"I love you, but can we please go to bed?"

"I Love You, But Can We Please Go To Bed?"

Synopsis: Capitano misses his lover who's working his ass off. So he takes matters into his own hands

Note: OKAY, this is my first time posting something, so please be nice to meπŸ™ also I'm really sorry if I misspelled something in here, I'm a fucking idiot and can't spell correctly. Also also, I don't know that much stuff with the fatui harbingers since we've barely gotten anything about them, so I'll just be using their code names. OKAY SORRY FOR MAKING THIS SO LONG AND THANK U FOR READING<3 (BTW CAPITANO HAS A HUGE ASS SCAR ON HIS EYE AND PANTALONE LIKES TO WEAR MAKEUP YOU CAN'T CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE)

Info: Fluff but kinda suggestive? It never gets to NSFW tho (bc I hc Capitano as asexual, yes you can fight me on this/hj). Mainly focuses on Capitano, small use of pet names and curse words, OOC? Mentions of them being married because yes

"I Love You, But Can We Please Go To Bed?"

Capitano didn't need this. He really didn't need this tonight. After a long day of working at the Zapolyarny Palace and making sure no one died today, he just wanted to snuggle up to his lover and fall asleep in his arms. But it looks like his husband said otherwise.

Pantalone was in the office he has in their mansion, working his hands off till they crumbled into dust. So, Capitano had to lay in bed all by himself, the icy weather of Snezhnaya biting at the large man laying in the cold sheets of the mattress. Capitano sighed after feeling a small shiver run down his spine. He was worried for the banker, his eyebags were getting more noticeable, and only a certain amount of concealer will be able to cover up his darkening eyebags.

The tall man sat up in the bed that barely fit him, creaking as he sat on the side of the bed. He rubbed his face before looking at the bedside table, it was very clean and had a fancy lamp sitting on the side of it. Capitano turned the lamp on to see better, but it illuminated the beautiful wedding ring under the lamp when turned on. He smiled slightly when seeing the ring shining under the light, remembering when he and Pantalone got married, barely anyone showed up since they were fatui harbingers after all.

Capitano sat up from the silky sheets and left the ring sitting under the lamp, opening the door and ducking his head before walking out. Capitano walked the hallways of their mansion, looking at all the different paintings hung up that Pantalone had bought with his mora. Eventually, he made it to the office and slowly opened the door, trying not to make any noise. The office wasn't that big compared to the other rooms they had in their mansion, but it was comforting.

The office had shelves with rows of trinkets, textbooks, books, and extra ink glasses placed carefully on top of the shelves. Of course, Pantalone was there sitting at the desk with his hands working on writing a paper. The desk was filled with papers, pens, trinkets, and books everywhere. It was surprising that nothing had fallen off yet.

Capitano silently walked over to the desk, peeking over the tall seat to see if Pantalone had passed out. Sadly, he was still awake. His closed eyes were focused on writing, and his glasses looked like they were about to slip off his face at any moment. Pantalone noticed Capitano's presence as soon as he entered but made no attempt to speak, Capitano silently hugged the side of the tired Pantalone, looking down to see what he was writing.

They stayed like that for a few moments before Capitano moved his head towards the clock, "Pantalone..are you nearly finished dear?" Capitano said after looking away from the clock and kissing Pantalone's temple, his deep voice raspy when first talking. Pantalone didn't want to answer Capitano's question, but he gave in quickly. "Just...give me a few moments," Pantalone spoke, voice wavering slightly. Capitano sighed at his lover, he knew that it was an empty promise due to the last time Pantalone promised to head to bed.

Capitano's patience was starting to run thin, and the knight cared for his lover greatly, so if Pantalone wasn't okay, Capitano wasn't okay. He slowly slid his hand down Pantalone's arm to his non-dominant hand, intertwining his much larger hand in between the males smaller hand. "You said that last time," Capitano said, voice laced with passive aggressiveness. Or was it more of a teasing tone?

