All that I know about me is that I exist. To me I've always existed and the fact one day I won't exist anymore terrifies me.

Our Beliefs About Our Alterhumanity✨🌱

We believe that we started out as a pure “fire”-like entity, a flowing ball of dark energy meandering its way through space and time.

During this “beginning phase” we inhabited many different beings such as single/simple-celled organisms, plants, mystical creatures, stars, angels, demons, early animals, and even some present day (and future) species (as time is not relevant to us, at least during this phase). These visits were short and we would “collect” only tiny pieces of them to add to its energy and as time goes on we become more complex and the visits turn into extended stays.

Finally we were able to completely rid our host of its old soul and stay there until the being died or was destroyed. This is phase two.

We had inhabited 100’s, 1000’s, maybe more beings by now and featured a multitude of different aspects that make us unique. However all those short visits will be forgotten after a while as they do not leave a significant impact upon us.

Now that we could act as a soul we started to take large peices of our hosts that are much more noticeable.

This is why we feel some of our hearttypes, theriotypes, links, kintypes, more intensely and why we feel so many or so complex.

Also, if you remember, we started as a flowing ball of dark energy which is why we are demonkin. it’s our base for everything.

We also feel like this kinda shows why we just feel like a being just looking out through soulless eyes. That’s what we are.

(This entire explanation might also help you see why we use we/us)

Not a belief just wanted to share: we feel as though this is only the 3rd or 4th human we’ve Inhabited.

oki doki, buh-bye our fellow beings🌱🌈✨

I feel like a good shorthand for a lot of economics arguments is "if you want people to work minimum wage jobs in your city, you need to allow minimum wage apartments for them to live in."

"These jobs are just for teenagers on the weekends." Okay, so you'll use minimum wage services only on the weekends and after school. No McDonald's or Starbucks on your lunch break.

"They can get a roommate." For a one bedroom? A roommate for a one bedroom? Or a studio? Do you have a roommate to get a middle-wage apartment for your middle-wage job? No? Why should they?

"They can live farther from city center and just commute." Are there ways for them to commute that don't equate to that rent? Living in an outer borough might work in NYC, where public transport is a flat rate, but a city in Texas requires a car. Does the money saved in rent equal the money spent on the car loan, the insurance, the gas? Remember, if you want people to take the bus or a bike, the bus needs to be reliable and the bike lanes survivable.

If you want minimum wage workers to be around for you to rely on, then those minimum wage workers need a place to stay.

You either raise the minimum wage, or you drop the rent. There's only so long you can keep rents high and wages low before your workforce leaves for cheaper pastures.

"Nobody wants to work anymore" doesn't hold water if the reason nobody applies is because the commute is impossible at the wage you provide.

My Mom just told me that it's better to remember the day that one died instead of celebrating the day of their birth (kinda why we don't celebrate birthdays), because when you're born, you have no record(s) yet.

No good or bad deed that you have done to make the world a slightly worse or better place. It's not yet known if a newborn will be good or bad in the future after all..

But when you die, that's when things are aired out, where it's revealed by the people around you if you have been a good or bad person throughout your life. Where your identity as a person gets remembered and appreciated by people you know and/or are close to.

And I guess it kinda makes sense.. If a great, hated, or even just a normal person passes away, the day of their deaths will be the day that most people will either remember them with owe and respect, a sense of loss and sadness or disdain and twisted glee that that person is no longer walking amongst us. (y'know.. If someone is really hated)

I'm not against celebrating birthdays at all, y'all do you, but I just thought of this in a moment of sleep deprievation and wanted to share.

AUSTRALIA ABORIGINAL PICTOGRAPHS WORLD HERITAGE ROCK ART WANDJINA ART Found Throughout The Kimberley.

AUSTRALIA ABORIGINAL PICTOGRAPHS WORLD HERITAGE ROCK ART WANDJINA ART found throughout the Kimberley. Strange are these heads with short, narrow nose, so different from aboriginal faces, a sort of helmet on the head, a sort of glasses. They haven't lips, because according to the Mowanjum tribe, the Wandjinas didn't speak. It reminds me of "Memories of the Future. Unsolved Mysteries of the Past" by Ernest von Daniken. The book suggests that some ancient artworks throughout the world could be interpreted as depicting astronauts. Harald Reini made a documentary movie of 1h30 based on the theory developed in the book of Daniken. Beliefs about Life after Death: Egyptians and Greeks

The Egyptians and Greeks had some similar beliefs in death. They both believed that there was something after life, however there was a difference.

The Greeks believed that the life they lived would be what would be thoroughly judged once they died, and would determine where they would end up.

Beliefs About Life After Death: Egyptians And Greeks

(the Judges of the Dead, that being Rhadamanthys, Minos, and Aeacus)

It was a belief that the good they did would be rewarded, while the bad would be punished. However, few of them suffered for eternity (although punished for things beyond humanity, meaning human crimes likely weren't seen as an issue, which says a lot), and the few heroes that did make it to Elysium, or basically paradise, were not because of their behavior, but because of their status and connections to the gods. It was really biased.

It meant however that they believed that when rewarded, they wouldn't really need to work another day in their life. Or well, undead life. (I can't tell if they thought that because they were arrogant and the accounts are biased, or if that's really how it worked then).

Due to that, however, it was believed that by joining mysterious cults in relation to Orpheus, and Dionysus, where they'd perform private rituals and such. There's not that much known on what they did, actually, although believed that they'd be buried with inscribed tablets. The contents vary, however usually tend to be about either guiding them, or vouching for them.

The Egyptians however, believed a different idea. They believed that there was a life after death. That their spiritual body would continue to exist in an afterlife that would be similar to the living world. Only problem? The entry to that afterlife was not guaranteed.

The idea was that they needed to negotiate somehow. To face a perilous journey, and then facing judgement before they could be given access. After that, they were meant to provide necessities for their spirit, for the rest of their undead life.

The preparations however, varied. Items would be placed within or near their tomb (the 'chests of life', made to protect the dead body), although it mainly varied depending on how rich that person was. Funerary items were also usually placed with them, stuff like amulets and the like, not to mention preparations for their needs, like clothing and so on.

Beliefs About Life After Death: Egyptians And Greeks

(the Shabti of Yuya)

Now, that's vastly different, don't you think? They both believe in a life after death, however the Egyptians saw it as a second life, meanwhile the Greeks saw it as their last judgement before eternal rest (unless punished).

Where the Greeks saw it as the end, believing their judgement to be on the life they lived, the Egyptians thought of it as the life they lived likely preparing them, and death being where they put it to the test, to make it through a dangerous journey, and then to face final judgement on whether they'd be gained entry to the actual afterlife.

Where the Egyptians would work for the rest of eternity (unless they abuse the idea of shabtis), meanwhile Greeks, or the blessed ones, would be in paradise, never having to work another day in their life.

