to be honest- no idea :( everytime i think it's good enough it isn't. i would rather have interest lost over time than interest lost because of a bad or underwhelming story. i'm a bit of a perfectionist and django is the biggest/heaviest plot in my head of all the stories i've wrote so far, i just want it to be perfect
me + sleep deprivation = "oh yes this trash can looks exactly like the save button" brb while i cry myself to sleep 😭 allure part three may be a few days late because i only have the paper draft of it now yippee 🥳 i still have to do the last read through of part two then it's good to go, i will do it after work i pinky promise 🫡

When he grabs the curtain, your voice comes out rushed. "Please don't touch me."
"I won't." He speaks shortly, opening the fabric just enough to turn off the water. Immediately, with no sound to drown it out, he hears your irregular heartbeat. "I won't," he says with a voice soft with promise.
The silence drapes you both, listening closely to one another for any sign of movement or speech.
Your ears are perked up, eyes wide and wild as you watch his silhouette take a seat on the closed toilet. He seems to be watching you as well.
"You're in heat." He breaks the hush with a punch. It's not a question, more so it's an observation from his sharp senses.
"Yes." You whisper back.
"How long since you had your last one? That blocker was in there deep." His voice holds something like quiet empathy, which makes your wolf want to crawl to him even more. You try to calculate the years to give him a good estimate of how bad this will get, but your brain feels too hot in your head.
"Long," is all you can muster up.
The quiet blankets you again, the only sounds are that of the raging storm outside. A clap of thunder makes you jerk, wrapping your clawed hands around yourself for a sense of comfort.
His hand peeks through the gap in the curtain, holding your large towel. You take it with an almost silent thank you, wrapping it around your shoulders as you stay seated.

when i lost allure chapter threes final draft i lost four 3k+ scenes and im having trouble reconstructing them because they aren't in my paper draft. instead of wallowing in my sorrow and making you guys wait even longer i'll just cut it down to two scenes of the ones i've lost, which ones would you like to see most ? leave some thoughts on your choice if you want to !! thank you for your patience ❤️🩹

hello! no need to feel like a nuisance, I completely understand the anticipation for a new update! and I apologize to all my readers for the delay - I’ve been dealing with some health-related issues, had surgery a few weeks ago, and I’m trying to ease back into a stable schedule :) but I promise to have the next chapter out ASAP!
speaking of snowbaird week…HAPPY SNOWBAIRD WEEK, everyone! I hope to have an update out within the span of this fun event. I’ve also been entertaining the idea of introducing another shorter fic that I’ve been wanting to write for them for quite a while now 🫣 but we’ll have to see what I have time for. 😉

Thank you for the well wishes! I am feeling much better since my surgery, however I am loaded with work and responsibilities. I have realized in the time since first starting AROYS that my schedule is very rarely open, and my downtime is spent preparing for other work or school related tasks ahead. :/
With that said, I fully intend to continue and finish this fic! I would never willingly abandon a work, but life happens and updates may be hard to come by…more so at certain times of the year than others 😅 though, I will have more free time come the summer months, and thus more opportunities to write! I hope to have the next update out in May! 🤞
(I also have four other fleshed-out fic ideas that I plan to pursue once AROYS is done…stay tuned! 😉)

Truth is, I got SUPER busy (as always seems to be the case), and my routine suddenly changed drastically! With that said, it’s been settling down again, and I am very close to finishing the next chapter!
I sincerely apologize to all my readers who have been waiting for what likely seems forever, but I meant it when I said I would never abandon this story! It means too much to me to give up on it, and my nearly thirty page document with the entirety of the story planned out has been mocking me every time I open my laptop 😆
I can say with certainty that the next chapter will be out sometime in the next week, potentially this weekend if I’m lucky!
Lucy Gray and Coryo are tense, but when are they not 🤣 I can’t wait to see what everyone has to say about their antics in this next installment!

New chapter of Teacher's Pet up. I can't believe this is up to 75k and I'm just starting to get somewhere with the main relationship now. (I also can't believe I picked up writing this fic again after a 4 year break.) I'm having so much fun? What the hell.
It has been very interesting to get into the heads of different characters, their voices, humor, ways of speaking and relating, to write something so indulgent yet also take it seriously. This fic is exceptionally personal to me, really coming from my own teen self (over a decade later)... but through anime characters. Who want to be super heroes. I love the absurdity of it all.
It's been so fun to dive back into MHA again, it is such a different flavor from MDZS. I'll return to my MDZS fics and I still am way more over there than MHA, but it's fun to have them both! I was worried they'd switch off (that weird anxiety of hyperfixations breaking and leaving me bereft of a source of dopamine, ya feel).
And ah, fic engagement is the best.
