I’ve been writing a #kingarthur2004 inspired original fic for 20 years now featuring a modern version of Arthur, Lancelot and Guinevere, where Lancelot and Guin are siblings and Lance and Arthur have a long standing friendship and love affair. Arthur is the son of a famous cop (and becomes one) and Lance’s father is a jerkbag crooked businessman that Arthur’s father Uther spent almost his whole life trying to take down. What happens when their sons meet and discover they’re meant for one another?
This art was commissioned by me and drawn by plasticlamb on instagram.
...and here is the first long piece I did for the fandom, and it's the one that most folks still remember me for. I am very proud that it still gets likes and comments (sometimes :p) and despite it needing work really badly (my early writing isn't that great) I still love this 'verse. This is a post movie AU where all key knights survive. @ka20th
...and (again) the sequel to Felt Like, The Only One. This one has a big death in it, and it was super hard to write. I love this version of Arthur and Lancelot a lot, and am proud of the work I did on this one and Felt Like (again, despite the earlier writing needing work). @ka20th
Come ON. ❤️

KA20TH CELEBRATION | Day 5 - Sacrifice
AN: For today's @ka20th prompt I decided to dedicate it to Arthur's ceremonial armour that he wore during the Battle of Badon. Not only did he stay behind to fight the Saxons so that his Knights could finally go home and be free, but he looked INCREDIBLE! I must say though, I am bias to the armour that he wears with the red cape, but gosh this one just stands out. Doesn't it?
It was my life to be taken! Not this...never this! My brave knights, I have failed you. I neither took you off this island nor shared your fate.
KA20TH CELEBRATION | Day 6 - Loss Lancelot's Death
AN: Gosh Lancelot's death in this film just kills me because I wasn't expecting it at all. I knew Tristan would die when he decided to face Cerdic alone, but Lancelot's death just hit me right in the heart. He didn't even get to see Arthur one last time nor did he get to say goodbye. How cruel is that? Well you know how these ancient tragedies go...no-one gets a happy ending. (P.S. I'm really happy with how this turned out💙)

And Happy Anniversary (see you on the next five and ten!) to the little movie that could! xxoo
King Arthur (2004) 20th anniversary celebration day 7: endings
happy or otherwise, after the battle, everybody lives, a brave new world
It's day 7, the last day of our anniversary celebration, so we end with endings. Or is the ending just the beginning of another chapter? Does everyone in fact live?
Tag us @ka20th and #ka20th in your posts and we'll reblog them here - and if you're posting to AO3, please feel free to add them to our collection here!
