CHOOSE YOUR TEAM
Imagine being in the MFB universe, like 90% of the kids/teens of this World you possess a bey of your own that you carry on you everyday and everywhere. You just can’t leave your house without your bey. This bey is not only a piece of plastic and metal, it is a part of you.
I’ve seen several characters in the show having their bey container at different places on them.
➤The most common place for bladers to keep their bey is on their belt, on their waist/hips. They mainly keep their bey on the back of their body or on the sides, but I’ve never seen a blader having it on the front.
#TEAM_BELT
➤Otherwise there are bladers that carry their bey on the arm, like Tsubasa.
#TEAM_BICEPS
➤Another alternative that also involves the arm is on the forearm/wrist, like Ryuga.
#TEAM_FOREARM
➤Less intuitive place to carry the bey in on a (highly secured) briefcase, like Julian seems to do. It’s not directly on the blader’s body but this is another possibility and actually not the stupidest one.
#TEAM_BRIEFCASE
➤Even less intuitive than the briefcase, some bladers appear to carry their bey on their chest (Chris), like policeman do with their gun.
#TEAM_CHEST
➤Finally, the last case I’ve came across is to keep your bey in a hidden pocket or something like that in your sleeve.
#TEAM_SLEEVE
Of all characters, it could only be Yu doing this kind of stuff.
So the question is :
╭ ╮
⁂ Where would YOU keep your bey? ⁂
╰ ╯
On which team are you in?
If you have an idea different from the ones mentioned above, create your own team!

Personally, I’ve always wondered how bladers that have their stuff on their belt manage to properly sit down, must be so uncomfortable to feel the bey container and the launcher sinking in your skin and bones each time you want your back to lean on a chair’s backrest.
To keep my bey where Tsubasa keep his would made me anxious, his bey is so easily accessible, within everybody’s reach. I would be too scared to have someone trying to steal it.
For Ryuga his metal arm thingy is quite cool but having something there to contain one’s bey must be extremely inconvenient. Look I wear a watch and even if I’m careful I always end up but hitting it against furniture. If the same happens with a bey holder, I would break it in no time. So the forearm isn’t a good idea for me.
I think I’d rather have my bey container on my chest just like Chris. I think it is the most safe and handy place to have a bey. Safe because you have it close to you, you can hide it under piece of clothes and it’s a place not easily reachable for other people. Whereas it’s easy for YOU and YOU only to grab your bey. And you can still sit down without any problem.
My second option would be the briefcase I guess. I’m the kind of person to keep things I deeply care about in special containers and treat them as if they were the most precious treasure of the universe. But considering that the bey is the most precious thing in the MFB universe I would probably lock the briefcase as heavily as a bank strongbox and cuff my hand with the handle.
You’ll never guess what I finally did–

Hc that Kyoya sleeps a flipping ton. Like, when he’s not doing something, he’s usually drifting off. Because he’s a lion. And lions sleep. It helps keep Benkei on his toes because sometimes Kyoya unintentionally falling asleep leads to difficult situations.
i’m not gonna stop that’s who i am, i’ll give it all i got that is my plan, will i find what i lost you know you can
id really love to see more of that dragon spirit ryuuga au you made quite a while ago, i think it has a lot of potential !
ok sure
Since I drew this super fast and things might not be super clear, ryuga slapped kenta’s bow into the woods. This was also going to have more panels but eh.

