Can we have a Janus protecting frog Patton from a crane? (Possible heart eyes from Patton? If you're not comfortable with Moceit, never mind that, just want my shifty boyos having a Moment)

I like Moceit! It's a nice dynamic, and I love the idea of them getting habits from the other, like Janus being more cuddly or something and Patton getting more sarcastic XD

Btw, this is a Great blue heron. I have no idea if that's actually a crane or if google lied to me, but they have amazing eyebrows so I had to draw them

You said you liked them taking on some qualities from the other, can you draw a "hold my flower" moment between moceit in relation to that? (I hope you know that meme) or even Angy!Patton getting snek cuddles while he tears apart someone's point? Just need some Patton Fighting Someone and soft Janus supporting him in my life please

I need more of that in my life too XD The more soft snek and angy Patton that isn't straight up unsympathetic, the better! XD

Genre: hurt comfort

Summary: Patton gets lost in a weird land. It hurts and everything seems out to get him. Familiar faces were painfully different. 

Warnings: Deceit isn’t bad, as in he literally doesn’t do anything bad. Death mentioned. body changes? suffocation. 

Patton looked up. The sky was a peculiar light purple. A lilac purple. There were a few pink clouds that drifted across the pale sky, they looked like cotton candy. He blinked a few times and slowly sat up, his eyes remained glued on one of the clouds that looked like a pirate ship. He couldn’t remember a sky like this. The sky certainly wasn’t normal. Maybe he’d stumbled into Roman’s world of imagination… that was probably it… Right?

The world around him was very pretty, there was some woods around the clearing he was sat in and a green coloured pond next to him. Fish swam in the greenish water, under the reeds and lily pads, they were bigger than Patton ever thought possible. The grass was unnaturally soft and red under his fingers as the cold breeze tickled his skin and brushed his hair against his forehead.

His legs were unsteady as he pushed himself to his feet. His legs ached and trembled under his weight. He let out a deep breath and wiped the grass from his khaki pants. He was glad that he at least had his usual clothes on him. His light blue polo was clean and pristine, although his cat hoodie had red stains down the back from the grass. He combed back his hair and straightened up his glasses.

V & D- * hanging out in Dee's room after Patton and Roman said they should get along more *

V & D- Taco bell. Jinx! You owe me-

D- A kiss on the lips~

V- * tries to turn tail and run *

D- * swoops over to lock his room *

D- You're not going ANYWHERE, Virgil~~~

Anxceit 3:

V - * cat head rubs Logan's arm *

D- ???

P- Oh, he just does that with everyone he likes.

D- !

V- * comes over and cat head rubs Patton's chest *

D- * getting excited for his turn *

V- * turns to Dee * Oh. Hello, Deceit. * struts off towards Roman *

D- * proceeds to pout for the rest of the day *

Moceit:

P & D- * talking about Dee's good points to try and get the other sides to like him *

D- Yeah, so I was valedictorian~

P- Valedictorian!

D- And, I-

P- Got a monster cock!!

D- * spluttering * Wah, pAtToN!

P- Show them!!!

P- Go ahead, buddy.

D- * hissed whisper * When did you even SEE it?

P- What, your cockatrice Beatrix? Well, I was in your room the other day-

Sanders Sides Fantasy Ships AUs Ideas!

Moxiety 1- A werewolf Patton who befriends Virgil who he believes is a werewolf as well but is actually an Aswang (vampiric shapeshifter) with a black dog form.

Moxiety 2- Gentle Giant Elf! Patton meets an Angry, Dwarf Orc! Virgil while out on patrol near the borders of their territories. The two misfits form an unlikely bond despite being from warring species.

Roceit 1- Gorgon!Deceit, servant of Athena(snakes on head instead of hair, small tusks, bat wings, claws, lower half snake) VS Empusa!Roman, servant of Hecate(flaming hair, one gold leg and the other one a deer leg, vampiric fangs, fiery wings). They first meet at a council of the Greek gods and goddesses while attending to their respective masters, who coincidentally are good friends with each other and decide to play matchmaker for their servants.

Roceit 2- Manticore! Roman versus Sphinx! Deceit, who are both being made to fill in for the Griffins who normally guard the temple of knowledge.

Analogical 1- Both are artificially created/man made 'humans' from the same lab. Logan, an android (called Log-In) VS Virgil, a golem/Frankenstein's monster (called Sigil).  But Virgil's a lot smarter than most of the scientists give him credit for and Logan is basically the only one in the lab that acknowledges his capabilities.

Analogical 2- Stormy Mother Nature! Virgil and Studious Father Time! Logan who look after the lesser spirits together but never really talked to each other for all that long until now.

Demus 1- Suave, Vampire! Deceit versus Bumbling, Zombie! Remus who both find each other when they’re complaining at a supernaturally inclined bar about the pains of trying to be abstinent from feeding so they don't ‘scare the other creatures’. Turns out Remus doesn’t have blood for Deceit to thirst over and Deceit’s flesh is too cold for Remus to hunger over. A match made in heaven! Or hell, depending on which bar patron you happen to be asking. (Bonus: They adopt a Ghoul kid together aka little Virgil.)

