since clover is starlo's kid, how does solomon and crestina feel about being grandparents and how does orion feel about being an uncle?
Oh, Starlo's parents absolutely adore Clover, no questions asked. They don't mind at all that Clover is a human! That's their son's child, and thus, that makes Clover their grandchild. Clover is absolutely spoiled by them and they love whenever Starlo brings them over to visit. Clover has lots of sleepovers at the farm house growing up! Having grandparents is something they've never experienced before on the surface, but they adore their new grandpa and grandma.
I HC that Crestina and Solomon (based on Crestina's dialogue if you speak to her in their farm house) were kind of nudging their sons to settle down with a spouse/kids. They weren't too harsh or pushy about it, but you know Starlo gets a few comments over it from his mother. The fact that they're so relieved to finally have a grandchild is a little embarrassing for Starlo.
Orion acts disinterested at first. He doesn't really want to get involved with being an uncle when he already has farm work to deal with. But despite that, he warms up to Clover really quickly (partially because Starlo threatens to kick his ass if his brother is mean to his kid). Even if he doesn't show it that often, he really likes having a nibling. He tells Clover all of Starlo's embarrassing teen stories to get back at his brother, and Clover is one of the few people he truly enjoys the company of. I imagine they get even closer when Clover's older.
So overall, Clover's absolutely been accepted and adopted into the Sunnyside family! They love Starlo's funny little human baby.

Some favorite moments from the end credits:
Star reassures Ceroba that it's all right. Clover sacrificed themself for a reason, and they must follow through.
Dalv got his organ concert.
Doing well for himself.
New life in the Dunes.
A few changes to the town, and some of its inhabitants.
They do make a lovely couple.
She hasn't forgotten him.
A little thought I had of Starlo being nervous to return home and Orion being a helpful brother

Orion and Starlo! ✨🌟 Starbros be resting after doing some farm work 😌
uncultured big brother
Pretty accurate depiction of having siblings tbh
Can we talk about Starlo's family cause like. How can everyone in that house be so damn pretty
Reference page 2!
So so basically their personalities are just about the same with minimal changes to make them fit into their roles better
-Martlet gives Starlo puzzle lessons instead of cooking because they both suck at it and would rather eat store-bought ramen
-Orion works at like 3 jobs and the farm at the same time, somebody needs to pay the bills of their stupidly big house in Snowdin (buying it was Starlo's idea)
-Martlet will have a zenith form, but instead of injecting herself with fucked-up-soul-juice, she uses her own determination! (She will melt.)
-Despite being swapped with Undyne and Alphys, Martlet and Dalv have a gay-lesbian friendship instead of crushing on each other
-Martlet is still scatterbrained, just less stupid and a bit more stoic
-When Martlet was younger she challenged Chujin to a fight but couldn't even hit him once. After seeing her so upset, Chujin decided to train her and eventually promoted her to head of the royal guard. (He also gave her carpentry lessons)
-When in her daily clothes, Martlet tucks in her wings so her arms can fit into her clothes (nobody understands how she does it)
orion’s belt (i hope you find what you’re looking for)
i love drawing background characters. especially if they are named after constellations. and if they have constellations that are extensions of those constellations
If Starlo and Ceroba become grandparents when Clover adopts Frisk, how excited are the Sunnysides to be great grandparents?
They were beyond excited and extremely accepting and eager (to an almost comical degree) to have another kid in the family to spoil and love! It probably was Orion who was like "Wait. Great grandkid? What're you talkin' about-" for them to actually question why and how Frisk appeared, LOL. They love Clover but they've missed having younger kids around, so of course they latch onto Frisk and give them lots of grandparent love in the time Frisk spends with Clover's family!
Oh no pressure or rush or anything, but I would LOVE to hear your thoughts on Starlo's family and his relationship with them because truly no one talks about them despite Starlo being the fandom's darling, even though I find the way his family feels about him and the Wild East fascinating 👀
writing this at 3 in the morning sorry if it SUCKKKS lol
YEA YEAHHHHHH I love how each of them have their own unique perspective on star n the wild east.. though I do think there’s a pretty depressing through line that.. they kinda look down on what he does in one way or another
ok so. orions the most blatant abt it. he’s condescending as fuck towards clover after assuming they’re from the wild east. and it’s more him projecting his jealousy n resentment of stars life than anything else, seeing himself as the one burdened with “real” responsibilities
crestina is a bit more subtle, seeing the whole thing as something he needs to overcome so he can live a “proper” life (probably expecting him to follow in her and her husbands footsteps)
Solomon is the only one who really acknowledges the wild east in a positive light, but even then it’s bc he’s able to justify it as starlo using it to save their farm (even tho afaik there’s really no hard evidence that was his intention)
i see a lot of people joking about how weird it is that star never talks to his family when they live like. 3 ingame rooms across from his town but honestly? I can totally understand why. his family does love him (just look at how devastated they are when he “goes missing” in neutral) but they don’t seem to really consider that this life he’s built for himself is how he finds fulfilment and feels happy about who he is. like. every time kid star is talked about before he found those westerns he’s anxious at best and miserable at worst, they should all know star wasn’t happy living this life
I do like that we see them all setting up for the markets w/ the wild east residents in the pacifist credits: the implication that they’ve come to terms with who starlo is, no longer looking down on his accomplishments, and r finding a middle ground w him. joyous. more people should talk about these guys I love them
If you're wondering how I draw Orion:
I like to think of him as the repairman of the Sunnyside farm and ever since Starlo left to do his own thing and pretend to be a sheriff with his posse, all his work went to Orion and he carries a grudge against Starlo because of that.
Which also explains his asshole behavior cuz man if my brother dipped and all his work got dumped on me just to be a theatre kid I'd be mad as hell HAHAHAHA
This is what I mean when I say his head sprouts when he gets older
God he is so fine tho ahaha what
You're the older sibling, you're not supposed to show weakness.
