Ok so Dex's siblings, Lex, Bex, and Rex translated from Latin to English would be law(lex), (Bex doesn't have one), and king(rex) I hope that has something to do with thier futures I also wish lex would have been lux which means light and lex would have been the flasher
"Why do you have to put down my dreams, so you're the only thing on my mind?"
I have reason to believe that 'Tell Me Why' is one of the most powerful songs Taylor Swift has written.
What makes this song great is its versatility; the lyrics can be applied to any situation wherein an abusive power dynamic between two parties is involved. TS described it as being about a tug of war in which "someone always kind of has the upper hand." With that in mind, the perspectives are endless. Depending on whom you talk to, this song could be about gender, racial, or wealth inequality, classism, even.
This versatility is what helps a song maintain its relevance. It's what makes some songs timeless. Music that isn't shackled to specific eras or circumstances has the capacity to be appreciated longer, and by wider audiences, because it doesn't shut people out. This is the music that can live on forever and ever. To me, that's power.
It is this style of songwriting that TS has mastered - that delicate balance between confession and ambiguity in her lyrics that gives you a sense of something she might have experienced, but also isn't so personal as to exclude the possibility of that experience being echoed by millions of other people.
This is Taylor's unique talent, and 'Tell Me Why' exemplifies it perfectly.
I'm so mad Teen Titans got discontinued. Especially because it had a large girl following!!! There were so many good plot points to still be explored and I keep seeing stuff about them and theories and it makes me so angry that I'll genuinely never know unless it's ever picked up again and that's even if the people that continue it decide to pursue said plot points and on top of that if they decide to do what the original writers wanted to with them
The owl house theories!
I normally don’t post on here but where else can I share my fan theories? Plus, I’ve spent hours at this point thinking up new possibilities and being so incredibly excited by all of this!!
I noticed something while watching The Owl House that I’d like to see if anyone else noticed.
In the first episode, when luz is fighting the warden with Eda and king, she takes out the fireworks she had earlier in the ep. To defeat the warden dude. (Which proves she was going to take them to normal camp lmao) however, in the firework explosions, there were magic glyphs. (remember this is the FIRST EPISODE). The glyphs weren’t hidden in any way and were pretty outright, similar to the fireworks in the coven parade episode which proved that fireworks that originate from the isles have glyphs in them. This brews a couple theories.
Theories
1.) When items are brought through the portal to the boiling isles, they are automatically flooded with magic and that affects their usage. This raises a couple of questions, one being is it all items or just some, and, if that’s the case, why only some? And does it affect beings that go in and out of the portal? What exactly about the portal does this?
2.) Luz got the fireworks from someone who used to live on the boiling isles and is now living in the earthly realm. If that’s the case, who are they? Why are they selling boiling isles products? If the fireworks didn’t originate from the boiling isles, why are they magic?
3.) Something about Luz owning the fireworks makes them magic. If that’s so, does it affect her other possessions? How long has it been going on? Does she have some other connection to the boiling isles we don’t know about?
Extra
My friend suggested this could be the set up to Luz learning the light spell however in every firework explosion is a new/ different sigil so it’s not just the fire/explosion glyph and none of them are light glyph. It could all just be something that the creators put in for fun and decoration but something about it just makes my mind tick….
There’s always more theories I haven’t thought of yet but even just these three have so many details and inferences we could make if we knew what was cannon. There is always the possibility it was put there for the viewers to make the connection of glyph magic but I think there’s more obvious ways to do that. Plus, I feel like doing something like that isn’t too important to the plot. What difference would it make if we knew about glyph magic before Luz?
I just thought I should share and see what the community has to say! Lmk your theories!!

OK BUT IN THE NEW SEASON OF HEARTSTOPPER I NOTICED SOMETHING I NEED TO TALK ABOUT AS AN ASEXUAL
They portray queer sex the best way ever omg. I just- the way you can feel the love and the trust through the screen is just so fucking amazing. I’m ace and I don’t want to have sex, but this was the first time I’ve seen sex (ESPECIALLY QUEER SEX) portrayed in an appealing way in a teen coming of age show.