What actually happens in the afterlife is vague to the Egyptians, but the Greeks are a bit more descriptive.

In my opinion, this tells me that the Egyptians embraced death. Not seeing it as the end, but as just another world to 'live' in, to merely exist in. That there was something else beyond it, but they'd have to prove themselves.

The Greeks however likely didn't like death. Not to mention the various myths out there of heroes conquering death, or seeing it as the big bad antagonist to a story. Decorating it in glamour however would have them strive to celebrate their gods, to do big in hopes of being favored, and that death would be their last rest, no matter how scary it seemed.

It gave them a purpose, and I guess in that way makes them both similar to each other. A purpose to work hard, and to do things in life.

Does that make sense at all?

the art of educating versus dragging

HELLO GOOD PEOPLE OF TUMBLR.

today we are going to talk about the art of educating versus the pointless art (can we even call it that?) of dragging, as the title suggests.

i’m glad to say that the generation of millennials are growing up each day more socially aware, accepting, and liberal than their predecessors. adults can mock us for ‘selfie culture’ all they’d like- it doesn’t erase the change we as a group of young minds are starting to demand. we understand things they do not and cannot as they are products of their time. black lives matter! support trans lives! inclusive feminism! and so much more!

yet while a large part of the millennials are educated in social instances, many of them are not. there are multiple ways to fight against ignorance in this day and age, like lobbying or protest, and smaller instances, like standing up for what you believe in when you see an idiot at your school in a meninist shirt or hear casual racism in conversations with people who are you friends. calling someone out is necessary; if no one tells them they’re wrong, how are they going to change?

but, as the title suggests, there is an art to it. when someone displays problematic behavior, you call them out because you want them to get educated. and if they respond positively, your job is done! but dragging them without telling them what they’ve done? how the hell are they supposed to learn?

granted, there are people who just can’t be saved from ~idiocy~. you have fuckboys who will continue to adorn meninist attire even after you rant about it’s damaging effects, or white kids that will never stop using the ‘n’ work no matter how much you insist that they, for the love of GOD, stop.

but certain peopled don’t know any better and want to learn. and while this doesn’t excuse their actions, helping them acknowledge how their behavior is harmful and then letting them know how to check themselves leads to a more educated society. here is how you can let someone know their behavior isn’t wrong without, you know, losing your shit (unless the shit deserves to be lost).

first off; name-calling and death threats? these things do nothing to advance a policy of equality and justice. no one is going to want to learn from someone that calls them a ‘slut that needs to kill themselves’ (i have seen this online!). as a feminist, i’m happy to say that i work my hardest to be inclusive towards all groups of women, whether that be WOC like myself or trans woman, gay woman, disabled woman, and anybody that identifies themselves as a woman! was i always like this? definitely not. i used to participate in a feminist culture that was very ‘white feminist’, which is ironic since i’m not even white. i talked about the right to wear shorts to school and how makeup isn’t made to impress men, or how cat-calling was a serious problem. yes- these things are feminist issues. but did i ever speak about the issues black women face in comparison to white women? how white women have advantages over say, an islamic women, when it comes to environments like the workplace. i never talked about trans women. and i participated in HEAVY slut shaming. how did i learn? i was educated. not dragged. educated. if 13 year old feminist me was told to kill myself because of my stupidity, i would not have wanted to get educated. i would have gotten annoyed and told everyone to piss off. that doesn’t mean i was right, or that i had the right to be mad, because being problematic obviously means there will be consequence. it’s just that rants, threats, and just blatant horrible behavior alienate people and do nothing to inspire people to listen or change perspective. the substance of your argument can be lost if you’re covering it up with threats and name calling. this doesn’t mean that you should coddle said problematic person. be strong and firm! they’re wrong and they should know that! but don’t make it a situation where it’s the end for them. it’s not game over. calling out is not striking out and let them know that they have the opportunity to become better.

so how do you call out a friend? let’s be real. while a lot of millennials are becoming more open minded and smarter in terms of social justice, there is still a huge group of them that use slurs and have senses of humor that basically depend on being racist. something i used to do whenever a guy i was friends with displayed problematic behavior was scream at him. “THAT IS SO RACIST/SEXIST/TRANSPHOBIC YOU PIECE OF TRASH HOW THE FUCK AM I FRIENDS WITH YOU TAKE THAT BACK YOU ASSHOLE OH MY GOD” it just pissed me off to a point where i couldn’t even see past my anger. looking back on it, i know that my behavior literally did nothing to change anything. think about why you’re friends with someone. it’s because they’re good people right? and a good person is willing to listen to how they can improve if you let them know instead of attacking them and refusing to talk to them for the rest of your life (i am guilty of this behavior). i don’t want to criticize anyone who angrily responds to offensive language. it’s exhausting to constantly spoon feed education into the mouths of people that don’t have any qualms about throwing their ignorance at you and anger naturally will surface; but not everyone whose problematic is hopeless. see moments like these as moments of discussion; not THE ONE MOMENT WHERE EVERYTHING WAS OVER AND THE FRIENDSHIP CRUMBLED. you can’t live a life thinking that everyone in the world is as socially aware as you think YOU are.

and now let’s talk about my worst pet peeve in the world. you know what i hate? when someone who is obviously smart and educated is confronted with something they’ve said in the past, i want to roll my eyes until they fall out of their sockets and tumble into the ocean. if somebody has apologized for their behavior and made it OBVIOUS that they do not share the same beliefs as they did before, why bring it up and ‘drag’ them? isn’t that counterintuitive? you wanted them to educate themselves and they have- what is the point of continually penalizing them for behavior they displayed when they were a more unintelligent individual? a good example of someone growing from problematic behavior is the company warner brothers. they released a statement before airing their cartoons that read

“the cartoons you are about to see are products of their time. they may depict some of the ethnic and racial prejudices that were common place in american society. these depictions were wrong then and are wrong today. while the following does not represent the warner bros. view of today’s society, these cartoons are being presented as they were originally created because to do otherwise would be the same as claiming these prejudices never existed”

to me, this is an adequate apology that shows clear understanding of the harmfulness of problematic behavior without making warner bros. the victim in the situation, something that a lot of people do when called out on problematic behavior. doesn’t it seem like a waste of time to then pull up screenshots of cartoons with racial prejudice in them and to then proceed to ‘drag’ warner brothers? i see this most often with celebrities. ashley frangipane, better known as halsey, used to run a harry styles blog on tumblr before she started killing the music industry and used to say some pretty bad things about taylor swift. it was typical slut shaming. but anybody who knows jack shit about halsey also knows that she is not that person today. as a mixed race bisexual woman in the music industry, she has done a lot to speak out about feminism and acceptance. she has apologized for the things she has said about taylor when she was 17 and dumb. but people like to pull up her old text posts about hating taylor or erase all the other work she’s done FOR social justice just because of her mistake. she doesn’t have that attitude anymore! those text posts do not represent her attitude today! this is why drag culture can be so harmful; it does NOTHING for equality and is basically just a way for someone to give themselves a tap on the back for feeling like they’ve done something to help a movement, when they’ve actually done squat.

educated peeps- spread as much knowledge as you can! just remember to do so in a way that actually, you know, spreads knowledge and not hate.

send an ask for advice requests!