I really like drawing characters in dnd : ))
I get that “Kishatu” is NOT Ryuga’s or Ryuto’s last name. I’ll still use it. Yes you may tell others that “Kishatu” is not the last name of the two and say they’re not related in canon. (They’re not, you may say it was confirmed in the manga but Takafumi, the creator said multiple time that they are not brothers at all. It was just their editor that made it look like it.)
Some of us KNOW that their last name is Not Kishatu or Kowalski. It is unknown to this day what Ryuga’s real last name is. Even so, I will still use Kishatu for my accounts and AUs related to Ryuga and Ryuto (since I’m not one to look up Japanese last names on google to see what would fit the two...or three if I’m talking about my AU here). So to the people out there who are telling others that “Kishatu” is not Ryuga’s or Ryuto’s Last name. Make sure first if the person actually knows of this knowledge. If they’re asking themselves then answer it with a good heart.
I also get that Ryuga is not alive in the anime as the animators may indeed actually killed him in the end and made Sakyo blab on about how he got his bey from Ryuga when he probably just got it from the WBBA. Though it does NOT make sense to why the anime made him disappear here and there and doesn’t explain how he got to Hades Inc. when he was on the cliff and the flying city was hundreds of miles away. I get he jumps pretty far but how far?! Beyblade Lore is hard to cooperate these days...
Even if the things spread around are not canon, you still have your imagination. Even if it’s not canon, you can make it canon to your own Alternate Universe. (AU) or Universes if you own more than one. Well, that’s enough for me. If you’re here to comment wether it’s commenting below or reblogging, try not to be a snotty user. Kay, Thanks and goodbye!
Second part of Metal Fury/4D in a nutshell
Kyouya, the Dark Power and character's development
Some says that Kyoya regresses a lot between Fusion and Masters (and accuse the Dark Power of it) but I disagree.
In Fusion, he’s being drawn in the whole fight against the Dark Nebula, and things went fast : he came to his senses after the Wolf Canyon, learnt of the Forbidden Bey’s existence (you know ? Kyouya Tategami, who didn’t believe in magic and thought it was nonsense until they went to the Dark Nebula Castle), then he went looking for Ginga.
Kyouya isn’t used to be around people who aren’t his lackeys. You can see it when he first travels with Benkei, Kenta and Madoka. He seemed out of place, not really knowing how to react. He let Benkei (after the Wolf Canyon) and Ginga (at Koma) take him into their arms. Some days later he decided he needed something called “personal space” and pushed away people when they are too near to him (like he did with Benkei).
After this, the Battle Bladers was announced. The whole group did their best to qualify and the Battle Bladers began. Kyouya had no time to think about the way he wanted to act with others. Between Fusion and Masters, he had (too much maybe) time to think and plan how he wants to behave with others and, especially, how he wants to behave as Ginga’s rival.
In season 1, he was so angry to have lost against he teamed up with the Dark Nebula (he kind of promise it, but nonetheless…). Then he came back with his worst behaviour ever (poor little town guy who didn’t imagine being in the wilderness was so hard xD). In next seasons, he only went away when he’s pissed off. It’s a great improvement !
Two other examples of improvement : - In season 1, he blames his Face Hunter after he lose against Ginga but, in season 2, he acknowledges the Wild Fang lose because of him, after Nile blamed himself (what he could have easily used). - In season 2, he refuses to be part of the Japanese Team, but in season 3, he decides to travel with the group, while no one asked him yet (it doesn’t end perfectly, but it was a good start).
Kyouya’s wish to defeat Ginga isn’t caused by the Dark Power. It was present since he met him in the first season : their first battle, the Wolf Canyon, his “rivalry” with Hyouma, the Battle Bladers (in particular the semi-final where he spent his time saying he would defeat Ginga, didn’t care about Ryuuga and that Ginga want to fight with him).
Kyouya wasn’t affected by the Dark Power. He had no aura, no flashback of his duel with Ryuuga, no traumatized look that characterized Tsubasa and Hikaru when they suffered the Dark Power. It didn’t do anything to him. His worst (and only) breakdown (or outburst) was at the very begining of the series, after the Wolf Canyon, long before he knew Ryuuga and the Dark Power existed.
About his obsession of Ginga… Ginga is the very first one who have won over him. Kyouya is (slightly ?) a bad loser. To refuse to become a part of the japanese team is completely in his course of action. He wanted to defeat Ginga and, if he teamed up with him, he couldn’t. So he had searched another way to take part in the World Championship BEFORE he started the selections. When he talked with Ginga after defeating Tsubasa, he told him so with hints and half-words.
So the Dark Power has exactly no effet on Kyouya (and his behavior evolved).
