H20: Just add water themed AU
So I had an idea that’s heavily inspired by the H20: Just Add Water show for an idea.
So, few months after the second movie, Emmet Lucy and Rex decide to go on a vacation together at a Hawaiian themed place where it’s nice, warm and ocean. They get a nice beach house and everything. Then they come across some thunk heads who get under Lucy and Rex’s skin, they both at this point don’t get along well, and they dare them to go to an island by the beach house and go into a cave that is rumored to be creepy
So the three go, which emmet tries to persuade them not to but gets dragged along, and they go to the island and find the cave the guy was talking about, and the full moon comes out and shines over the cave which has a nice pool in it. The moon shimmers over the water and Lucy, Rex and later emmet, decide to swim in it since it looks pretty. The next day after they go back to the house, they find out that if they touch water, they turn into mermaids until they get dried up.
And not only that, they each have powers. Lucy can freeze things, Rex can heat things up or steam them, which comes in handy whenever they accidentally turn into mermaids by water. And emmet can lift or move water, kinda like a water balloon only without the balloon. Emmet can also make the water pipes burst or can turn water on or off with hand movements as well.
When they find out of their mermaid abilities,Rex and Lucy pretty much embrace it since they’re active people and like to swim and keep moving and it’s what makes them learn to get along and become fond of each other since they would often fight and get in each other’s way, which would overwhelm Emmet.
Emmet on the other hand is sorta frightened and doesn’t want to embrace this since 1) he wasn’t a good swimmer to begin with and doesn’t like Being in water all that much and 2) he’s body conscious and always wears a t shirt when he swims, including in his mermaid form
The three decide to keep this secret to not attract attention of any kind to them or the island since it could be magical and the last thing they’d want is everyone turning into mermaids.
(Also Sorry this was half assed explained, I told majority of this to someone in text and just decided to put it all in here as well cuz hey I can’t keep creativity and imagination all bottled up)

Lego movie AU where Rex decides not to go through with the plan. He just let's Lucy stop Emmet.
He doesn't know why he didn't do it. But, something about just being around Lucy and Emmet. He can't explain it but he feels...not alone. Like they actually care about him.
Rex is now happily married to the them. He hasn't let them know about his past...he can never let them find out.

I made this
I made this for my art class, the teacher told us to make a drawing (it depended on each person's creativity) and we had to "fill it" with clay or moldable foam, so I made a picture of Bonnie and Rex :]
This is my first time using clay, so it looks kinda ugly 😭
