(A drawing of Stephen Meeks from Dead Poets Society (1989). It is a redraw of the character from a screenshot, which is cut out and placed in the upper left corner of the canvas. It is shaded with purple and the style is a mix between cartoony and realistic, with visible lineart. There are some noticeable differences between the screenshot and the drawing - the drawing has Meeks wearing chunky star earrings (left one bring purple, right one being green), there are no highlights except for on his glasses, his gold badges on his suit don't have any detail and his pupils are a different colour. The canvas is a dark beige background, and the drawing itself is outlined with white. To the right of the drawing is a small, white star. To thr left of the drawing it says: "Steven Meeks" (written as "STeVeN MEEKS"). Underneath the cutout of the screenshot, it says: "Re-Draw!" (written as "Re-DRAW!"))

can you tell i suck at redraws and shading...

speed paint under the cut :]

also i apologise for the fact the shaded and un-shaded versions look different, I changed the un-shaded version a little before shading it.

Fun Fact! The movie "Dead Poets Society" came out 5 days after the Velvet Revolution in Czechoslovakia started. :]

(the dead poets wearing ghostbuster costumes, all cuddled up to each other while standing, laughing and blushing. from left to right, it's: richard cameron, knox overstreet, gerard pitts, stephen meeks, charlie dalton, neil perry, and todd anderson. they are placed on a light yellow canvas, outlined with white, and above them it says: "WHO YOU GONNA CALL?", below that, but still above/behind them, it says: "GHOSTBUSTERS!!", both texts are in bright red. there is a single blocky exclamation mark and star outlines, both in red, on either side of the dead poets.)

who you gonna call?

THE DEAD POETS!

This is inspired by a post from @blakenation1 , where they talked about modern! dead poets dressing up together for halloween :] i hope you like this!

no speedpaint this time, unfortunately, since the video of it is too big to upload :(