Either way, Capitano didn't let Pantalone speak before he brought his head down and started to kiss Pantalone's neck. Soft but cold kisses making contact with the smaller males warm skin. Pantalone relaxed in Capitano's grasp, a shiver making its way down Pantalone's back when he felt the sudden icy feeling making contact with his skin. Pantalone bit the inside of his cheek softly, he knew that he needed to work, but he was so tired..all those books he needed to open and those papers that needed to be written gave him a headache just thinking about it..and he did miss his lover sincerely.

The two just sat there in silence as Capitano kissed Pantalone's neck softly. One hand intertwined with Pantalone's hand, and the other one wrapped around his waist, now rubbing slow circles onto the males side. Capitano stopped kissing Pantalone's neck before stealing a glance at him. He looked lost in thought, and Capitano knew that this wouldn't help him get back to bed, so he had to do something. Capitano pulled his head away from Pantalone's neck and looked towards his back.

Pantalone was wearing a poets shirt with a zipper at the back, It was all the way down, showing his naked back. Capitano took this opportunity to try and make him more tired. He let go of Pantalone's hand and grabbed the other side of his waist. Capitano brought his lips and pressed a soft kiss to Pantalone's back, waiting for Pantalone's reaction.

Pantalone's let out a silent gasp, his grip on the pen tightened before letting go and letting it drop onto the table. Capitano let go of his waist for a second to move some of his hair off of the back of his neck, Capitano smirked at seeing some blush appear on Pantalone's neck. Despite Pantalone being the one who normally makes him blush, Capitano had some moments where he left the banker a flustered mess. Capitano moved his hand to rest on Pantalone's waist and started to prep some more kisses upon Pantalone's back, never speeding them up, just taking his time.

One kiss after another made Pantalone relax into Capitano's hold. He felt so safe whenever the intimidating harbinger would do something soft and intimate with him. Pantalone knew that Capitano had a rough history of betrayal and blood, so with him trusting Pantalone always made his heart warm. Capitano continued pressing faint kisses on Pantalone's smooth back before abruptly stopping.

"Would you like to head to bed, dear?" Capitano whispered directly into Pantalone's ear, waiting for a response out of the quiet male. Pantalone sighed before moving his chair away from the desk and turning to Capitano. Pantalone smiled when he saw his husband with a curious look on his face, Pantalone brought his hand up to rub the taller males face, where the large scar decorated his face, lightly rubbing the battle scar. Capitano eyes softened at the sudden contact before leaning into the bankers touch.

Capitano pulled his hand on top of Pantalone's. Despite his hand feeling extremely rough, his grip was gentle with Pantalone. Capitano pulled Pantalone toward his chest more and kissed his palm softly. "That would be nice," Pantalone said, voice breaking the silence between them.

A smile grew across Capitano at the success of finally getting his lover to snuggle into the cold bed with him. Pantalone stood up and slowly stretched, but Capitano had other plans. The taller male scooped up the banker into his arms, Pantalone let out a soft gasp before chuckling, placing his head on Capitano warm chest. Capitano's smile grew upon seeing Pantalone get the relaxation he desperately needed.

Capitano turned off the light that illuminated the room and walked out of the messy office, ducking his head near the door frame so his forehead wouldn't get hit. Sooner or later, Capitano finally made it to the bedroom the two males shared, Capitano carefully placed Pantalone onto the silky sheets and started to help him take off his accessories. First, his glasses, then his glasses chains, and lastly, the wedding ring. Pantalone smiled upon seeing Capitano kneeling down in front of him and taking care of him.

Eventually, Capitano got the wedding ring off of Pantalone's hand. When he turned to place it with the rest of the accessories on the bedside table, he felt a hand grab his chin and a pair of lips connected to his forehead, "thank you, sweetheart." Pantalone's soft voice spoke as he moved his hand from Capitano's chin to his cheek, thumb making small circles against the skin. Capitano put his hand on top of Pantalone's hand and closed his eyes, "anything for you, my love," Capitano's deep voice stated.

