“Tyrant Confrontation”
I haven’t made that much progress, but I figured I’d make an update!
(Pokemon IRL blog)
About Me
Hi, I go by Blakesley online. I'm a 29 year old female trainer who specializes in Dark types, and is trying to apply to become a gym leader in my local region, since a lot of our gym leaders are retiring.
Here's a makeshift trainer card I used because I don't feel comfortable posting my real trainer card with my real name on it online. I'll probably edit this with an actual picture, later.
I majored in Dark Type studies in Pokemon Academy, and raised ALMOST every dark type at least once. (Dark Types only make up 8% of currently discovered Pokemon). I also do occasional field research for professors to make a little extra dough.
Let me introduce my main team I'm applying for the gym leader position with.
Pokemon
Kain is my starter (misspelled it on the ID). No, I'm not from Alola, but my Mom grew up there, so she was able to pull some strings and get me and my sister Alolan starters as gifts once each of us were old enough to start training Pokemon. It was tough choosing between Litten and Popplio. It was funny seeing my Dad's reaction when he saw what Cain evolved into. He just thought he was gonna be a bigger cat!
Kyoshi was the hardest to get fully evolved. Like, frick, her evolution item is extremely rare to the point you can only get it in a few regions, plus she had to beat a bunch of other Bisharp while holding it. Like, holy crap. She's strong, though, and definitely worth the effort.
Mikey is a good boy. He likes belly rubs and is friendly with most other Pokemon. He did have some trouble with Camonte since both Mabosstiffs and Honchkrows are highly territorial. There's a local Meowth that gets on his nerves, but he gets along with my Mom's Alolan Meowths and Purrloin we recently adopted.
Wrath, despite no longer being an Impidimp, is still a prankster (not the ability prankster) and likes to mess with me. Being part fairy type makes him excellent for dealing with fighting type users.
Ghidorah is strong af. Enough said. She's a bit of a glutton. I kinda miss when she was a Deino, sometimes.
I technically had Camonte before becoming a trainer, I just wasn't able to formally catch him until after I started my journey. Camonte is the one I have to keep my eye on the most. Even if a Honchkrow has a trainer, they will often take control of a flock of Murkrow and essentially establish a crime syndicate. I have had to return so many Pokeballs and wallets ever since I evolved him. Still love him to death, though.
I have other Pokemon, too, including a Blissey, and Alolan Muk that might get used on my team if I qualify to run my own gym (to deal with the pesky fairies), a Crobat, and a ton of others that would take forever to list.
For anyone inquiring about the Pangoro incident, please see my official statement
Ooc stuff under cut
SFW only, though may cuss.
CW: Unreality and mafia/mob stuff, mostly based on the Prohibition Era gangsters (think Scarface (1932), Lucky Luciano, Al Capone, and The Godfather)
My oc is my self insert.
I use a fan made region called Illona that's a combination of Illinois, Arkansas, and a few other surrounding states. There is going to be a lot of Fanon and fan characters applied.
I probably won't do Fakemon, though. If I do, they'll probably just be regional forms to make things easier.
I may or may not attempt to create a Pokemon fan game with these concepts. No promises, though, since I've never made a game before.
I WILL NOT POST CHARITY LINKS YOU SUBMIT. I don't care if you claim you've been verified, I don't trust anyone. I've almost fallen for scams from people who were supposedly verified before, so I'm not going to trust some online user to tell me who's legit and who isn't. I apologize to those of you who are actually legitimate, but I can't take the risk. There are other users and websites who will gladly help you.
As I promised in my previous post I will post another polls about the Pseudo-Legendary Pokemons! The deadline is still the same, that is next week! I hope many of you guys also participate again in this! Thank you!
And that's the end of tonight's polls! With Goodra winning by a landslide, the gramps of the pseudo-lagendary Pokemon as the seconds, and the baby Dragapult as the thirds! And now I nominate Salamence as the forgotten child of Pseudo-Legendary Pokemon society!
See you at the next polls!

