease. He carefully adds the ingredients, and successfully finished right on time in just 30 minutes. He rushes back with the soft laxative, and pours it in a glass of water. "Here. This should help ya out with your achey tummy." He smiles as you drank it. It had a fruity after taste as you swallowed. He then goes to grab a heating blanket to keep you warm, and since you live alone, he decides to spend the night with you. He puts on an old romantic film and cuddles with you as you both watch the film. He would give you sweet kisses on your cheeks and snuggle you like a teddy bear because he loves and cares fo you dearly. The laxative would kick in making you go to the bathroom easily. As time went on overnight, your bloating started to slowly go away. You thanked him as he spoke. "Whenever you are sick, let doctor Donnie take care of ya from now on. And next time, please don't over eat. I don't want my precious pop tart to get sick." You smile at your terrapin hubby and you both snuggle together and watch the film and headed to sleep as the movie ended, until the next day when he has to go back to his family. Every day, Donnie would check up on your health and bring the first aid kit when you get injured, and would make sure you always get home safely. Sometimes he would even drive you home late at night despite of him always being the only one awake. He will always want to take care of you and he sees you like a walking talking pop tart wanting to be accepted and loved just like he does. But at least he is glad he has someone like you in his life and hopefully would want to have a bright future with you as well.

Da boys when they are sick, and you want to take care of them (I have a really bad cold myself, so I decided to write this. Enjoy!)🤒🤧🥰:
Leo would try to fight his sickness as much as possible by drinking his teas and training, but nothing works. You always want to have him lay down on his bed, but he would always insist he is fine trying to hide his nasally voice from a stuffy nose and constant sniffling and coughing. You make him lay down in his bed, keep him warm, and give him soup dumplings to eat. You help sharpen his weapons, and take care of his plants as he lays back reading a book or watching his favorite Japanese martial art shows. He wished he didn't have to lay down due to his own sickness, but he would understand his well being and getting better is what matters the most. He understands that you care because all couples should take care of each other no matter the thing may be.
Big red Raph would get angry, but can't yell due to having a scratchy really bad sore throat, clogged sinuses, and crazy coughing. You assist the big brute to lay down and get rest. You give him some stuff to do that doesn't involve working at his gym. You make him use a neti pot to unclog those terrapin nostrils of his, and he describes it as unbearable because he feels the water go up in his nose almost feels like a drowning sensation. You give him some warm milk with honey to help with his throat, and give him broccoli and cheese soup with soft bread, and sometimes you would catch him watching either Anime hentai DVD's, or Tele Novela soap operas with English subtitles so he can understand the plot of each episode. He would complain as he watches it while speaking Spanish poorly like "come on! Go to Roberto por favor! Fuck that Ernesto guy! He was an asshole since episode five!! Roberto is your amor!! Andale God dammit!!" You couldn't help but laugh, but at least raph is glad to have a woman like you in his life.
Oh Don bon. How can this grapefruit of a sweetheart get sick? Well, he would get a runny nose, awful sneezing, and fatigue. You unplug his monitors as you see him look at you with a runny nose. You drag his tall scaley ass to his bed, and you give him a humidifier to help with his nose, some Nyquil to help him sleep to get better, since he barely sleeps so he is going to need it. Lol! And some chamomile tea with lemon, and hazelnut soup to eat. You would let him watch his favorite science shows about discoveries of space and mysterious mummies and tombs with artifacts, and reading a book on Stephen Hawking. He also would watch opera shows on television and hum to the melodies with a smile. Despite of being sick, he loves his human girlfriend. You always care about his health and let his body recover until he can get back to doing things in his lab of course. If you get sick yourself, he would obviously would take good care of you.
Mikey boo. The poor baby having the sniffles. Bad cough, itchy throat, stuffy nose, and terrible loud sneezes. Of course he would be in bed right off the bat with no problem at all. You would of course give him warm strawberry milk, have him garggle some salt and water to help numb that awful itchy throat, and some pizza soup to eat. Of course he would beg for dessert, so your best bet would be mexican rice pudding, or chocolate pudding. Either or would make him happy. In terms of activities, playing board games, video games, reading comic books, and even watching movies always would help him keep himself occupied. A humidifier would be used overnight as he rests too. Mikey adores you ever since you both first met. He would never forget the kindness you give to a mutant turtle like him.