Reworked Species #1: Martians

Their scientific name is Cephalorepens galacticus (meaning “creeping head of the galaxy”). They're commonly referred to as the Martians, but some people also refer to them as the Mars People. An omni-linguistic alien species led by their queen, Rootmars, possesses intellectual and sensory capabilities surpassing those of humanity. They possess exceptional expertise in three key areas: necromancy, biological engineering, and technological proficiency, encompassing the use, processes, and mechanical intricacies of advanced technology. Their military force is called the Keribhalum Army.

Language

Their language consists mainly of words formed with the syllables Pa, Pe, Pi, Po, and Pu. However, translation is challenging due to their use of telepathic speech and the seemingly random application of the Pa, Pe, Pi, Po, and Pu syllables, making it difficult to discern a predictable pattern or meaning. Although they are capable of producing audible sounds, these noises resemble feline growls, mouse-like squeaks, and unearthly squeals.

Hierarchy

The Mars Elite (Cephalorepens galacticus albus) are comprised of four distinct castes: leading scientists who drive innovation, esteemed judges who uphold the law, elite soldiers who embody excellence, and commanding officers who lead with strategic precision.

The Mars Garrison (Cephalorepens galacticus fuscus) are comprised of three main castes: scientists who conduct technological and biological experiments, assassins who conduct covert operations, and assault troops who wield stronger and heavier weaponry.

The Mars Quotidian (Cephalorepens galacticus pallidus) are comprised of four distinct castes: hive workers who repair technology and nurture the young, spies who gather intelligence, researchers who advance their knowledge, and common troops who form the backbone of the Keribhalum Army.

Appearance

Martians are taller than the average human, standing approximately at 7’ 3” (220.98 cm) for males and 7’ 6” (228.6 cm) for females. They have a large head with two sets of tentacles: thirty stinger tentacles act as their hands, capable of controlling an electrical pulse to temporarily paralyse people; and twelve leg tentacles with protruding greenish veins and suckers. Their stinger tentacles are half their body length, but they won't stop growing until they have reached double their height, an indication of older and wiser age. They’re sufficiently strong to grasp items firmly, being able to wield a weapon with one of their appendages. They can contract their leg tentacles, enabling them to jump considerable distances and descend slowly in a controlled manner. The skin on their heads and tentacles is surprisingly smooth and contains small pores that can release a thin layer of purplish-white slime. They have greenish-pink blood with a strange taste reminiscent of melon soda.

Female Martians possess a distinctive sac located beneath their head and at the centre of their leg tentacles. This sac is characterised by a bulbous orifice and a translucent yellow-orange coloration with visible skin wrinkles and greenish veins. The interior of the sac is coated with a protective purplish secretion that serves to repel harmful parasites. It also maintains the sac's cleanliness by preventing the accumulation of dirt and menstrual fluid.

Male Martians possess a writhing penis that is translucent and orangish-white in colour. The morphology of this organ bears a resemblance to that of a leopard slug's reproductive structure. It features greenish veins and is characterised by soft, spike-like protrusions encircling its tip. They feature three testicular organs located within cavities situated posterior to their head. These organs are partially visible, protruding slightly from the skin at the back of their head. Two of the testicles contain fertilised seminal fluid with a celadon-green colour, while the central testicle houses eggs with a distinctive amethyst hue and crimson spots. These reproductive organs are incapable of urinating as Martians have a unique physiology that eliminates the need to release bodily waste.

They have a skull of golden-yellow hue, covered in whitish neural veins, and possess an involuntary nervous system. They possess a navel cavity, and when they exhale, the barely visible slits on their face open, revealing small, thin, oval-shaped openings, before promptly closing again. They have two bead-like eyes with white pupils that can constrict or dilate, allowing them better visual control. They also have a serpentine tongue covered in microscopic hooks. They possess a mouth capable of opening into a circular, gaping maw, surrounded by six rows of fleshy teeth that can inject a deadly poison as lethal as cyanide.

The Mars Elite (Cephalorepens galacticus albus): They have pearlescent white skin, lilac eyes, China rose-coloured leg tentacles, and Syracuse red-orange suckers. They possess two iridescent purple bat-like wings with bony, silver-clawed hands and an impressive wingspan of 9' 5" (287.02 cm). From the back of their head, they have a tail that's eerily similar to a human spine, but it's held together by greenish veins and stretched, glistening dark purple flesh. They have a spiked ball at the tip of their spine-like tail, which holds a black acid. The spikes have small holes, allowing them to spray the acid at their enemies.

The Mars Garrison (Cephalorepens galacticus fuscus): They have brown-tanned skin, raspberry rose eyes, lavender grey leg tentacles, and palatinate purple suckers. They have a large amber-coloured eye in the middle of the back of their head, featuring a slit pupil. At the back of their head, they possess two elongated, mantis-like arms, equipped with two rows of razor-sharp spines, enabling them to grab people from behind.

The Mars Quotidian (Cephalorepens galacticus pallidus): They have greyish-green skin, ultramarine eyes, pale azure leg tentacles, and lapis lazuli suckers.

Abilities

To facilitate telepathic communication with other sentient beings, they employ their mouth and tongue to replicate the physiological processes of human speech. Two exceedingly thin, iridescent tentacles, reminiscent of dew on a spider's silk, emerge from two minuscule openings above their eyes. These tentacles can bifurcate into millions of tiny, hair-like tendrils, which are inserted into the ears of their chosen communicants. The tendrils then navigate to the brain, where they manipulate the electrical signals traversing the neural pathways to access areas responsible for thought and auditory perception.

They shapeshift by mentally imagining what they want to change and coating themselves in a thin layer of purplish-white slime. This strange slime drastically alters their bodily molecules and DNA structure, allowing them to perfectly transform into whatever they envisioned. The Martians possess the ability of dichotomous intangibility, but it’s limited to a duration of 10 minutes. Overextending this power can lead to severe consequences, including ocular degeneration, causing their eyes to become mushy, and cerebral overflow, resulting in permanent blindness and neural damage.

They possess telekinetic abilities, but require the movement of their stinger tentacles and intense concentration on the object they intend to lift or manipulate. Notably, they can focus on up to 20 different objects simultaneously. They can teleport up to 20 metres to different locations, but only in areas they are intimately familiar with. This ability is achieved by vibrating at imperceptible speeds, effectively propelling themselves to their desired destination.

