I don’t know guys. I’m bored.
~Yato tends to push off his illness if he thinks it’ll inconvenience either himself or anyone around him, (which happens all the time, because he always has things to do.) But once he’s finally reached his limit of hiding it, he’s a whining and complaining nightmare. He makes it hard for people to want to take care of them, wishing he’d kept it to himself a little longer.
~Yukine gets very grumpy when he doesn’t feel well. Since Yato isn’t able to sense when the regalia is sick, he can always depend on the sudden outbursts of anger and bad attitude aimed at him. Even while resting, Yukine doesn’t want Yato, or anyone for that matter, near him. He feels disgusting and vulnerable. No one needs to see that.
~Kazuma is a blessed vessel. He can’t just “take the day off” and spend it lying in his warm, soft, welcoming, bed… Veena needs him to be on guard at all times just in case anyone decides to penetrate the shrine. He can hold out just a little longer…
~Daikoku knows when his body is used up to its limit. He understands that he’s no help to Lady Kofuku if he’s ill, so he might as well take a day off and rest up as much as possible. He tries not to be around the god in fear of getting her sick as well.

I think I need to go to bed, because I'm tearing up thinking about Stan laying in a hammock in the yard of the Mystery Shack on a warm summer's day, just having an old man nap in the afternoon with his fez blocking the sun from his eyes, and Dipper and Mabel quietly sneaking over to climb into the hammock with him. Mabel climbs in on one side and snuggles up against his arm, while Dipper settles on the other with a book, which ends up open on his chest when he falls asleep with them.