"Charmer," Pantalone teasingly said to Capitano, who responded with a low chuckle. Capitano placed the wedding ring on the table, turned off the lamp, and got in bed with Pantalone. The smaller male curled up on top of Capitano's chest, taking in all the warmth that radiated off of the knight. Capitano grabbed the warmth blanket and pulled it upon the two, "..I'm sorry for...everything" Pantalone voice spoke in the quiet room.

Capitano smiled at the banker's apology, "it's alright, but if you don't come to bed earlier, I won't hesitate to pick you up and bring your ass to bed" Capitano lectured, placing his hands around Pantalone and pulling him towards his chest more. Pantalone chuckled lightly at Capitano's words, "message received." Pantalone addressed, giving the intimidating male a soft kiss to his chin before snuggling back into Capitano's chest. Capitano layed back into the bed, happy that his husband was in his arms again.

It did not take long for the two males to fall asleep in each other's warm embrace

EXACTLY. THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT

This was my personal hc (and the most popular one) of all the harbingers ranks

Pierro

Dottore

Columbina

Capitano

Pulcinella

Scaramouche (gone)

Sandrone

La Signora (gone)

Pantalone

Arlecchino

Childe

BUT NOW APPERENTLY ITS (I think this is now the correct list)

Director: Pierro

Capitano

Dottore

Columbina

Arlecchino

Pulcinella

Scaramouche (gone)

Sandrone

La Signora (gone)

Pantalone

???

Childe

Tbh the latter option isn't that bad, but at the same time it doesn't really make sense to me + it does make more sense for Arlecchino to be 10th + WHO THE HELL IS THE 10TH NOW???? ARE WE GONNA GET A NEW HARBINGER OR IS THE SPOT JUST VAGENT??

Arleccchino being the 4th Harbinger is cool and all, BUT WTF HAPPENED TO THE 10TH????????? WHERE TF ARE THEY? BECAUSE IT SURE AS HELL AIN"T CAPITANO. WHY HAS NOTHING BEEN MENTIONED ABOUT THEM?????

Is it not a literal plot hole? Because idk if you remember, but revealing all the Harbingers was kind of a big f*cking deal. Everyone was there except for Signora (dead) and Scaramouche (mentioned)

And now apparently the 10th wasn't there either? why?!?

I see a few possibilities.

They're alive, just unmentioned (Unlikely. You don't use a 12th person reveal on a measly rank 10. Especially not without foreshadowing)

They're dead. (Possible, but you'd think they'd have mentioned it by now.)

Childe was ranked 11th just because? (Perhaps because he's that much younger and newer than everyone else) (Possible, but I don't know about this one)

That seats going to get filled over the course of the game, possibly by the Traveler. (Maybe. Probably the route they're going to go, if I had to guess.)

(And no, I do not subscribe to the theory that Crepus was a Harbinger. Owning a delusion is not as much of a smoking gun as people seem to think)

Oh My God, What If The Harbingers Had A Bimbo Colleague??
Oh My God, What If The Harbingers Had A Bimbo Colleague??

oh my god, what if the harbingers had a bimbo colleague??

like you're as strong as them, maybe even stronger but you're so thoughtless at times. as soon as you have enough money to go on a shopping spree, you're dragging childe along.

childe's smug when he hears the clicking of your heels, knowing exactly what you're after. he'll listen to you beg for him to come along and agree but only if you repay him for helping you pick out the cutest skirts, accessories--you name it.

he loves listening to you whine. "poor little thing," he'll coo. childe knows exactly how to get you back to his office after shopping, claiming he needs to sit down because his legs are tired. but then he'll let you sit on his lap while he works on papers, enjoying the feeling of your thighs against his crotch. childe will then ask for that favour in return, wanting you to park that pretty pussy on his cock.

"sit still dollie and milk my cock without moving, hm?"

la signora is more direct about her intentions towards you, just as manipulative as childe though. she'll dress you up, strip you down and do what she pleases. signora will make sure your panties match hers and will spank you if you don't match. so, so mean sometimes :(

signora loves hearing you cry about the fact that you can't sleep, ushering you to nurse on her nipples or suck on her clit. she'll always have a hand in your hair, keeping control of the pace or where your head is. she doesn't care if anyone catches you two, just as long as they get the memo that her pussy is tasty.