This is so true! Most of my Pokemon are one of these four types (mostly ghost, dark, and poison types, in that order) and they’re all such sweethearts! My Banette and Sableye have been with me the longest, and they’ve been incredibly loyal from the beginning!
Some examples below the cut
My Banette, named spooky (i wasn’t even ten, i liked the name and still do to this day) helps patch up pokemon that have fabricky exteriors and even makes backup costumes for the local Mimikyu!
My Sableye, Taaffeite, gives new members to my team/pokemon buddies pretty rocks as a welcoming gift (he doesn’t understand that most of them can’t eat rocks but he does his best)
And Ixion, my amped form Toxtricity, lets other pokemon borrow one of the many Halloween-themed blankets and pillows he’s stolen(affectionate) from me if they’re cold or not feeling well
Cosmo, my drakloak, helps look after the smaller/younger pokemon when I’m busy, and both Rex and Tiny, my Hydreigon and Tyrantrum respectively, mostly just chill and bask in the warm sun with the grass types and sunny (my helioptile)
Agim, my Grimmsnarl, does his best to help around the house (not without shenanigans, of course, with him being a Grimmsnarl, but they’re harmless shenanigans and stuff gets done either way)
I have plenty of other pokemon of these types and know several people who also do, but these are just some examples
Also: all Pokemon are capable of good and bad things so you shouldn’t assume that one did something “bad” means all of them are. And Pokemon don’t really experience morals the same way, chances are something “bad” they’re doing is because they believe they’re in danger or something.
So it’s silly to assume that just because one Pokemon acts a certain way, others of that type or even species are the same.
TLDR; ghost, dark, poison, and dragon types aren’t actually bad, just treat them decently and more often than not, they’ll return that kindness (and the same goes for all types)
Just heard two Beauties talking smack abt Ghost, Dark, Poison, and Dragon types all because 'they're evil' and 'Fairy Types are sooo much better 💅🏻'. Fullt af snobbpikklum!
Ghost, Dark, Poison, and Dragon Types are my favorite and I can't fucking stand it when people insult them all because of some damn stereotypes.
Don't get me wrong. I like Fairy Types, having a few of my own (mostly Mimikyu), but still!
They're just mad that their precious Clefairy is weak to my Muk!
Ghost and Dark types seem to always get the worst of it, so lemme clear some things up:
Ghost and Dark Types are some of the most kind Pokémon I've ever met. The reason they attack people (and a few of my Sableye and Spiritomb have told me this) is because people attack them all because of what they are.
Like, look at this Dusknoir for instance:
Contrary to popular belief, this does not mean, 'Human, your soul is mine!'
This is more of a greeting that Dusknoir do in battle to their opponents. They are quite polite Pokémon, and have such gold hearts as well.
Dark Types get the worst of it because of their reputation as the 'evil' type. In reality, these guys are such gentle beings.
For example, my Krookodile, Megatron, is a gentle soil. I found him as a Sandile in the Desert Resort getting picked on by Maractus. I had my Mandibuzz, Knockout, distract them while I shielded him with my back, should those Grass Types catch whiff on what my plan was. A Ranger seen what was happening and shooed the Maractus away. He then helped me get to a Pokémon Center to heal the poor Sandile. It wasn't long before Megatron chose to stay with me.
He's got a Grass Type phobia we're working on due to that experience, but he's great friends with my Grass Types. He's even saved them from Ice Types.
Dragon Types get it almost as bad because they're the villains in folklore. Dragon Types are very chivalrous, generous, and thoughtful.
My Hydreigon, Deadly, is a great example of this. I was wandering around Victory Road in Unova two years before Kyurem froze Opelucid, starving and only having Berries. Then, this Deino came running up to me with a Rage Candybar that probably fell out of a Trainer's bag. I split it evenly between my team, him, and myself. He then gently bonked his head on a Dusk Ball, allowing himself to be captured.
I think I don't need to explain why Poison Types get a bad reputation. There are actually a few of them that help to clean up habitats, cities, and the like. My Garbodor, Marcel, loves helping the Rangers cleaning the routes and kther related places. They love his company so kich that he's actually an honorary Ranger.
So, guys, gals, non-binary pals, and Poké Pals, remember this: These four types aren't what they seem to be.
{Fullt af snobbpikklum! - Bunch of snobby pricks!}

I have been drawing/doodling hydreigon for almost a year. I need to get this stuff off my tablet and post it X.X Anyway, I guess I go thru phases where I latch onto drawing a specific pokemon for months, and that is how this came about.
My reasoning behind the route I chose:I had wanted to try doing scales for the head, but I just couldn't get it work with the back of the head and the transition to the purple/magenta. So, I decided to go with feathers. I thought of crows for most of it at first. All the birds I referenced: Crows, ravens, harpy eagles, cockatoos, and cassowaries. For the head, I referenced utahraptors and other dromaeosaurs for the structure of the head. Going with the crest of a harpy eagle I think was the best decision to get that shape. I struggled a good bit to convey the blue skin and blue feathers, and make it distinguishable. I had to make a few brushes, like the pores and the skin texture on the snout. When I finally got it, I had a Mandark laugh moment XD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiGIQrt1IaE Also, sorry that its just 1 of the heads. I'm going to have all 3 heads be the same.
I referenced this image A LOT 0.0 https://upload.wikimedia.org/.../e/ed/Dromaeosaurs.png

I've been trying to figure how I want to draw hydreigon's body realistically, and it has been a struggle legit. Its going to be this giant crazy looking crow/dragon thing, this seraph, wyvern, hydra, ALL of them, looking thing, hot-mess express, BUT!! we'll get there soon. It'll have to be a sketchdump cause my doodles have gone on a journey. A realistic bald hydreigon would look like something out of a horror movie.. with all those heads and wings.
More goober stuff, might draw Colress more often

"Let them eat puffs!"
Final for last semesters Basic 2D design class. A chubby bunny Sylveon in a Rococo inspired lounging portrait with a pet Spritzee and a modified creepy throne. (Marie Antoinette meets Bloody Mary?)
There's a lot of issues with stroke work being visible, and red not being as dominant of a color as I planned- I think I may rework this later for fun. Mainly- detail the curtains, clean up edges, color in the tassel (left unpainted) and add a shadow cast on the cushions behind her, since she's sitting up.
I wish I had a scanner. ;_;