They can sustain themselves by absorbing the vital fluids of other living organisms and the heat of electrical devices, fire, and solar radiation. The Martians possess a unique optic nerve that captures and stores a small portion of their body heat and absorbed energy. This specialised nerve forms a ring around their eyes, featuring a subtle opening that enables the focused release of intense, fiery energy beams.

They can hear low-frequency hums from any planet's core, echoes of ancient riverbeds, whispers of the wind, and the creaking and groaning of dust devils. They can smell the metallic scent of iron oxide dust, the acrid smell of sulphur from volcanic regions, and the ozone-like smell of electrical storms. The Martians can taste soil, the metallic taste of recycled water, the sweet taste of hydroponic crops, the sour taste of fermented food supplies, and the umami taste of protein-rich algae. They can see plankton, the tops of mountains, every pore on a human's face, and the texture of clouds.

Technology

Their technology is based entirely on expertise in bioengineering and energy manipulation. Their technology features a unique blend of elements, including circular shapes, industrial tubes resembling intestines, engravings of ancient pictograms that depict their ancestry, glistening flesh-like surfaces, malleable metal plates, and eerie metallic sheens. Their technology also incorporates pillars, computer modules, pulsating electric fields that double as protection and prison cells, fleshy orifices, and opaque stasis chambers filled with a clear liquid capable of inducing sleep for cloning purposes.

Their primary weapon is a ray gun that fires spores and features a settings mode, offering three distinct options:

Transformation: Transforms individuals into Man Eaters

Electrification: Emits an electric charge to incapacitate targets

Energy Beam: Generates circular light blue energy beams that can effortlessly ensnare targets

Lightweight ray guns emit slow-moving orange spores, whereas heavyweight ray guns fire fast-moving blue spores. These spores can be easily neutralised with gunfire or effectively eliminated with well-timed melee attacks.

Their mothership, the Rugname, is controlled by a simulated, lifeless replica of infant Rootmars, whose brain is encased in a protective glassy film. This replica can generate electric signals that accumulate and discharge as massive blasts of circular, flashing blue and green energy spheres, capable of incinerating individuals. They deploy surveillance drones known as Lozustika, which resemble massive, sunset-hued locusts with a singular metallic blue-orange eye. These drones are capable of projecting orbs of green fire and expelling streams of acidic, corrosive fluid that mimics blood.

The Dai-Manji boasts exceptional armour, comprising malleable metal plates reinforced with bullet-resistant flesh and a thin shielding of greenish-blue electricity. Serving as the core of the Rugname, it releases Mini-UFOs, unleashes lethal electrical discharges, and propels fiery energy bolts with precision to target enemies. It’s believed that there are forty Dai-Manji stored within the Rugname with only four to six permitted to be deployed at any given time. Each one features a logo with the insignia of the Martian race: a circular pickled bluewood crest with an eight-pointed red-orange star at its centre, outlined with a gold border and adorned with four emerald dots at the cardinal directional points (north, south, east, and west).

The Uystroblemika, also known as the Mars Satellites, are remotely controlled spacecraft shaped like feldgrau Nazi UFOs with a gilded sheen, capable of achieving remarkably high velocities. They are equipped with dual luminous laser systems, emitting either emerald green beams that incinerate targets or magenta beams that petrify them.

The Perifhalonus, also known as the Mini-UFOs, are highly agile aircraft equipped with a beehive-shaped ray gun that emits slow-moving greenish-blue lasers capable of penetrating cloth and flesh. The Mini-UFOs are distinguished by their colour schemes and pilots: grey metal variants with eight saffron-yellow stripes are operated by the Mars Quotidian, black metal variants with six red-orange stripes are operated by the Mars Garrison, and gilded variants with four crimson stripes are operated by the Mars Elite.

The Ezuivaphox, also known as the Hopper Mechas, are suicidal drones that detonate explosive payloads fueled by nuclear radiation and flammable bile, delivering a lethal blow to their targets. They are ten-legged, rust-coloured arachnids featuring gilded pedipalps and a distinctive, shaky silver stripe extending from the cephalothorax to the mid-abdomen. Their forehead bears a triangular arrangement of six blackish-brown eyes, while their entire body is covered in flexible, crystalline hairs.

The Gektosynchrima, also known as the Mars Walkers, are gigantic quadrupeds with metallic blue-red flesh and articulated legs terminating in five clawed, slender fingers. Their bulbous knee joints are covered in hook-like spikes. The creatures' belly features sixteen intestinal tubes encircling a large, glossy jade half-orb. They are capable of producing a black, poisonous gas that causes rapid skin decay and lung rupture. The jade half-orb can produce bouncing bubbles that cause highly corrosive burns once in contact with living organisms. They possess three slit-shaped eyes that exhibit a purely iridescent purple hue, and an antenna that strikingly resembles a sunflower. However, this antenna conceals a deadly capability–it can emit intense, fiery purple lightning bolts.

The Zodematikus, also known as the Ring Laser Mechas or Utoms, are sentient, glistening purplish-grey cerebral entities that propel a navy blue tubular body replete with biomechanical organs akin to those found in mammals. They possess four highly flexible robotic arms, surpassing human limb dexterity, which manipulate tusk-like, porcelain-hued levers and metallic green, red, and orange buttons. Their muscular brain features prominent, jutting veins and is shielded by a protective film of whitish, heat-resistant, bulletproof slime. They’re capable of unleashing rings of electrokinetic force, inducing bodily combustion, and generating nearly invisible, bony appendages to grasp individuals.

Goals and beliefs

Their primary objective is to debilitate Earth's military forces and leverage the planet's technological advancements to subjugate humanity. However, their motivations aren’t entirely malevolent; they seek to eradicate the destructive exploitation and harmful activities plaguing Earth. By doing so, the Martians believe they can redirect its resources towards fostering universal unification. They have a disgust for species who harm and abuse the resources and well-being of their home planets. They automatically deem them as inferior and in need of re-education through assimilation into their culture and ways of thinking.

Rootmars and many Martians advocate for the subjugation of humanity to save Earth, but a splinter faction disagrees with this ideology. This dissenting group led by Pupipi, known as the Keribhuma Army, believes that cohabitation and global cooperation are the only paths to achieving universal peace and protecting the planet. However, due to this belief, the Keribhalum Army views them as traitors, finding it foolish and shameful that they can have sympathy for an "inferior species". They will stop at nothing to publicly humiliate and/or brutally execute anyone who joins or is found to be part of the Keribhuma Army, if that person is one of their own kind.

The Martians are open-minded and embrace a diverse range of spiritual concepts, including reincarnation, the psyche, and deities that embody specific principles. In their view, deities serve as avatar conduits for the principles they represent with some requiring more worship and acknowledgement than others to sustain their power. They believe in the supremacy of a unified cosmos, where every individual has a purpose determined by their willingness to align with moral righteousness and strive towards their hopes and dreams.