"ah, look at you slutty baby. make mommy cum, hm?"

scaramouche is so mean, even worse than signora! he'll degrade you and make you cry whenever he has the chance. it doesn't matter if you're his superior, you're just a little dumb bitch. scaramouche will stare at you in a cold way so that you'd cower, whine or get uncomfortable.

like childe, he'll sit you on his lap and expect you to be obedient. scaramouche loves humiliating you in front of your comrades. he'll make you put a purple gem butt plug and spread your legs to show it off (with no panties on, of course.) he has no problem zapping your nipples or clit, loving your little screams and how your body tenses up.

"you're so nasty, i mean, look at the way you're waiting for anything to make you cum. pathetic."

dottore however enjoys testing things on you. since you're so clueless, he likes talking with 'big words' so you don't understand. it's the easiest way to get you to agree on letting him use your body. dottore always expects you to strip down before you enter his office, inspecting your body after you enter.

dottore will get grumpy if there's someone else's cum inside of you or any markings from anyone else. he claims he needs to do a check up but in reality, he just wants to fill you to the brim with his own cum. he'll test out different things he made or bought such as nipple clamps, vibrators or anything he can get his hands on.

dottore also loves seeing you sob, especially when he enters one of your holes without prep. but don't worry, his cum will be the lube! sometimes he'll invite students from the academia to watch as he pounds you, telling them about the natural human breeding system. dottore will make sure you're plugged up after, watching as you fall after trying to stand.

"you see this? that is how you're supposed to get a woman pregnant! sooner or later, she'll have milk too!"

Oh My God, What If The Harbingers Had A Bimbo Colleague??

cw. mentions of supposed death, nothing else really.

a/n. just a quick thing, this is based on a fem reader/afab reader, so sorry if anyone isnt really included. i just feel more comfy writing fem readers. much love tho xo!

 . .

To begin this story, we must travel back many centuries. .

You were once a floating star amongst the sky but had fallen down to Teyvat. For some years, your form was never really specified. It was a mix between a firefly and what looked to be a glowing grass lantern. That is until you had stumbled across Sumeru on one of the darkest nights. Your light had attracted few people, guiding them to a field of thick grass and a small pond.

It was your first time seeing humans, watching them with curiosity as you fluttered around, lighting the peaceful plains. Clueless, you had landed on a woman's arm, admiring her face. As much as you enjoyed being a small spec of light, you yearned for the feeling of living life as humans did. Your wish was granted while you rested by the pond, waking up to an entirely new form.

You had limbs like humans did, stretching them out when you woke. However, the people you had once lead to the plains were in awe. They asked you questions and put clothes on your back. Like a newborn fawn, your legs wobbled when you learned how to walk; grasping onto the arm of another. Slowly but surely, you grasped the concept of living.

As you approached the largest Sumerian village, you were showered with questions and awe. The thing people asked the most is how your eyes were shaped like stars. Of course, you couldn't answer that as you didn't know that yourself. You were named a Sage, responsibility quickly piling on your shoulders.

For two-thousand years, you watched Sumeru build itself, Archons come and go. . you had witnessed a lot of it, prefering to stay out of the public's eye. Your hand in marriage was sought out many times across Teyvat. You denied each one, focusing on your study of the stars, constellations and playing the lyre.

Though, after so many years of being companionless, you began to wish every night for a partner that wise like yourself. It was granted, a man sliding into your life by coincidence. He had taken you to the newly created land of Khaenri'ah and you saw the liveliness of the godless nation. You had abandoned Sumeru for this nation, marrying the man and having a daughter, Hecate. You had been close to the ruling family of the Eclipse Dynasty, sharing wisdom and learning the art of Khemia.

You had successfully learned Khemia, alongside your original unused Dendro vision. Once in a while, you'd sneak away from Khaenri'ah and visit Teyvat. You had met different individuals, including the Tsarista. The two of you had been quite close, her loving heart accepting you into her palace to talk.

