LET'S GO
Okay so except for the first one, these will mostly be out of order because I love them all equally and I don't have enough braincells to organise my thoughts.
1) Iconic soulmates partners. As a surprise to no one, the moment that made me go from "hehe they bicker like an old married couple they are kind of cute" to "oh my god these bitches deadass soulmates" is my favorite moment for them. I love everything about this scene, the music, their expression, the animation, but especially the build up. So far, we've seen these two bicker a lot in the show, and although they always get the work done, Atsushi begins to wonder if they really work as partners. And in this arc, there is a lot of tension between them, we really see the difference not just between their personalities, but between their philosophies as well. It's mostly a good thing because they challenge each other and keep each other in check, but it also leads to a lot of arguing. And yet ... and yet when shit hits the fan, when the final countdown is on and everything seems lost ... these two are in perfect synch and know exactly what to do. There are barely any words exchanged between them, and yet they understand each other perfectly. In just a few seconds they switch positions and save the (and each other). And this when Atsushi gets it. These two are best partners because despite their differences, when it comes down to it ... their bond is the strongest thing they have.
2) Worried bf. So many of these moments are from the Azure King arc and I'm not ashamed. This one is very simple but there's just something about Kunikida recklessly rushing to save innocent people dying and Dazai IMMEDIATELY holding him back because he knows that Kunikida could actually hurt himself trying to help others if no one stops him ... yeah. This is a moment that really highlight how different their philosophies are why it's important. Kunikida is willing to do anything if it means he can save just one person, and we saw many times that he is always ready to sacrifice himself for others. Dazai is a lot more pragmatic and detached, but he is learning to care about others as well, so he is the perfect balance for Kunikida's saviour instinct. I also said before that it frustrates me when Dazai is portrayed as always calm and smug and on top of everything, so I love seeing him worried about Kunikida because he knows he can't control him.
3) Paper rock scissors debacle. We love boyfriends who share everything <3 even their braincell. I don't have anything deep to say about this one except that I love when Kunikida and Dazai are just being silly together. The fact that this all happens during a fake scenario for Atsushi's entrance exam makes it even better. Like, they just COMMITTED so hard to their roles. I love them.
4) Yearning Dazai. This isn't really (1) moment in particular but just ... Dazai always being so desperate to get Kunikida's attention all the time ... like okay Dazai we get it you want to pin him against a wall and kiss him like okay WE UNDERSTAND. Look at this disaster of a man holy shit.
5) Yearning Dazai Delux Edition. I cherish the Kunikida OVA with my whole ass heart and that ending where Dazai goes on a long rant about why Kunikida is so amazing and the best to be the next leader lives rent free in my head at all time. This idiot is so in love I swear to god.

𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐫𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐟𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟, to not let herself fall in love with him because she knew what he was capable of, she had seen what he had done and she had been on the receiving end of his threats and aggression. but yet despite how much she tried not to, she couldn't help it. annie had fallen hard and as much as she had tried to keep it pushed down, it seeped out through the cracks and she hadn't been able to keep it hidden. even the first time she said 𝐢 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮, it hadn't been intentional, it had just happened and from there, she couldn't deny it to him at all. not that she wanted to deny it, but she hadn't wanted to feel so exposed and vulnerable. annie had gotten to see so many different sides of him in the time they had spent together, he could be soft and sweet, vulnerable in a way that had shocked her and she could never deny that he was so much more than he appeared. homelander was someone she never thought she'd let into her heart and yet he had it, she just had to 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞 that he actually took care of it.
𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐰𝐚𝐲, she knew what he had done, would continue to do if no one stopped him. the pain, the heartbreaks, the death - he was responisble for so much. yet she couldn't stop herself from being in love with him and she had to let herself wonder if there was anything he could do that would make her finally say that is 𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡. what scared her most was that she wasn't even sure that existed. a part of her knew that no matter what happened, she would be in love with him and even if she couldn't stand by him, he would still have her heart. fuck. this was so much more intense than she ever intended and a part of her didn't even know how it actually happened. it felt like it happened naturally and yet all at once at the same time.
𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐮𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐬 𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧, her heart racing a little faster in her chest as she watches him, that smile that ghosted his lips and she couldn't but wonder what he must be thinking right now. her honesty sometimes shocked her, she wouldn't 𝐥𝐢𝐞 to him about things, she needed to be honest but she wouldn't deny that sometimes, she did worry about his reaction. but right now, she could tell he wasn't mad or angry about what she said. eyes closed as he pressed the kiss to her forehead, feeling soothed by it in a way that made it feel like he had taken all the tension away that she had been feeling. looking up at him again as he spoke, she knew how right he was, that the 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 here was something neither of them could run from or deny it, " i know, " she whispered softly, her hands moving to rest on his chest, moving a little closer as she tried to wrap her head around what this meant. no more denying. no more hiding it from him. she couldn't do that anymore, it was 𝐞𝐱𝐡𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 and it wasn't working. he knew that she loves him and he also knew she couldn't keep denying it, " i love you . . . i can't keep denying it to myself, especially when you can see right through me and you know the truth, " it didn't make it easier, knowing she would also do whatever she had to to stop him if it came to that. he said it himself, he was a monster and she knew he wasn't always, but she knew that they had to keep making sure he didn't go too far before more people got hurt. annie knew she was torn between her head and her heart, she was going to be the one who ended up heartbroken and hurt, " i know i said i need you to be a monster . . . but i don't always think you are one, i know you, i see you and that is why i love you, "
the demon's smile grows, a warm fire burning in his gaze as lust turns her head to kiss his palm. gods, he always loves when she does that. " i am sure we will. " he whispers, bending down and leaning in to plant a gentle kiss to her forehead. " shall i make us dinner? " soryn knows she has no need for sustenance, neither does he, it just feels nice to do little things like this. it feels domestic and good to him, to do things like that for her. sure, neither of them are human, but who says that bars them from doing human things?

ALL HER LIFE it's all she wnated to hear. From someone she looked up to, from someone who meant the world to her, from someone who protected her... Sure, it could have been taken sexually, but it wasn't. No, not this time. Not when she had finally given in and agreed to let John teach her how to shoot, how to not be afraid of it, were it in her hands.
Her grouping was good ( she's not John Wick, but it's good enough ), her hands were steady, and the fear she felt dissipated as the time went on. Holly had emptied the magazine, gun sat down on the table in front of her, and the hand on her shoulder is gentle, and most welcome. Holly turns to him, smile wide on her face. It feels good, knowing if given the chance, she most likely would be able to defend herself without his help. Hopefully, though, it wouldn't come to that.
But there it is. Those two little words that turn the look on her face from smiling to quivering lips. The words that she had only craved to hear from her mother, her grandmother, her father- though one of those was absent from her life.
A sniffle, eyes squinting through the tears ( and making every attempt at keeping them back ), as she whispers a small 'thank you' through it.

i love this idea of people flirting with matsukawa at funerals for their relatives, but like... i’m just imaging how distraught he would be. like, sneaking into the employee’s only bathroom, recording a video saying “like, i literally just burned your granny’s body and you’re flirting with me??? i literally have your granny’s ashes on my suit right now” and sending it to the seijoh 4 snapchat every once in a while and everyone loses their shit laughing when it happens. they especially love teasing him when it’s an older widow and makki always suggests stealing her heart and getting on the will. iwaizumi yells at makki for his suggestion the next time they see each other in person and matsukawa suggests hitting the old granny widows up so makki can keep being unemployed