Demus 2- AU where Deceit is a dragon that normally kidnaps prince Roman, who most of the time ends up just saving himself. But one day he accidentally kidnaps prince Roman's twin brother, Remus, instead. He proceeds to be perpetually confused that Remus seems to not want to escape at all and is rather enthused by the prospect of having a gigantic beast as a self proclaimed new friend.

Logince 1- Real magic, in hiding warlock Logan VS fake magic, famous magician Roman. They keep trying to one up each other and also expose each other.

Logince 2- Fairy Prince! Roman meets Royal Diplomat Mer! Logan at a meeting between the all of the world’s different mythological animals. Cue the saying about the Fish falling in love the Bird.

Anxceit 1- Deceit, a Crossroads demon, keeps constantly competing with and antagonizing Virgil, a Nightmare demon, despite them being in completely different departments of Hell. Now, they have been assigned by one of the Archdemons(Remy?) to team up with/work together in order to investigate rumors of Angels(The other sides?) sneaking into Hell.

Anxceit 2- Yin yang, opposing forces AU with Tiger! Virgil and Dragon! Deceit. They rule over two different sides of animal based yokai.

Prinxiety 1- Gargoyle!Virgil and Vampire!Roman who can both only meet each other at night. First met when Roman was fleeing hunters and ended up nesting on Virgil's statue for the day (not knowing it was a living creature lol).

Prinxiety 2- Elegant, Fire Kitsune! Roman versus Fierce, Storm Raiju! Virgil. They keep accidentally crosses paths with each other while doing their respect jobs of cursing humans(Roman) and creating storms(Virgil).

Dukexiety- Misunderstood, Grim Reaper! Virgil versus Chaos Bringing, Lich! Remus. Remus keeps resurrecting people just so Virgil will have to come see him in order to take their souls back.

Royality- Swan Maiden! Roman, who’s been forced into many marriages before but has always daringly escaped, ends up helping a Selkie! Patton who’s never had his skin stolen before now. They first meet each other when the same powerful and influential man captures both their pelts and immediately form a shaky alliance to find a way out of it.

Loceit- Logan, a secret agent tasked to track down and capture aliens VS Deceit, a lizard person slowly but surely making his way in this new world.

 Intrulogical- Forest Guardian, Centaur! Logan verses Trickster of Humans, Satyr! Remus. Logan keeps finding Remus pestering different mortals and having to talk him down each time.

Moraliety- Kelpie!Deceit and Unicorn!Patton. They're both being hunted by a prince wishing to prove himself to his harsh father(Roman?).

Disney Based Sanders Sides Ships AUs Ideas!

Part 2 because the previous post was getting long.

❥ Prinxiety Maleficent AU with dragon Deceit accidentally adopting prince Virgil despite being his kingdom's enemy and Roman being the neighborhood kingdom's prince who falls for Virgil when he hears him singing in the woods. Virgil likes singing to nocturnal creatures like owls, bats, etc. He thinks they're misunderstood, like his adopted dad. 

❥ Fox and the Hound Dukexiety AU but it's with Nogitsune Virgil and Tanuki Remus who are from rival yokai Japanese student delinquent gangs/yakuza: The Fox Clan versus the Hound Dogs. They fall in love anyways cause screw old family rivalries that no one even remembers how they got started in the first place lol.

❥ Loceit How to Build a Better Boy AU where Deceit accidentally tells a bully he has a boyfriend already so his hacker best friend Virgil hijacks a government experiment and programs the perfect robotic boyfriend for Dee- enter suspiciously perfect new student Logan.

❥ Beauty and the Beast Intrulogical AU but with ancient Duke turned Eldritch Abomination Remus and Paranormal Scientist Logan who's trying to prove himself to the other scientists who ridicule his work. (Also the Gaston is a famous TV paranormal investigator who's actually a big fraud who wants Logan to team up with him.)

❥ Moraliety Snow White AU where Deceit is the assassin known to have many faces whose sent to kill prince Patton so the queen can drink his blood to continue being the fairest in the land. But upon meeting the absolute sweetheart, he instead swears to rip out the queen's heart and deliver it to Patton instead. (Patton appreciates the sentiment but really wishes he just wouldn't kill anyone anymore.) Together, along with some woodland friends, they dismantle the monarchy.

❥ Little mermaid Intruality AU where instead of being the daughter of Triton, Remus is the son of Ursula. (He's half brothers or cousins with Roman, who is a son of Triton.) And Patton is the prince of the nearest kingdom who is starting an organization to rescue wild life because he adores animals. After a fight with Triton's many kids, he gets stuck in plain octopus form and is rescued by Patton. Later, when Patton's ship gets caught in a storm, he decides to return the favor...

So now that Patton is a frog, how about Princess and the Frog AUs with his ships. 👀

Patton: Aaaand, There! This is the circle of lying. Your job is to make sure all of your lies stay inside of it.

Deceit: So...you want me to just stand here?