Though, a few years later, the destruction of Khaenri'ah had taken place. You had attempted to fight the Celestial being to save the nation but failed, losing your husband and possibly your child. On the brink of death, even as an immortal being, the Tsaritsa had encased you in ice, freezing you until you could be awoken again. In the ice, you would be able to heal your wounds, regenerate energy and remain safe from Celestia.

The Tsaritsa had protected you, though, she wasn't able to find your daughter until a century later where she had been living amongst mortals, like you had been. . .

Since then, it's been five hundred years. Your form hasn't changed one bit, other than the wounds healing and your hair still growing inch by inch. One day, the Tsarista hopes to wake you and have you aid her with the uprising of the Abyss and the Fatui.

ft. the harbingers, tsaritsa.

cw. mentions of death, nudity (sfw), fem!reader

a/n. i tried not to ship reader x tsaritsa. . got a little fruity. anyways, sorry it took so long to come out, i had massive migraines :( hope you enjoy!

 . .

The capitol of Snezhnaya had been cold as always, the grey clouds rolling above the few people that had taken the chance outside to get more wood or hunt for any creature that dared to step outside their barrows. Though, the Harbingers pushed on with their work in the bitter cold, bundled up to keep their body heat from escaping.

After Signora's death and sealing, the ten remaining Harbingers had stayed in Zapolyarny Palace, taking a few days off before they had to return to their normal business. However, the Tsaritsa had been busy trying to convince herself to melt the woman she had frozen many years ago, wondering if that would make a change to their situation.

Truth be told, she missed you. Between the honest conversations, wishes that may or may not come true or the wonders of the world. The Tsaritsa had dreamt of you many times but over the last year, they had become more frequent. They'd seem like the future, pulling at her iced heart strings. She had kept quiet about these dreams, shoving them to the back of her mind for now.

On the other hand, the Tsaritsa would make trips to visit your sleeping form. Her fingers would brush the ice, muttering about releasing you one day. Perhaps when all the fighting was done. After all the bloodshed was washed away, you could come back home and be reunited with your daughter. As foolish as it seemed, she hoped for a good ending. So far, there weren't too many good things; Signora's death, Scaramouche taking off with the Electro Gnosis. .

After leaving the House of the Undying, named after your figure, she decided that tomorrow, you shall be reborn.

The Harbingers were summoned early the next morning, strolling their way to the biggest room in the palace; the throne room. They had respectfully bowed their heads and only rose them when the Tsaritsa had flicked her hand.

"You may be concerned as to why I summoned you early. There is no emergency nor is there anything to fret about. I would like to announce that I am unsealing Mater. I want you all to prepare for her awakening." The Tsaritsa explained blandly, crossing one leg over the other. "You will address her with respect, dignity and understanding. Do you all understand?"

Pierro spoke up, "Of course, your Grace. We shall tend to her needs. Shall we quell her questions until you wish to see her?" The Tsaritsa looked over to the broad man, "Yes, I would prefer to answer all her questions. You are dismissed if there are no other questions."

The ten bowed again before exiting the hall.

Nobody had questioned the Tsaritsa's decisions but this seemed a little . . mad. Unfreezing a woman who is centuries behind on history was risky and if she had seen them as danger, she could kill them all in a jiffy.

Some odd years prior, the Harbingers had finally gotten to know why there was a house that was constantly unoccupied. It was because of the Tsaritsa's cherished friend and a divine being that could be used as a dangerous weapon. At the same time, some wished to get to know this woman that was frozen. Was she beautiful? Was she full of tales that could inspire the hopeless? What about her wisdom. . she came from Sumeru, right? The questions had never been answered fully as nobody who lived in today's age had never known her other than other Archons such as Morax or Barbatos and of course, the Tsaritsa.

Soon, they'd all get to know the being admirably nicknamed Mater; the mother.

 . .

The servants were busy readying for the arrival of the immortal; someone warming her bed, laying out warm clothing on the end of the bed neatly alongside slippers on the floor, warm fluids so she could drink and not fret about getting even more cold. The Harbingers however were speaking in a seperate room, going over their plan as to how this woman should be treated.

