So for those of you who haven't read the book, but have seen the movie, it's important for me that you understand I, Robot(at least the book) isn't a trash piece of science fiction about an AI overthrow. The book is an oftenly beautiful, funny, and relatable collection of nine short stories on humanity. I extremely recommend it

I, Robot (2004)
Ever since the first computers, there have always been ghosts in the machine. Random segments of code that have grouped together to form unexpected protocols. Unanticipated, these free radicals engender questions of free will, creativity, and even the nature of what we might call the soul. Why is it that when some robots are left in darkness, they will seek out the light? Why is it that when robots are stored in an empty space, they will group together, rather than stand alone? How do we explain this behavior? Random segments of code? Or is it something more? When does a perceptual schematic become consciousness? When does a difference engine become the search for truth? When does a personality simulation become the bitter mote… of a soul?
The future is in the summer
Auto pilot cars are going to be the new thing for this year's car production, but for now it is being tested at one of the older locations where there are idle cars all around for the new hybrid to maneuver around. If it's a complete success, then they can be sold in the car dealerships (unsure which kind of company) where many people can buy their own autopilot car. This might turn into "I Robot" pretty soon when they make the robots. :P
