Wth- This is the most 5 stars I've gotten in one pull holy-
They laid inside the gateway for it has the appearance of a coffin and the only place that can hold their body while preventing decay. Most of their body was burned from their sacrifice to protect everyone and eventually succumbing to their injuries.
Crowley, the headmage of this school and the person who tried desperately to find someone to save everyone from another "bad ending." He found the right person, they stopped the time loop from repeating, they saved everyone.
But his heart bleeds from what happened, what he has done. He wanted to save his students, his teachers, the people he grown to know. But he allowed someone he technically kidnapped to lay down their life and parish for his selfishness. He should have tried to keep them safe as well, he should protected them as well.
He kneeled beside the coffin, gripping tightly to the fine wood, and cried. He apologized, pouring his heart out to them for his lack of care, his selfishness, his ignorance to them. He apologized for being jaded to everything happening around them.
"Please, wake up," he begged, grabbing their hand. "Please, I'm sorry for everything I put you through. I'm sorry for not taking care of you. Please wake up, insult me, yell at me, get angry at me, please do something."
He cried harder, shaking as he gripped their ice cold hand. "I'm sorry."