They hold that no being is above the true purpose of existence and the eleven fundamental powers of the universe: seamlessness, centration, allurement, emergence, homeostasis, cataclysm, synergy, transmutation, transformation, interrelatedness, and radiance. They firmly believe that the true purpose of existence lies beyond human comprehension and will only be revealed to those who have attained divine enlightenment, thereby gaining the capacity to grasp the vast expanse of extraterrestrial mysteries and horrors.

All Martians share the conviction that natural resources provided by planets are invaluable and should be treated with utmost care and reverence. The mishandling of such resources is viewed as a heinous and sacrilegious act against the divine forces of the universe. They hold in high esteem the preservation of ancient knowledge and architecture, and endeavour to protect and pass on the cultural heritage of all species through various means, including meticulous drawings, written works, and other forms of documentation. They regard biological evolution and technological advancement as two pivotal, dynamic forces that shape and transform society and ecosystems in a perpetual state of flux.

Reworked Species #1: Martians

Overview

Their scientific name is Cephalorepens galacticus (meaning “creeping head of the galaxy”). They're commonly referred to as the Martians, but some people also refer to them as the Mars People. An omni-linguistic alien species led by their queen, Rootmars, possesses intellectual and sensory capabilities surpassing those of humanity. They possess exceptional expertise in three key areas: necromancy, biological engineering, and technological proficiency, encompassing the use, processes, and mechanical intricacies of advanced technology. Their military force is called the Pipovulaj Army.

Language

Their language consists mainly of words formed with the syllables Pa, Pe, Pi, Po, and Pu. However, translation is challenging due to the seemingly random application of the Pa, Pe, Pi, Po, and Pu syllables, making it difficult to discern a predictable pattern or meaning. They’re capable of producing audible sounds, these noises resemble feline growls, mouse-like squeaks, and unearthly squeals. When speaking their native language, they’re capable of vocalising their words and syllables. When interacting with beings who don't share their language, they shift to telepathic communication, transcending linguistic barriers and conveying their thoughts in the recipient's native tongue.

The Mars Quotidian (Cephalorepens galacticus pallidus) are comprised of four distinct castes: hive workers who repair technology and nurture the young, spies who gather intelligence, researchers who advance their knowledge, and common troops.

They possess a mouth capable of opening into a circular, gaping maw with a full set of fleshy, omnivorous teeth that can inject a deadly poison as lethal as cyanide. They also have a serpentine tongue covered in microscopic hooks.

There are two types of ray guns: lightweight models, resembling those used by Martians in the mainline Metal Slug games, which emit slow-moving orange spores; and heavyweight models, similar to those used by the Mars People Attacker in Metal Slug Attack, which fire fast-moving blue spores. These spores can be easily neutralised with gunfire or effectively eliminated with well-timed melee attacks.

They employ the same gauntlet-point shields and staffs used by the Mars People Tanks and Healers in Metal Slug Attack. However, when a Martian utilises the staff for healing or summoning lightning storms, the glowing light blue orb transforms into a bright neon pink, and they’re temporarily enveloped in a fiery aura.

They utilise advanced, portable communication devices to connect with fellow members of their species and allies over vast distances. These devices feature a screen displaying a contact list and enable real-time video transmission, allowing users to see the recipient's surroundings. The design bears a striking resemblance to the handheld device depicted in the Mars People artwork from Neo-Geo Battle Coliseum.

Their mothership, the Rugname, measures 459’ 3” (13997 cm) in length and 75’ 5” (2298.7 cm) in height. The exterior is protected by a thin layer of adamant, providing an extremely durable coat that makes it resistant to destruction by conventional weaponry. Its interior features a unique spiral layout, with a continuous corridor stretching from the outer rim to the central hub. On board, the ship houses a variety of facilities, including living quarters, a nursery, a laboratory, a cloning chamber, and torture chamber.

It’s controlled by a simulated, lifeless replica of infant Rootmars, whose brain is encased in a protective glassy film. This replica can generate electric signals that accumulate and discharge as massive blasts of circular, flashing blue and green energy spheres, capable of incinerating individuals. They deploy surveillance drones known as Pupastiko, which resemble massive, sunset-hued locusts with a singular metallic blue-orange eye.

Serving as the core of the Rugname, it releases Mini-UFOs, unleashes lethal electrical discharges, shoots purple fireballs electrified with sparkling blue sparks, and propels fiery energy bolts with precision to target enemies.

The Pupivah, also known as the Mars Satellites, are remotely controlled spacecraft shaped like feldgrau Nazi UFOs with a gilded sheen, capable of achieving remarkably high velocities. They are equipped with dual luminous laser systems, emitting either emerald green beams that incinerate targets or magenta beams that petrify them.

The Pepapiro, also known as the Mini-UFOs, are highly agile aircraft equipped with a beehive-shaped ray gun that emits slow-moving greenish-blue lasers capable of penetrating cloth and flesh.

The Popaphubi, also known as the Hopper Mechas, are suicidal drones that detonate explosive payloads fueled by nuclear radiation and flammable bile, delivering a lethal blow to their targets.

The Papophiv, also known as the Mars Walkers, are gigantic quadrupeds with metallic blue-red flesh and articulated legs terminating in five clawed, slender fingers.

The Pipopuvhax, also known as the Ring Laser Mechas or Utoms, are sentient, glistening purplish-grey cerebral entities that propel a navy blue tubular body replete with biomechanical organs akin to those found in mammals.

This dissenting group led by Pupipi, known as the Pipajozhe Army, believes that cohabitation and global cooperation are the only paths to achieving universal peace and protecting the planet. However, due to this belief, the Pipovulaj Army views them as traitors, finding it foolish and shameful that they can have sympathy for an "inferior species". They will stop at nothing to publicly humiliate and/or brutally execute anyone who joins or is found to be part of the Pipajozhe Army, if that person is one of their own kind.

It's well-known that humans and Martians share a similar DNA structure, making interbreeding possible. However, due to the Martians' dominant genetic makeup, offspring always exhibit predominantly Martian traits with subtle human influences. The dynamics of Martian-human reproduction are complex as only male Martians can produce viable offspring with humans. Female Martians can engage in intimate relations with both male and female humans but are incapable of conception.

The two prominent Martian armies, the Pipovulaj Army and Pipajozhe Army, hold differing views on human-Martian reproduction. Those who serve the Pipovulaj Army are vehemently opposed interbreeding, prioritising the preservation of their pure Martian lineage. They fear genetic contamination from outsiders, especially if they find out that they’re wrongfully exploiting their own home planet. In contrast, those who serve the Pipajozhe Army view human-Martian reproduction as a means to enhance their survival prospects. They also believe it can foster meaningful relationships, alleviate human fears, and promote coexistence.