"Her Majesty has said how we should treat her. I hope that's not misunderstood between you all." Pierro began, hands resting on the table as he observed the others. "When she awakens, stray away from making physical contact with her unless approved by herself or the Tsaritsa. Any hostile movement or unsavory body language will get you killed or mortally wounded. Mater is of course, not an Archon. She is a divine being and a Sage from Sumeru, alongside other titles." He explained, giving the quickest summary of your past.

"So, how exactly is she divine if she's just a Sage, if I might ask?" Childe spoke up, resting his head on his hand. It was a rather ballsy thing to ask, especially since it was made evidently clear that something of the sort shouldn't be questioned; it was seen as rude.

Pierro closed his eyes, "There are many tales of how she became immortal but I do not have an answer to that. Avoid asking foolish questions like so if you'd like to keep your title, Tartaglia."

The youngest didn't say anything else. The rest had been digesting the new information.

The doors of the room had opened up, a messenger seemingly, standing in the doorway. "It's time, my Lords and Ladies." They spoke, bowing their head.

The chairs made screeching sounds as they stood, the Harbingers making their way towards the House of the Undying. A few words were exchanged here and there, but nothing major. Once the doors had opened, they trickled inside, eyeing the shiny crystal in the middle of the room. It was notably chillier in there, snowflakes floating around without a worry of melting in mind.

In that icy crystal was a woman, curled up into a fetal position, one leg hanging lower than the other. She looked to be at peace, skin flushed a pink tone around your nose, lips, fingers and toes. Your hair was umkempt and your skin wasn't covered by robes as the ones you were previously were covered in blood, dirt and parts were torn.

The Harbingers stood side by side, admiring what was in front of them. A few moments later, the ice began to crack and then shatter. The woman would've landed on the ground if it weren't for Pierro. They waited silently, Tartaglia handing his cloak over to cover you up.

 . .

Your lashes brushed the upper part of your apple-like cheeks. They flickered at first, eyes opening slowly. "Mmh. ." You groaned softly, body unconsciously shifting towards the source of the heat. Around you were several faces lit up by the gloomy light that peered in through the stain glass windows. "Where am I?" You sat up a little more, realizing you were being held by another person.

"Snezhnaya, your Excellency." Pulcinella had spoken up, catching your attention. You hummed softly, wondering how you had gotten to be in the cold nation. Last you knew was falling from your home and towards a body of water. Perhaps someone found you and had taken you here? "Who is your leader? I wish to speak to them immediately." Most of the eyes trailed to Pierro, waiting for his decision since he was the first of the Harbingers.

"As you wish, your Excellency. However, may I suggest that you be warmed first? You still feel quite cold." Pierro spoke, looking down at you. He was right, you still felt hypothermia on every inch of your body. Your muscles felt painfully stiff and refused to bend without the grinding of your bones against your muscles. "Your worries have been heard and I do agree. Take me to where I can receive warmth on a greater scale and send for my daughter and husband."

Clueless of the demise of your husband and the vanishing of your daughter, they simply remained quiet. You furrowed your eyebrows, "What is it that you're not telling me?" The younger members didn't say anything, unsure of what you were talking about. They must've not known about your family. Fortunately, Pierro came to the rescue again. "My deepest condolences, your husband has since passed centuries ago. The Tsaritsa can tell you more."

Your eyes widened with disbelief. How could he be dead? You were sure he made it out alongside you, unless he went back for something else. Your eyes narrowed with sorrow, bottom lip twitching. At first, it looked like you were about to break down in tears but much to their surprise, you did the opposite; remained composed and quelled the tears that threatened to escape your lower lashline. "Take me to the quarters then. I wish to receive that care before I lose my fingers." You muttered, allowing Pierro to lift and carry you.

Along the way, many people had bowed their heads or knelt. It wasn't unusual for anyone to directly kneel towards the Harbringers, the higher ranked ones that is. Your bare skin was covered by the thick cloak but your head was poked out a little. Your long, knotted hair had been dangling over his arm, swaying when he walked or shifted weight.