Instead of it being two cishet horny teens having sex in a closet at a house party 20 minutes after they met, it was loving relationships, QUEER relationships, where they talked about sex and what they were comfortable with and their concerns and everybody was completely on board and-
Just…, the way that the show portrayed Charlie really having to think about it instead of it being a split second decision. The way Nick didn’t take Charlie up on his offer when he was drunk. The way Tao listened to Elle and what she needed and her concerns. The way Tao stopped as soon as he sensed Elle was uncomfortable. The way the Tara and Darcy giggle and smile between every kiss-
It’s just portrayed as a way to be closer to your partner. To have a moment with them where you’re not completely in control and you’re in a vulnerable situation. It’s never been shown as something you should rush into or something that should be shamed and I just love it so so so much.

What do these two pictures have in common? The red shoes.
There is a fan theory that because of the extra toe joint that being Quirkless gives you, Quirkless people have to wear special made shoes, that only come in bright red. Midoriya Izuku, diagnosed Quirkless, wears these shoes during both his middle school and UA days, even integrating them into his hero costume.
Shigaraki Tomura wears the same shoes when he attacks USJ.
What does this mean? I have an idea.
It is canon that Shigaraki scratches at his neck nearly constantly, as well as appears to have very dry skin. What if his decay quirk was actually not his?
Shigaraki was born Quirkless, hence the late "manifestation" of his quirk. However, he never had a quirk. Instead, All for One saw a young, impressionable child with a bad home situation and discreetly gave him an extraordinarily destructive quirk. When the quirk activated, Shigaraki dusted his family and home, and All for One took the opportunity to emotionally manipulate him into becoming his successor. However, he still had the extra toe joint, and the fact that his quirk is Decay, which most likely does something to the moisture in something and then turns it to dust, could dehydrate him, meaning that he would feel constantly itchy and need to scratch himself to feel better.
PLL :Original Sin Season 2 Theory:
Even though it might be a little soon for theories already but after that end of the finale chip is definitely not going to survive to the next season and I think his murder is going to start an entirely new case and I feel like we will definitely get a glimpse of aria and she would be a great help to imogen not just in protecting the new baby girl but in how to take down her A(seeing as even though it was in different circumstances aria went through something similar) I definitely think because chip might be dead next season sheriff Beasley will be back, and will somehow claim his innocence and that will lead to Mrs. Beasley being put In jail. leaving Kelly alone with him which will lead her to run to the girls(mostly Faran) and Greg. There is definitely a lot of Mona and Hannah parallels for Kelly and Faran . they have a very close friendship that seems like it’ll have it bumps in the road (due to the fact that Faren knew that Karen was murdered all along I’m guessing) and waited until A was at his worse to warn Kelly and tell her the truth. I do think that Greg and Kelly’s relationship will get some more focus hopefully because I feel like there’s an entire storyline that can be explored with them especially since Kelly would definitely Be One of A’s next target because of her father.

The Kamski Test – Observations and Hypothesis (aka prepare yourselves for a fuckin game-theory)
Right, so testing deviancy, we all know Kamski came up with a pretty, um, INSANE? way to test that. His test is extreme, but it tells me a lot of about his character and view of humanity, and clears up a bit of the mystery that made me curios about his character in the first place. If you consider deviancy to be the pass scenario, which I would because Kamski immediately looses interest in Connor if he shoots and intrigue seems to be how the creator positively reacts to people, then what is it that this truly tests?
Deviancy, or consciousness, can’t really be measured, humans have tried in the past and even in 2038 Elijah hasn’t figured it out. We’ve created lots of tests to test different aspects of what we think makes someone conscious, and to be honest his experiment isn’t all that different from our tests on rats. We’ve tested rats by showing them a button and another rat, when the button is pushed the second rat receives an electric shock and food is given, comparable to shooting and killing and then receiving the reward of information in the Kamski test. Most rats after seeing the second animal hurt register this and stop pushing the button, showing empathy, a lot of animals show empathy actually.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oa16P4nFgD8- a similar experiment to the button test, rats prove to aid other rats in distress even when offered food.
