I’m thinking about how people talk about hsr welt like he is no longer the herrscher of reason

Maybe it’s just me but I’m pretty close to certain that he is the herrscher still (or rather, is again). For one, when you ask him about his powers he says he got them from an old acquaintance- a reference to Welt Joyce who passed on the herrscher core to him.

When he talks about being an animator he brings up his ability to mimic things he can understand- again this is a herrscher of reason power.

Also, we all saw how he just bodied the trailblazer in the beginning of the game right??? Trailblazers stellaron was going critical and Welt just casually flies in and knocks em out like it’s nothing. And when I say “flies in” I mean it! When I watched it the first time I didn’t notice, but mans was FLYING.

So idk tldr; Welt Yang in honkai star rail is a herrscher and holds the star of eden. He acts like he’s just a regular, uninteresting old man, but uuhhh he is very much not
