I keep thinking about that post about kabuto being extremely resilient and well. that’s how he got his name from nonou!! helmet boy. Maybe he has strong bones. and a lot of blood to spare
Shit you’re right… of course someone named helmet would be resilient… Tbh I always just kind of read that scene as Nonou being bad at names and being like ‘Well, he’s wearing a helmet’ but… thinking about her naming him that because of what he went through and the fact that he survived… his resilience… that’s really sweet actually 🥺 I love that a lot. Helmet boy….
I love the post about the meaning behind Kabuto's name! You all are so smart and knowledgeable! He really does have such a pretty name omg 😭🌸
But then I also think about how his name also means Beetle(( kabutomushi (かぶとむし, also written 甲虫 or かぶと虫)) ... So he is a beetle boy... 😔
And omg also in my language (Urdu) we've also got pigeons (Kabooter or کبوتر ) WHICH DOES SOUND VERY SIMILAR TO HIS NAME.
So he is a pigeon, a beetle, a helmet and a plant.

Yep, beetle is "helmet insect" in Japanese! Kabuto is a beetle boy... now I'm imagining baby kabuto catching beetles because they're like his name 🥺
