He could Sean his Bean in- He could- Anytime-
I am a lesbian... But... I'd risk everything for him
Ohohoh you thought I was in obscure territory before, but I watched Stormy Monday last week, and I LOVED it
He was 28 for this role and when he first appeared onscreen I literally yelled "it's a BABY."
I didn't know anything about this film before watching besides the fact that it was a crime thriller and starred Sting and Tommy Lee Jones, so I was caught off-guard by how gentle and human and SOFT Sean's character Brendan was. It felt like a Sean Bean origin story, where he's just some kid who wants to take the cute waitress out on a date and winds up in messy crosshairs. And the film overall was so evocative and aesthetic; it felt like there was a really rich creative concept for it and absolutely everybody on cast and crew understood it. But mostly, it's about late-80s Sean Bean as a shy music nerd in a rolled-sleeve crewneck tee, faded jeans, scuffed high tops, and a little EARRING, that's it, that's the plot.
Happy Birthday to Sean Bean.