Reworked Species #3: Invaders

Overview

Their scientific name is Deinocarnifex (meaning “terrible butcher”). Despite being referred to as the Venusians due to their origin on Venus, many people call them Invaders because of their aggressive thirst for conquest. An extremely hostile insectoid alien species, led by their asexually reproducing king, the Invader King, possesses shapeshifting abilities and omnilinguistic skills. They possess exceptional expertise in terraforming, warfare, territorial invasions, xenology, anatomy, and mechanics. They’re notorious for being the most ferocious alien species in the entire universe and are the arch-nemesis of the Martians.

Hierarchy

Their society is entirely hive-based with ranks determined by skin colour, durability, and intellectual capacity. Most Invaders are born from cocoons in hive-like structures within their meteorite-like mothership, having their abilities and roles predetermined at birth.

Heaven Globules (Deinocarnifex thauma) are the knowledgeable and dangerous hybrid offspring of Invader Drones and another life form. Surprisingly, they possess superior mental and physical strength compared to their brethren and exhibit exceptional abilities, including vocal communication, strategic thinking, psychological manipulation, a mystical connection to the cosmos, and an understanding of arcane, forbidden knowledge. Due to their fearsome reputation as heralds and guardians of the Invader King and his offspring, they operate independently from the rest of the Invaders.

Morph Changers (Deinocarnifex grallator) are tactical geniuses, skilled mechanics, and masters of stealth and terraforming technology. Despite being fully mute, they communicate effectively through a combination of gurgling sounds, raspy breathing, and expressive body language. Serving as loyal fighting servants of the Heaven Globules, they possess small fragments of forbidden knowledge graciously shared by their masters. As commanders of the Parasites and Invader Drones, they typically employ cunning tactical strategies that exploit the weaknesses of their enemies. They only resort to brute force and half-baked strategy plans when situations become truly dire or all else fails.

Elite Invaders (Deinocarnifex volans) are comprised of Invader Drones that serve as the elite troops of the Invader forces, commanders of the Parasites, and supporters of the Morph Changers in identifying enemy positions and coordinating attacks.

Ravenous Invaders (Deinocarnifex venator) are comprised of Invader Drones that serve multiple purposes: food foragers, protectors of their own kind, and operators of their war machines.

Grub Invaders (Deinocarnifex ambulus) are comprised of Invader Drones that serve as the foot soldiers of the Invader forces and the progenitors of the Heaven Globules. Despite exhibiting bestial and cannibalistic behaviour, they possess a surprising capacity for operating heavy machinery and interacting socially with more advanced species. Like all Invader Drones, they emit a diverse range of vocalisations, including chirps, purrs, chatters, hisses, growls, screeches, and howls.

Parasites (Deinocarnifex mimos) are responsible for assuming control over other life forms to aid in intergalactic conquests and harvesting the internal organs of their hosts, which are then utilised as sustenance for newborn Invaders. They emit a cacophony of unsettling sounds, including screeching shrieks, guttural growls, and ear-piercing, high-pitched hisses.

Appearance

Each Invader breed has gooey dark violet blood, which strangely tastes like grape soda laced with a metallic, iron-like taste.

Heaven Globules are androgynous Invaders that initially appear as gelatinous, amorphous purplish-black blobs, roughly the size of a newborn giraffe, shrouded in dusty clouds that pulsate with a faint greenish-yellow glow. The heralds are 26 ft (792.48 cm) warty, liquidy spheres of sparkling, pearlescent purple, featuring a vertical slit mouth adorned with writhing, glossy black tendrils that resemble teeth. The guardians resemble 23 ft (701.04 cm) greyish-pink slugs, their scaly bodies flecked with black and gold, and covered in bulbous, acid-filled sores that secrete black and yellow bile. They have pus-filled eyes, a mouth like a sea lamprey's, maroon hook-like teeth, and flexible, rubbery appendages.

Morph Changers are bipedal, skeletal beings with translucent, gloomy flesh and jutting purplish veins. They have a towering stature with females reaching 13’ 1” (947.42 cm) and males standing at an impressive 13’ 7” (962.66 cm). Females sport four sagging, pallid breasts and sylph-like bodies, while males are born with muscular physiques and no visible bosom. Males have a penis-like organ resembling a frilly slug that folds upward against their abdomen, while females have feminine genitalia but are unable to reproduce. Their greyish-green forearms and lower legs are covered in spikes, and their hands and feet end in sharp iron claws and talons. Their humanoid heads are sickly pale and hairless with two orbits that house deep-set myrtle green eyes with glowing amaranth red pupils and yellowish sclera. Both sexes have long, forked tongues covered in corrosive saliva and pharyngeal jaws with carnivorous teeth.

Males boast a gold-speckled, emerald-hued proboscis, resembling a tongue, which serves dual purposes: enticing potential mates and defending against threats. It can become rigid, enabling it to pierce through skin and bone with ease, and is adorned with microscopic spikes and snapping teeth. Their segmented tails feature a silver-grey blade and a coppery sheen, stretching twice their height, and are used for impaling victims with deadly precision. On the back, a pseudo-parasite is fused to their skin and exoskeleton, resembling a humanoid-reptilian hybrid with a skull melted to a chest, skin flaps on its head, and clawed fingers and lizard-like legs. This parasite houses a dead heart and intestinal tendrils, with one connecting to the skull's mouth like a breathing apparatus.

Invader Drones are 8' 10" (269.24 cm) anthropomorphic, toad-like aliens characterised by four rows of canine teeth, a prehensile tail that extends down to their ankles, and a rock-hard exoskeleton. They possess a chameleon-like tongue covered in translucent greyish-green mucus and microscopic, hook-like spikes. Their glowing eyes are sensory compound organs, comprising fifty individual lenses and a prominent circular lens with a slit white pupil. Their bulbous, oversized heads and backs are covered in gnarled warts, and their fingers and toes tipped with razor-sharp iron claws and talons. They have elongated limbs with three slender fingers and frog-like feet that both have translucent webbing.

They have malachite-hued bones coated in a protective layer of Tyrian purple slime, and their spine is partially jutting from the skin of their back. In place of traditional organs, their torso harbours a diverse array of grotesque, mutated locusts, beetles, slugs, worms, centipedes, and caterpillars, intricately integrated to perform essential functions: energy replenishment, digestion and nutrition, and waste management. Their muscle fibres and jade-coloured brain exhibit a rippling, scaly texture and glow with a soft, xanthous luminescence.

The predominant males have a flexible, white translucent phallus with pale blue veins, concealed within a purplish-black duct containing two circular testes. The uncommon females possess a large pink lavender organ resembling a plant bulb, complete with pale blue veins and up to one hundred small, unfertilised tangerine-hued eggs lining the womb.