Patton: Hey, it's not my place to tell me how to do your job. Just make sure that you keep all the lies...*moves paw (or foot, whatever) inside the circle* stay in the circle! See? You're pro at this? Isn't this fun?

Deceit: Yes. (No.)

Patton: Attaboy.

I call this piece: “Patton Tops and There’s Nothing You Can Do About It”

Hi, this’ll be my first post so bare with me. I’ve never been one to actually post on different social medias and I’m newer to Tumblr too, so if I sound too serious or off that’s probably why. Anyway, to my point;

I am probably going to post a lot of theories or deep dives into different characters from different fandoms and this will be my first! So, here’s a deep dive into Virgil from Sanders Sides; (Spoiler warnings ahead for like EVERY episode)

Let me know if you agree, disagree, or just your thoughts on this if you can, I would like to hear them! I think it would be interesting.

Janus was talking in todays (05/25/24) video, it made me realize that Virgil could’ve left because he wanted someone to be honest with him and show him sincerity, both things Janus hated, and every secret Virgil had would be used against him, his own name was, and that’s why he was afraid to say his name to everyone and now he’s probably realizing Pattons going down the same path he walked, and he’s trying to help his friend but there’s no use. He became closer with Roman because he showed him honesty, he was mean but apologized for his actions and showed him who he is, good and bad, and showed him sincerity when he pushed Thomas to talk to Nico. Virgil showed Roman he was because he was less scared, Roman had shown him who he is and so he will do so too, the purple eyeshadow. In the cheering up episode he was showing things to Roman that he liked, something he didn’t do with everyone because he was afraid of it being used against him, and in the gifting episode he heard Janus against Roman and got angry at Janus because Roman is his friend, someone he can finally trust, someone who won’t use it against him (Janus) or tease him (Remus, DWIT) and he and Roman have a bond where they can tease eachother or make jokes but know they’re jokes because they have trust. Virgil probably realizes that the dollar bill with Roman was special because Romans afraid of Failure and hes feeling like he fails with all his friends who are turning on him, so to give him something personal, or as Janus put it, ploy to his ego, it helps with his insecurity that he’s not significant, Virgil gets that because he had to loose everything he knew to gain what he has now, which is scary and puts you at the bottom of a pit you have to climb out of.

If someone said to you, “I’m not angry” but looked super angry wouldn’t that make you upset? Or if you showed something to them and they said “I really like it” when they have a look of disgust on their face. This is something I feel Janus would do from his mannerisms in the newer videos with Remus.

I think that Janus is someone who can be easily trusted at first, the one you feel finally understands you or is finally nice to you but as you go on with being friends you realize it was all a lie, the relationship’s foundation was built on lies. Remus doesn’t care, nor has he left Janus so their friends. Virgil cared, and left, so Janus is angry at him and uses everything against him- maybe he did it before too. Maybe Virgil saw how the others acted towards him and changed his original motive, sometimes when you see something doesn’t have to be a certain way, you don’t want it to be a certain way. Example being, you can cut the grass with scissors but if you find that tedious or don’t like it, change what you’re doing, make it easier, make it nicer for yourself. Same goes with being around people, you don’t have to be around people who make you upset, or you realize make you upset, because that’s all you know. It’s scary, so scary from experience but when you’re on the other side it’s clearer, nicer, happier— and the fact that Virgil can trust someone so much now that he can finally show them something he likes or the purple eyeshadow is just showing how much better he is, even if it might seem like he’s walking backwards, he’s not, he’s in the clear for the most part.

Virgil is only “going backwards” with saying he’s like the cousin, I don’t think that means he wishes he was back there, I think he means that’s where he’s from, that’s what he knows more, he doesn’t exactly feel like a light side probably, so he’ll assume he just still feels like a dark side. He’s probably afraid that his relationship with Patton is deteriorating over Janus, he’s afraid Patton’s mad at him because of the “I’m not mad at you” but looks upset thing that probably happened with Janus.( I’ve had people do this and it does affect me like that so that’s why I’m saying this) But Virgil would rather protect Patton from him and have Patton dislike him than to stand back and let it happen I’m guessing- I could be wrong though. And, in the video where Janus and Patton are in the woods it’s noted that Janus doesn’t share much about himself to Patton, he might not want people to do what he does in turn.

Maybe that’s why Janus doesn’t like Roman, because he is mean to those he doesn’t trust and then once they know each-other is nice, and trusting and sincere. He doesn’t like him because he didn’t trust him without batting an eye, he realized what road he was on at the start and it crumbled a lot faster than anyone around hims did- immediate, or almost immediate distrust made Janus not like him since there isn’t much to use, just ploys to an ego and that is all. Roman is sincere towards Virgil and Virgil likes that, Janus could be angry that his friend is with someone new and angry at that friend. Janus can make all these remarks and they don’t matter until Roman speaks up and it’s Romans fault. Janus did what he did with Virgil to Roman, found what was important to him, an insecurity, and used it against him. Roman was quick to know the game, but he doesn’t know how to win the game.

All of this, or even some of it could be stuff that people have already realized and known, but I find it intriguing and interesting to think about dynamics and what goes on in peoples heads.
