If you throw something at Jeff, he will just stare at you with an expressionless face.
Hes actually silently cursing at you. Like in his head. The best ass insults even, and he cant talk due to his fucked up mouth so he just stares at ya and theres a big ass silence between you two. And he tries to keep his cool.
If youre lucky, he wont throw anything back. If not, then get ready for something flying your way. Its usually a towel or a smelly sock.
Hes a softie on the inside, so he wouldnt actually throw something dangerous at a person unless theyre bad/its an enemy.
If enemy: chair

Jack would talk shit about itself and its appearance. About how much a freakish monster they are and how it's hideous.
Jeff, even though he can't speak, comforts Jack when they feel like that by just resting his forehead on theirs.
And that's how he calms down our beautiful large Scottish furbaby <3

Jeff: *holds Jack's hand*
Jack: I meant helping me with the wood but that's very sweet of you. *smiles*

Fun facts about my Jeff interpretation!
Jeff's body temperatures drops when hes resting/asleep, cold to the touch and he usually lies motionless, almost like he's a dead body. If you think he's dead, he probably isnt, but it's best to check for the sake of it.
Threaten this man and he'll slit your throat(maybe gut you), or just shoot you in the head and walk away like nothing just happened. But, there's also a slight chance he'll go 'Beast mode'
Beast mode: He snaps, he becomes filled with rage, blinded by it. He's can be aggressive, quiet, kills everyone in his way and shows no mercy to the victim. He becomes WAYYY sadistic, even more than he already is, and will mangle the body until it's not recognisable. Not even a group of people can take him down since he's fast, strong, and wont stop until everyone is dead on the ground. Its very rare for it to happen, but its for the best to keep him on the nice, calm side. Beast mide is triggered by threats, gun shots, aka giving him a sense of danger.
When he was a kid, he was thought by his war veteran father to dodge actual bullets because he thought Jeff would be fit for training and to join the military. His father once had a PTSD episode where he pulled out a shotgun and pointed at everyone because of the fireworks that were happening one 4th of July. Gun shots literally make him think he needs to dodge and attack because of his fathers training.
He doesnt feel safe, he feels like he should attack. Don't point a gun at him. You wont survive.
Headcanon:
I think Jeff, Woods version, would have these times when he regrets what hes done, killing his family and Jane's family, so he self harms by burning himself with a lighter in some places or does small incisions with a switchblade to 'punish' himself for his wrong doings.
But that only will trigger the memory of him being set on fire and he gets filled with rage. Like "They are the reason im like this" and stuff like that.
And then he goes on a murder spree until he falms down (which is after killing 1 or 2 people).
And thats basically like some cicle. He regrets his actions, guilt becomes sadness, then that sadness becomes rage and pure blindness, then he feels empty, then he feels normal until he gets reminded of his family and Jane again. And then the cicle begins again.
Its kinda sad.