Elite Invaders (Deinocarnifex volans): They have tan-peach skin, mossy green warts, metallic pink eyes, and iridescent dragonfly wings with jade ribbing. Their hands, toes, tongues, and three forearm stripes are rosy brown, while their webbing is tinted jade.

Ravenous Invaders (Deinocarnifex venator): They have pink-hued skin, lavender warts, and metallic purple eyes. Ravenous Invaders who are born with natural flight possess iridescent dragonfly wings with turquoise ribbing. Their hands, toes, tongues, and two forearm stripes are blue-green, while their webbing is tinted lavender.

Grub Invaders (Deinocarnifex ambulus): They have grey-hued skin, silvery warts, and bronze-hued eyes with metallic red flecks. Ravenous Invaders who are born with natural flight possess iridescent dragonfly wings with maroon ribbing. Their hands, toes, tongues, and forearm stripes are crimson, while their webbing is tinted silver-grey. A rare, all-female subset of Grub Invaders exist with the warts, webbing, and wings characteristic of males, pearlescent white skin, coppery eyes with metallic blue flecks, and Byzantine purple accents on their hands, toes, tongues, and forearm stripes. However, they're considered to be birth defects and are often exploited as mere commodities for sexual reproduction or cannon fodder.

Among the Invader race, there exist two specialised subsets of Parasites: the Flying Parasites and the Controllers. The Flying Parasites are pill bug-like octopuses with rusty orange skin and the size of two baby human heads. They have eight stretchy tendrils tipped with sharp points and three beady compound eyes of sparking sky blue, encircled by crimson. They also have elvish ears, a light purple sheen, an oval-shaped mouth filled with thick anglerfish teeth, pointed tongues, and tentacle-like mandibles.

Controllers resemble the Flying Parasites in appearance but are significantly larger, measuring around the size of four adult human heads. They have an umbilical cord, a dark purple sheen, pincer-like mandibles, and three thin eyestalks supporting cardinal red eyes outlined with ultramarine.

Abilities

They can assimilate the powers and traits of creatures by consuming their blood, brains, and hearts, which enhances the collective strength and fertility of their swarm-like army. All Invaders can utilise echolocation to track targets, perceive electromagnetic fields surrounding living beings, and see in complete darkness using a non-visual sense that detects air pressure vibrations. They can hear the unique resonant frequency of living beings and tune into electromagnetic frequencies, eavesdropping on radio transmissions and sensing energy fields. Their smell allows them to identify the chemical composition of substances and emotions of those around them. They’re able to taste biological fluids of others and environmental conditions, sensing pollution, toxins, and other hazards.

The Heaven Globule heralds can vomit forth intestinal maggots, which are orangish-white in colour, and spew inflamed blood and noxious gases that cause illusions. The Heaven Globule guardians can produce a disease-causing slime that resembles boiling lava, which flows from their bodies naturally.

Morph Changers can transform into humans and animals they can visually remember by manipulating their DNA structure and organic mass. They can dodge projectiles with ease and navigate tight spaces with uncanny agility and extreme hypermobility. They perceive their surroundings through a unique electroreceptive system, where electrical impulses generated by their brain and hypersensitive neurons serve as a substitute for traditional vision. This bio-electric interface also enables them to connect with technology, granting the ability to hack into computer systems and remotely control mechanical devices. They can spit corrosive acid and unleash heat rivalling that of the sun, causing worldwide temperatures to soar.

The limbs of Invader Drones can extend up to 8 ft (243.84 cm) to capture prey or aid in delivering crushing blows to enemies with a spinning headbutt. They can spin their bodies at hypersonic speeds, then ricochet off hard surfaces to smash foes, while deflecting bullets and blades. Additionally, they can spawn greyish-green maggots that approach enemies, expand, and change their skin into a bright red-orange hue before detonating in a lethal blast of acid. Winged Invader Drones can launch unguided purplish-white plasma balls and regurgitate centipede-like larvae that infect hosts, manipulating their brain functions. This infection zombifies hosts, causing their bodily fluids to transform into a gooey, scorching reddish liquid, and granting them the ability to burrow underground.

Parasites can float endlessly and extract the internal organs and life force of living creatures through small, hidden suction orifices on the underside of their flexible tendrils, leaving their victims a desiccated husk. To exert mind control, they attach themselves to their hosts' brains, sealing their vacuum holes and revealing a secondary set of orifices. Through these openings, their veins infiltrate the hosts' brains, circulating a neon purple fluid that gently constricts the skin, causing it to discolour to a bluish-purple hue.

The umbilical cord of a Controller features this unique orifice at its tip, enabling control over victims within a range of 10-13 feet (304.8-396.24 cm). Besides causing bluish-purple skin discoloration, this control mechanism induces a distinctive visual effect: the host's eyes become glazed over with a foggy, opaque white film.

Technology

Like the Martians, their technology is extremely advanced, but it’s primarily organic in nature with little to no mechanical components. They’re based entirely on expertise in the manipulation of plasma and gravitational fields, terraforming, and mechanics. Their technology features a unique blend of elements, including mesmerising line patterns, lasers, cannons, glowing crystals, fiery meteorites, flexible adamant, and grotesque cocoons. Their technology incorporates bioweapons, neon pink goo, fleshy orifices, and stolen technology from other invaded planets. It also features tubular, fleshy prisons encased in a glassy film, filled with a pain-numbing, sleep-inducing slimy green fluid.

Their meteorite-like mothership, Rlyathok, resembles the artistic depiction of Utsuro-bune by Nagahashi Matajirou, and it's made from adamant given to them by the Monoeyes, fleshy tissue, gold bones, unbreakable crystal, a reddish binding substance akin to tree resin, and tungsten. It’s capable of terraforming itself into a subterranean nest upon impact with a planet's surface, allowing it to anchor itself and establish a stronghold. It can deploy oblong spaceships crafted from dark adamant, adorned with silvery exotic line patterns and oval-shaped crystals that radiate a lime green glow. These vessels are launched from the mothership to targeted locations, facilitating swift deployment of Invader troops.

The Ecylatroch, also known as the Hunter Walkers, are fish-like anti-personnel creatures with sparkling Cambridge blue scales, a bluish-white belly, an oval-shaped body, and four spidery legs. They have a single cyclopean blue-grey eye in the centre of their body, just below their large mouth, which is infested with crooked, carnivorous teeth. When on the ground, they spit out slimy purple bubbles containing extreme toxins that cause severe burns upon impact. When on the ceiling, they drop their eye down towards their enemies, which then explodes into a blast of corrosive acid once it has landed, and their eye regenerates at an unnatural rate after this attack.