It felt odd to be carried. Your late-husband was the only one to ever carry you. You never really let people touch you unless they were your family or people you trusted. Even though most of the people in the fallen land were friendly and lacked the corrupt, sinful nature of those who lives in Teyvat--you didn't want to be that trusting.

You snapped out of your thoughts when you entered a room, servants waiting to serve you. A soft, plush feeling met the back of your body. It must've been a bed. Pierro had bowed before leaving, closing the door behind himself. Though, you had noticed a similarity. . the star shaped eye. Was he from Khaenri'ah too?

 . .

After being washed, dried and dressed, you were sent on your way to the throne room. You didn't feel overly nervous, just curious and a little worried. The man before hadn't mentioned that Hecate was deceased so, surely she was alive, right? It would make sense if she were, she's half human and half immortal. . or whatever you would call yourself.

The large doors parted ways for you, heels clicking as you walked towards the center of the room where assumingly the Tsaritsa sat. You didn't bow, kneel or anything alike, you just stood still.

The Tsaritsa had stood up, making her way down the few steps to where you stood. "You're alive. . I saved you. ." She muttered with astonishment, hand reaching up to cup your face. It was like she saw a ghost, though not one that would haunt her dreams or knock something over during the night to spook someone; it was you. "I'm so sorry for your husband," She spoke again, lowering her hand to her side. For the first time in many, many years, the Tsaritsa had shown affection, sorrow and things surrounding the two strongest emotions. Those who watched were in awe, some even gasping silently.

"What?" You said, blinking twice with utter bewilderment. "Is it true? He's. . gone?" The words began to get quiet towards the end of the sentence, bottom lip quivering with intense waves of sorrow. The Tsaritsa nodded, watching as you crumble to your knees, letting out audible sobs. Your light of your life was gone, the flame blown out. Did he die honourably? Was he in pain? Those were some of the questions that played inside of your mind.

Arms had wrapped around you, frosty fingers rubbing your back in circles. Whilst the guards and others left the hall, it had given you time to get all of the despair out through tears and pleading that it wasn't true. The Tsaritsa had no tears to shed herself but still felt something for you. Inside, she blamed herself for not finding the husband. Perhaps she could've saved him as well by freezing him. Maybe not, after all, he was a human and you were in no shape to be healing others' wounds.

After a span of minutes, the tears fell slower and the hiccups grew less frequent. The Tsaritsa's shoulder was dampened by your tears, the damp liquid hardening from the frosty air. You lifted your head and looked up at the Archon, "Thank you for saving me. . but, what about Hecate. . my daughter?" She paused, thinking of the right words to use. "She's alive from what we've heard but we haven't been able to find her again. Much like you, she lives in Sumeru from what our intel told us. Though, it's been twenty years since then."

Hecate is alive? Your face brightened a little, relieved that your only child is alive. You smiled a little, "Again, I thank you. You've looked over my daughter when I couldn't. . I knew you were different from the other Archons, my dearest friend." The Tsaritsa had blinked, a soft smile appearing on her lips. Many of these small things were never seen by others. It had been quite a few hundreds of years since she smiled giddily, laughed or showed compassion for anyone else. Needless to say, it was welcomed, especially if it was towards you.

"When I'm stronger, I will find her and along the way, I shall navigate this place again. Perhaps I'll learn more about what happened. What are your thoughts on that?" You asked. It took a few moments before she answered your question. "I think it's an important goal. I'll make sure you have everything to grow strong once again and. ." She reached behind her back, pulling out a vision. "I've kept this safe for you." It was your dendro vision.

You took it from her hands when she offered it out, thumb wiping over the clean glass. "I owe you my life, dear friend." You clipped it to your outfit, wiping your stray tears from your cheeks after. "You need not say that." She fixed your hair, tucking little hairs behind your ears. "Just don't die, that's all I ask of you. You're the only thing that keeps me from completely losing my humanity." Her hand carassed your cheek again in an affectionate manner, helping you stand after a brief moment.

After that encounter, you knew that you had to get well enough to find your daughter. She needed you. . her mother.
