Writing Prompt: Hanahaki Disease

Hanahaki Disease is a fictional disease in which the affected individual produces flowers from their mouth as a response to believed-to-be unrequited romantic love. The cure is either surgery or a successful love confession.

Here are some different twists and turns in this prompt:

It's revealed that Hanahaki Disease isn't cured by reciprocated love but by overcoming the fear of rejection! So no relying on your friends to deliver the confession :)

An aromantic character seemingly develops Hanahaki. However, in actuality, this individual doesn't have Hanahaki! The flowers were apart of a dubious plan to "convert" this aromantic character to alloromantic by forcing them into a relationship

Hanahaki has other varients such as platonic Hanahaki for a friendship unreciprocated!

The villain pretends to have Hanahaki in an attempt to guilt trip the protagonist into an unhealthy relationship!

An immortal character contracts Hanahaki and isn't forced into revealing their secret affections for another character to avoid death! Unfortunately, this doesn't cure Hanahaki but turns it into an annoying chronic disease.

There is a way to cure Hanahaki using surgery without having to medically eliminate the memories of their beloved. Unfortunately it's only given to the rich. Now, a group of characters try to wrangle enough money to afford this treatment for their friend in a short amount of time.

Story Idea: Home Alone Au but it's kid Aemond and Luke. Tell me it wouldn't be fun to watch these two defend their house from burglars on Christmas. Like I’m sorry? Aemond “evil cackling” Targaryen and Lucerys “cute with stabbing tendencies” Velaryon. Golden duo for this concept.

I can’t write this at the moment, but I’m really stuck on holiday fics right now and want to see some.

Story idea:

A rumor spreads to King’s Landing. A boy has claimed a dragon on Dragonstone. Viserys initially brushes it off as a poor jest until it grows undeniable. A boy, some common boy, has bonded with one of the wild dragons. In an attempt to keep things under wraps, Viserys legitimatizes the boy, claiming he’s a bastard of Targaryen decent.

Tensions rise when the boy arrives in court. He’s a commoner with no place there yet he is there. His Valyrian features are very prominent and only make the three eldest sons of Rhaenyra stand out more. His manners and demeanor lead to an air of uncomfortableness. The Dance has yet to happen. The factions are unsure what to do with this stranger. Should they convince him to join them or do their best to avoid him?

But one consequence of his arrival looms over. A common boy had claimed a dragon, a weapon of untold destruction. For years many believed only true-born Targaryens could control such beasts. The idea of the Targaryen’s strength is threatened. After all, if a bastard from no where could claim a dragon, what's stopping any other dragonseeds or Targaryen descendants from doing so?

I wrote a couple chapters of this once but am probably not going to finish. I think it's a cool concept that can go into Targaryens and the idea of their exceptionalism

You and I have been together for hundreds of years, we will be together for hundreds more. Everything comes to an end but not us, not our love.

Story Idea: Interview With The Vampire AU Rhaenicent A journalist is approached by a woman claiming to be a vampire. Being down on her luck in terms of assignments, she takes it on. The "vampire" is reserved but blunt in her recounting of her life. As the night passes, the vampire weaves the tale of betrayal, sadness, tragedy, and the love/hate relationship she shares with the one who turned her into a vampire.

(I’ll probably write a few scenes of this idea but not a full-blown story)

Twins

Okay so I was doing art on an app called color pop, color pop is an app where you have unlimited freedom on how you can color the pictures it has. It’s great for kids because there’s a feature where you can have closed lines for easier drawing. Anyways I was looking for something to color when I seen this, when I seen this I instantly thought of identical twins but one is a girly girl who likes pink and bright colours and is popular and has a higher voice, while the other one is more of a tomboy with a deeper voice who wears a lot of black and grey, she has more of an alternative style. Now if you’ve seen the anime Haikyu!! You should know of the identical twin boys Atsumu and Osamu, the way these boys have it so people can tell them apart is that they each have different coloured dyed hair, I used this for my twin girls in the picture.

The girl on the left is Yuka, which is Japanese for gentle sun. Yuma is your average popular girl, she’s skinny and athletic except she is very nice to Yuzuki but only at home, at school she tends to ignore Yuzuki, not really on purpose it just kind of happens. she has more of a loud personality, she hangs out with a lot of popular kids, and is very well know at inarazaki high school (inarazaki is the school Atsumu and Osamu go to in Haikyu!!) she manages the boy’s basketball team.

On the other hand, the girl on the right is Yuzuki, this has multiple meanings it could mean small citrus fruit, or moon, snow, and gentle. Yuka calls her Zuki. Yuzuki has more of a calm personality, unlike Yuka, Yuzuki is unpopular and constantly called emo. Yuzuki lives in the shadow of Yuka which isn’t easy as sometimes it seems even her family likes Yuka more than her. Yuzuki is pretty much the exact opposite of Yuka, she is kind of chubby and has thick thighs like most chubby girls, she isn’t athletic at all especially with her Asthma issues. She is taller than Yuka but only by a few inches. Yuzuki is the manager of the boys volleyball team. (This is the team that Atsumu and Osamu play on).

Tell me what you think of this because I really like it.