The Pnidlathrov, also known as the Mutated Hunter Walkers, are larger versions of their smaller counterparts, possessing thick skin that renders them impervious to any weapon, except for their weak point: their cyclopean bluish-purple eye. Their Cambridge blue scales have a silver-grey sheen, and they possess two new abilities: rapidly spitting out flying greenish-white meteorite bombs and summoning Invader troops as backup for support.

The Wyovanis, also known as the Smashers, are crab-like creatures with a brick red exoskeleton, a single daffodil-hued eye, four coppery legs covered in prickly burgundy hairs at the joints, and a chubby orangish-white belly with light grey spots. They fly by spinning their legs like helicopter rotors and attack by inflating their body, hardening their skin, and crushing their target with immense force, capable of breaking bone.

The Ghaprylomi, also known as the Space Mole Crickets, are earth-burrowing, anthropoid-like creatures that once belonged to an unknown alien race that inhabited Mercury. Having been integrated into Invader technology, they now play a vital role in facilitating planetary terraforming. They have a shiny, centipede-like dark grey shell that's semi-soft, a cyclopean ruby crystal eye for illumination and enemy detection, and gilded, spoon-shaped pincers for digging. When an enemy is spotted, they charge their body, glowing yellowish-white, and then rush at the enemy, exploding into a blast of fire and poisonous gas. Despite their limited armour, they are incredibly mobile and agile.

The Crynkhogu, also known as the Crab Tanks, are organic, crab-like duck teal weapon tanks with purplish-white bellies, silvery two industrial tubes protruding from their sides, eight spider-like legs that terminate in bony, three-fingered hands, and a glowing sky blue crystal eye. They're capable of firing sea purple bolts of electricity from the tubular nodules on their head. When opening their turquoise-flecked carapace, they can release shiny, bouncing balls of boiling azure blue blood that separate into three smaller bubbles. Additionally, they can jump to dodge enemy attacks and release a yellowish-green poisonous gas from their two silvery nodules when their electricity is charging for a couple of minutes.

The Vadiphoz, also known as the Vanguards, are modified sage green Crab Tanks, featuring a flexible, thick dark blue spinal cord connecting the head to the body, two gilded industrial tubes on their sides, a glowing violet crystal eye, and yellowish-white bellies and tentacles. These two tentacles are positioned atop their carapace, each ending in a built-in laser gun tipped with a violet crystal. They can fire circular greenish-white lasers from these guns and huge, spinning oval-shaped blasts from their cyclopean eye.

The Zodematikhus, also known as the Invader UFOs, are uniquely shaped aircraft composed of silver-coated flesh, crewed by Invader Drones, and offer minimal armour protection. Grub Invaders pilot UFOs that feature a single encircling rusty orange stripe above a glowing crimson half-sphere, capable of shooting slow-moving reddish-white plasma balls. Ravenous Invaders pilot UFOs that display two encircling light cyan stripes above a glowing lavender half-sphere, firing medium-speed purplish-white plasma balls. Elite Invader pilot UFOs that boast three encircling emerald-hued stripes above a glowing hot pink half-sphere, shooting fast-moving pinkish-white plasma balls.

The Faloxurvi, also known as the Flying Cores, are gravitational cores that unleash a rapid barrage of green plasma bullets with swift precision. They also possess telekinetic abilities, allowing them to lift and hurl surrounding large objects at their enemies. When enraged, the lime green glow of the crystals transforms to a red-orange, and the Flying Core begins to discharge intense blasts of electric fire.

The Telunohka, also known as the Flying Shelts, are colossal, brain-like flying entities adorned with jade-hued crystals that pulsate with a vibrant lime green glow. They’re capable of launching fiery meteors from four eye-like hatches and executing suicide dives on enemy targets. The hatches are composed of steel-coated fleshy tissues, while the main body is constructed from virtually indestructible adamant.

The Kydathriom, also known as the Brain Robot, is a mechanical entity formerly belonging to the Martians, who referred to it as Peparhuvi. Now, it experiences sorrow due to its isolation from other Invaders. It deeply misses the Martians, who treated it with genuine respect. Its creators hold it in high esteem for being a successful commander of the Ring Laser Mechas. Although it could easily disobey the Invaders, it actively chooses not to, fearing it would be reduced to scrap and have its programming completely rewritten to serve future invasions. When enraged, it exhibits a characteristic behaviour of stomping the ground and wildly flailing its arms.

This robot is controlled by an artificial greyish-green brain, meticulously stored within a crystalline glass dome filled with an orangish liquid for protection and preservation. The brain features metallic blue eyes grotesquely fused to its underside via branching white nerves. Utilising its brainpower, the robot can launch homing electric balls and, upon crouching, release a wave of electricity. Additionally, its mechanical claws enable it to crush, lift, and toss objects with precision.

Goals and beliefs

Their main goal is to assimilate all life forms throughout the universe into their empire, enhancing their prospects for survival, military prowess, technological advancement, and collective intellectual expertise until their eventual extinction. The Invaders are resolute in their determination to exterminate the Martians, assimilating their advanced technology and documentation of their expertise into their own culture. They also desire to exploit their corpses for sustenance and transformation into super soldiers, rendering their army nearly indestructible.

They’re staunch colonisers, believing it’s their divine duty to subjugate other races through conquest, cultural assimilation, and physical absorption. As a militaristic society, they place a heavy emphasis on developing strong militant capabilities through technological advancements and rigorous training, pushing the boundaries of both mind and physical body. Furthermore, they believe in utilising their military prowess aggressively to expand their empire and satiate their insatiable need for conquest.

They view themselves as the superior species, believing they should be the only ones to exist in the universe. They regard other life forms as unworthy of existence and utterly pathetic, needing to be assimilated to serve the Invaders’ perceived greatness. Surprisingly, the only life forms they hold in immense respect are the Monoeyes, whom they view as divine heralds of the deities and the lost Tuatha Dé Danann race. In contrast, they deeply despise the Martians, resenting their frequent successes against their conquests as well as their relatively peaceful nature and sustainable approach to resource management.

They believe in the necessity of constant expansion and conquest to ensure their basic survival and dominance. They glorify violence and sexual intercourse, viewing them as interconnected with their subjugation of other species and the exploitation of resources to expand their empire. Invaders think that bloodshed is necessary for psychological satisfaction and the improvement of predatory instincts and physical strength. They hold the Invader King as the ultimate source of life and unity for their society, performing violent bloodsports and sacrifices in his name.

They believe themselves to be part of a vast, cosmic network in which all deities, including the Invader King, guide their fates and destinies through the principles they represent. Additionally, they believe these deities facilitate the advent of a new era, marked by a technological and biological singularity. Furthermore, they believe in the eternal cycle of destruction and rebirth where chaos and devastation pave the way for new life and evolution. Invaders see their conquests and wars as necessary catalysts for this cycle, bringing about transformative renewal from the ashes of what they have deliberately destroyed.
