Quartz Wellness Bath
To be well one must balance mind, body, and spirit. This trifold understanding demonstrates how each supports the other: should one collapse, they all fail. To make each strong, we must return them to a state of peace and rest. Here is a simple wellness spell that can help restore your balance.
You Will Need 1. A quartz crystal 2. Purified or bottled water 3. 1 cup sea salt 4. A green candle in a safe candle holder 5. Lavender essential oil (optional) Preparation Begin by immersing the quartz in the purified water. Allow it to sit, infusing the water with cleansing properties, for three hours. If it is part of your practice, cast a circle. As you sit with your ingredients before you, centre yourself. Ground yourself in the present moment by focusing on your breath, the sensations of your body, and your connection to the earth. Casting Run yourself a warm bath. Add to it the cup of sea salt and three drops of lavender essential oil (optional). Remove the quartz from the purified water, then pour the water into your bath. Stir it three times with your right hand. Light the candle and place it somewhere safe. Step into your bath. Allow yourself to relax. Feel the waterâs gentle motion against your skin as you settle in. Feel the warmth of the water and allow it to fill you. Take in the light aroma of the lavender and allow it to clear your mind. If you can, focus on the candleâs flame and allow your thoughts to wander. Do not fight with your thoughts; rather, allow them to come, acknowledge their presence, then let them slip past you. Feel the bath drawing out your stress, anxieties, and fears. Rest for twenty minutes. Step out of the tub and wrap yourself in a soft towel. Pull the drain plug and as the water empties say the following with intention: Fear and doubt and illness All there now drain away On mind, spirit, and body No longer may you prey Rinse the tub and extinguish the candle. Notes Sea salt: cleansing and healing Lavender: peace, purification, and clarity of thought Green candle: grounding, health, comfort Quartz: healing, cleansing, purification
DIY Magical Shower Disks
So you have seen our lovely bath magic spells but you cannot take a bath. Maybe you donât have a bath in your current residence, maybe you are physically unable to use bathtubs, maybe youâre just super stretched for time but want to get in some extra magical umph. Recreational Witchcraft is here for you.Â
Shower disks are traditionally used in the aromatherapy world to relieve congestion and other flu-symptoms while showering via the use of essential oils, but we will be bumping up their magical potential.
Basic recipe:
1 cup baking sodaÂ
1 tablespoon corn starch
1/3 cup of water
Muffin tins and muffin liners
Combine baking soda and corn starch (making sure there are no clumps), then slowly add in the water. Fill lined muffin tins about third of the way, then leave out for 24 hours to dry completely. Carefully take them out of the liners, add your essential oils, and place your disk somewhere in your shower that will allow them to dissolve slowly while you do your business. Bam. Youâre done.Â
Now onto the magic. All dry ingredients (herbs, spices, etc) should be added in with the baking soda and corn starch before the water is added. All essential oils should be added right before theyâre used (so when theyâre completely dry).
Cleansing and Purifying:
essential oil of rosemary
essential oil of lemongrass
dried peppermint leaves
dried lemon rinds
dried rosemary
Protection:
essential oil of lavender
essential oil of eucalyptus
dried basil leaves
dried lavender flowers
pinch of ground cloves
Glamour:
essential oil of sweet orange
essential oil of rose
essential oil of jasmine
crushed red rose petals
pinch of (body safe) glitter

Sea Witch Bath
Maybe youâre a landlocked sea witch, maybe youâre looking for a setting to commune with your ocean deity, maybe you just feel like pampering yourself like a mermaid. Weâve got the bath spell for you.
First prep the bath mixture. Youâll need:
1 part sea salt
1 part epsom salt
1 part kelp powder
½ part baking soda
essential oil of rosemary
Combine all the ingredients in a jar, then charge the mixture under the full moon. Store with a piece of moonstone when not in use.
For the spell youâll need:
the sea witch bath mixture
muslin bag or old pantyhose
variety of candles
sea related trinkets (i.e. seashells, sea glass, mermaid offerings, etc.)
jasmine or eucalyptus incense
Arrange your trinkets and candles around the rim of the bathtub, then light the incense and candles. While waiting for the bathtub to fill with warm water, place a cup of the bath mixture into the muslin bag or pantyhose and tie it shut. Make sure theres enough room in the bag for when the kelp expands. Drop it into the bath water, then soak until you feel youâve absorbed all the energy out of the bath.
