I've gotten to a point where it's hard for me to be sad at a character's death anymore because I know I'll just ignore it for the sake of fics/art/general enjoyment. Like I will just completely disregard a character death for the sake of my own happiness and I do it so well I legitimately forget they're canonically dead.
