Pairing: Ian x Mickey x trans!reader 

Warnings: nothing worse than what’s in the show, mentions of smut and anatomy of a pre bottom surgery ftm individual 

A/N: I didn’t really have an idea for a whole fic for them, so I just did a headcanon, hope you enjoy :) I kind of got inspired to write a smut when I got to the end of this, so I may or may not do that if I find the time

You met Ian first

Luckily with his previous relationship with Trevor you hadn’t had to worry about explaining anything

With Mickey away in jail you’d been keeping Ian company

You knew about his boyfriend and it had made you feel terrible about the crush you’d gotten on Ian

It was clear to everyone but him that you’d grown a crush

However once Mickey had come home Ian had made sure you still hung out with them

Growing to admire both Mickey and Ian you found yourself head over heels for both of them

It seemed Mickey wasn’t as clueless as Ian, picking up on your crush quickly

He ignored it until he walked in on you drooling over his shirtless boyfriend

Walking up behind you he wrapped his arms around your waist before whispering teasing words in your ear

He’d laughed when you shivered and it caught Ian’s attention

With a silent conversation between the two, you felt Mickey’s lips kissing down your neck

While Mickey sucked and nipped at your neck, Ian’s lips captured yours

Both men were grinding up against you and you felt like you were floating

Your hands made their way down both of their stomachs before wrapping your hand around their throbbing cocks

They both groaned in sync, pulling away from you to kiss each other before whispering low enough you couldn’t make out what they were saying

I guess if the dominant person isn't tall, then they'll have a domineering personality. Like Crowley in Good Omens, and Mickey in Shameless. But then, the question is imo, are the domineering personalities and taller actors chosen for the POC character who's part of a MM couple?

I'm basing this off of a personal childhood experience, just to give this whole possible dynamic some context. I'm brown-skinned, and a very well-meaning art teacher said to me, 'Why don't you draw your character as darker.' I went with it, but what my friend next to me did next really shocked me. She said, 'I want to make my character tougher, so I'll give her dark skin.' He didn't correct her, nor did I. So up until the age of 12 (she was 13 btw), I had never thought people could attribute personality traits to skin tone, and much less being "tough" to being brown-skinned. I'm interested, therefore, to see if this might be the case in the media when it comes to interracial MM couples, or if I'm reading too much into things. ☺️

In MM couples onscreen and especially in fanfic, are the POCs almost always shown to be dominant? Idk, just a random thought

The first time Ian meets Mickey, the dark-haired man is clutching his leg on the floor of a garage, blood seeping out profusely through the canvas material of his mechanic jumpsuit.

“Jesus fuckin’ Christ, I told them I was fine,” the man seethes, staring daggers at the other mechanics who quickly scurry away at the sound of his voice. “It’s just a scratch.”

“Sir, what’s your name?” Ian calmly asks. He has dealt with many annoying, uncooperative assholes in his life, given his profession as an EMT and as someone who has grown up in the Southside his whole life, so this little gremlin really is just one minor obstacle before he’s done with his shift. In his mind, he’s already on his couch, feet up on the coffee table, gorging on Chinese takeout and bingeing episodes of Criminal Minds until he falls asleep.

“Fuck you, that’s what my name is.”

Ian sighs. “Sir, I just want to make sure you know what your name is.”

“I didn’t hit my head,” the man stares at Ian like he’s an idiot. “Maybe you can’t tell from the blood pouring out of my fuckin’ leg, but that’s where the fuckin’ hacksaw fell.”

Ian’s stomach starts to rumble and this garden gnome is in the way of him stuffing himself with orange chicken and greasy chow mein. Fucking asshole.