Enjoy your soak, all you lovely sea witches~
Abitwitchyâs Bath Bag
Materials:
-1 coffee filter
- string or a rubber band
- basil
-rosemary
-cloves
-sage
-sea salts or bath salts
Instructions:
1. Flatten out coffee filter
2. Put herbs and salts in the center of the coffee filter. For salts, I used pink Himalayan sea salt, but as it said in the materials list, I sometimes use actual bath salts. Hereâs a picture because itâs a really aesthetically pleasing step.
3. Carefully pull up the edges, try to keep everything inside the filter, and make it into a little bundle around the ingredients, binding it at the top with the string or rubber band. String looks prettier, but itâs easier to bind it with a rubber band and thereâs less of a chance of stuff slipping out while itâs in the bath.Â
Hereâs a picture of the final product.
Now just stick this baby in the bath and relax! Itâs kind of like a tea bag for a bath. It helps bring luck, strength, and beauty, as well as cleanses/purifies and drives away negative energy. Hope you enjoy!

Bath Magic
I thought Iâd make a little reference post for what to add to your bath for whatever troubles you.
I find it not only relaxing but very helpful to add herbs to my bath, along with stones. of course, take out any stones and large pieces of plant matter before draining the tub. You may also use a strainer that can speed up the cleaning.
I also would like to touch on this, while I do offer suggestions for emotional pain, and other problems, I only mean these to be used along with proper medical treatment. Please donât use any of this as a substitute for medicine, therapy, or other medical treatment. Magic is never a substitute. Everything below is meant to be used in ADDITION to other means of help. I just really want to stress this.
Sleep Issues
Canât get relaxed? Throw some lavender and/or chamomile in there
Having nightmares? Toss in some salt and a few sprigs of rosemary
Got too much energy to sleep? Put some onyx or jet in the bath. It will help ground you.
Emotional Issues:
Feeling down? Pluck the petals from a sunflower and toss them in. You can also add a cup of orange juice!
Lacking confidence? Add in some rosemary, thyme and some basil.
Needing some comfort? Rose Quartz, sage and vanilla can do some good.
Anxiety? Add some onyx and some lavender.
Got alot of negativity in your life? Take a nice milk bath.
Dealing with loss of loved one? This one is best to do at night, but you could add rose quartz, wheat and mistletoe.
Had your heart broken? Jade, cinnamon and violets.
Other Issues:
Having trouble communicating with someone? Daisies, dandelion, lavender and allspice can be of aid
Trying to overcome a creative block? Peppermint, jasmine and cinnamon might get the wheels turning.
Having family trouble? Lapis Lazuli and rose petals in the bath may help develop solutions.
Trying to get pregnant? Pine needles, sage, rose petals and lemon balm will not only smell incredible, but may just help.
Alright guys!!! I really hope you like and hopefully this helps someone out :) Spent a while on it so if you like it, or want a second part please reblog or like :)
This is some bath magick that you can tailor to you. Make sure you have the basic materials but becauss this magick is specifically made to make you feel better, change some herbs up or you know, whatever.
Do your thing.
Rowanâs, âBathe Me the Fuck Betterâ Bath Spell
You Will Need:
As many candles as you want (I chose six, and had red, white and blue ones. Not because I am a mad patriot but because theyâre associated with health, love (of self), and cleansing.)
Filter paper to make a lilâ bag out of (if you donât have this to hand, you can chuck the stuff into the bath water as long as itâs safe to do so).
A small elastic (rubber) band to tie the bag off with.
A bath full of favourably temperatured water.
Rose petals.
Lavender buds.
Smoky Quartz, Clear Quartz, Rose Quartz (you can have some of those, all, or one).
Pink Himalayan Salt.
To make this easier, prep your bag before you run and intend on getting into, the bath.
Open your filter paper and place the salt in the centre first - remember that youâre going to seal the bag with a rubber band, so leave room around the edges.
Then add the rose petals and lavender buds into the centre of your little salt pile.
Lastly, add your crystals and then seal the bag by pulling all of the edges upward towards each other, and tying the band tightly around the neck you should have.
Once your bath is run and youâre prepped, you
may
want to do this
optional step:
To add an extra oomph, pass the baggy through the smoke of your favourite incense. Mine, in this case would be vanilla.
Final bit!
Place your candles around the edge of your bathtub, and as you begin lighting them, repeat this phrase (you can do this aloud or in your head) until each candle is lit and flickering deliciously:
â
By the warmth of the flame, I am cleansed. By the crackling of the fire, I thrive once more. Et sic factum est, et semper erit.
â
Now place your bag into the water and climb in. Allow the troubles of the day to melt away as you soak amongst the flames.