And this is exactly what Kamski is testing, empathy, something he considers to indicate deviancy or consciousness. Most see Kamski as cold hearted for such a morbid test, that he’s insane, the villain, evil, a mad scientist of sorts- yet he considers empathy a necessary part of consciousness, kind of contradictory if you ask me. The justification for the extremity in this test is due to the fact that Androids are more advanced thinkers than rats; he couldn’t very well give the same shock and food response. Because of their intelligence the stakes of the situation had to be raised, rats had to figure out pain was being cause, but without ever pulling the trigger an android can suss out what will happen before it does through logic. I mean Markus proves androids can make quick predictions (preconstructions) of future action in game when Markus has to make parkour decisions to get to Jericho and to invade the Cyberlife warehouse.
So an android could figure not to shock another android before pushing the button, but would know the consequence wouldn’t outweigh the reward. When Connor showed up Elijah had all the pieces he needed to set up the same exact test for a being of higher intelligence. Connor had a request of Elijah for information, like a treat, and Elijah could then provide a condition on which that bait was provided. He pressured Connor to show empathy over getting the reward. A purely scientific endeavor, though again the means in which this test is conducted are not empathic at all to those within the test. In a way our treatment of rats and testing by using distress as a motivator is comparable, forcing their empathy to show by hurting another one of their kind?
Wait… what made Androids go deviant again? Oh that’s right, high levels of distress and unsafe situations. And you know what the androids under stress did when they became conscious? Exactly as the rats did and showed pro-social empathic behavior to their own kind by freeing them from their distress. Huh, its almost like Kamski knew it would happen, like he purposefully set up the situation to be a massive scale experiment to prove Android consciousness. He couldn’t very well program it into them, but he cold give them means to be conscious, give them the exact scenario that would prove, Scientifically, that Androids were conscious. I mean the guy has an IQ of 171, so I mean, obviously he’s smart about it.
But I still wonder why? Why did Kamski want to create life? Did he want to create life at all? I think it’s evident that he hoped they would be, he likes when Connor becomes deviant- rewarding him for passing the test by giving him the way out of Cyberlife’s grasp. In his promo before he left, or was discharged from Cyberlife, he goes on to say “And who knows maybe one day our leaders, to make the best decisions for humanity.” ??? Like, I’m sorry but that is not something someone who designed Androids for the express purpose of obedience would say. Giving them leadership positions means they don’t obey, and if they were to make decisions on behalf of humanity you know what they’d have to do? FUCKING SHOW EMPATHY. Of course on TV he can’t just blab that he’s trying to create and mass-produce a new kind of life, the public would shut him down immediately and then the scenario needed to create the life would collapse. I imagine this is why he was discharged from Cyberlife and went to be isolated, where he could watch and observe his test without having to put up a front of a businessman. Kamski is a scientist not an entrepreneur yet for most of his promo video he sounds like he’s advertising. He sounds scripted. Not to mention the “You can trust me.” Is actually the worst lying done ever… in history like dude, just stop you’re bad.
With all this evidence piling up I’m sure a lot of you are pointing to the worst possible ending of the game, when Kamski comes out of hiding and takes the mantle at Cyberlife again. He says a whole lot of stuff that perfectly contradicts the idea that he was in support of, let alone planned, the awakening of new life. He says that androids must be controlled, must be obedient. And yeah, sounds bad right? But I know my fuckin rhetoric okay? Look at the audience, a nation of people distrusting of androids and of Cyberlife, and also the other executives of Cyberlife watching from the background. The occasion? Androids have just become the number one terrorist threat since 9/11, he can’t very well say we shouldn’t have killed them all. As a speaker he’s meant to be the foremost expert on Androids, and he said exactly what the people of the U.S. needed to hear to be placated. “The events in Detroit were a tragedy. But that doesn’t mean WE failed.” WE, Cyberlife, the company that wants to go back to making money again.
What’s going on in his head? Maybe he’s resigned that he failed, that now isn’t the time for new life to be introduced. I can’t logic out that answer, but still, reading closely into Kamski’s behavior shows the crafty bastard may have planned and set up the events of Detroit: Become Human even more than we thought.
People wonder why most of the adults in the wizarding world are super irresponsible and emotionally unstable.
I'm thinking it's likely because the 3 generations before Harry Potter are pretty much war veterans and hella traumatized.
The wizarding world isn't known for being very modern and this was before therapy was really a thing in the muggle world.
With both Grindelwald and Voldemort having happened in one century, I think you would struggle to find a mentally healthy wizard or witch.
