Quick BatCat sketch from last night ))
I personally prefer Talia and Khoa, the only version of the Joker I like is Gotham's Jeremiah Valeska. The idea of him staying single is nice too, we need more Bruce worried about his kids.
Bruce : Sorry I’m late, I was doing things.
Selena: Hi, I’m ‘things
dceu otps: wondertrev, batcat, clois
“i wish we had more time.”
“you are my world.”
“i love you. marry me.”
did i honestly spend 3 hours of my life on this???
the answer is yes bc i am trash for all these ships
enjoy modern sitcom no capes au starring: clois, batcat, wondertrev (bc i was too lazy to do more lol)
the one where they live in nyc and reenact my fave cheesy au’s
lois & clark still work together, live together and are essentially new york’s cutest non-couple. much to the annoyance of literally everyone that knows them, lane and kent remain in blissful denial, refusing to acknowledge the growing tension and chemistry until a new love interest forces them to confront what has been building between them ever since clark first tripped in front of her.
bruce is a rich guy looking for purpose in his life. and this is the story of how he accidentally adopts a bunch of orphans, which does a lot for his will to live but not a lot for his love life. this all changes, however, when he stumbles upon selina kyle, a witty and beautiful woman that works at a struggling art museum and is not afraid to call him out on his bs. he finds himself showing up at said museum a lot more than necessary, especially when his kids begin to get equally attached to her. yep, he’s definitely screwed.
diana is the ceo at an amazing company; steve is her personal assistant. need i say more?? though they’ve always been a great team and well aware of their own chemistry, diana’s hesitant to cross the line (bc once you do, you can never go back ya feel). when diana is forced to bring a fake date to boost appearances for the board, however, she turns to the man who knows her better than anyone—fake dating’s nothing when real feelings are involved.
What can you steal from a thief? -his heart.

batfam pt1 (can u tell i got really lazy as i went along lol) aka my fave fam out of everyone in marvel/dc
headcanons:
jason & selina gossip in spanish all the time (”selina, i know you’re talking about me!” “wha---i mean, que?”)
babs and cassandra make obscure references to 19th century literature and enjoy long periods of just reading in each other’s company
dick and tim do handstand competitions like the children they are
duke insists he’s the only sane man in the house
*in reality that’s alfred. done w everyone tbh.
damien tricks everyone into driving him around and getting him ice cream
helena’s everyone’s little princess and they take turns watching over her (jason is not allowed to do this by himself. “jeez, you almost drop a kid one time!”)
certain members are not allowed to play scrabble anymore (coughstephanie) bc of what happened last time.
dick and alfred take over and go all out when planning batcat’s wedding. there is weeping. and doves. and extraveganza. tbh it’s probs televised (this is the waynes, after all) and people legit get up early and gather in parks to watch it like it’s the royal wedding
everyone goes to selina for love advice to which she is all too happy to oblige. (”so how did you know you loved bruce?” “hmm, maybe the first time he almost died.”)
there’s a pool on when dick and barbara are going to get back together, a constant game of will they won’t they. they do.
bruce attends all the parent-teacher conferences and is determined to be the ultimate PTA parent (”please everyone knows i can make better cupcakes than susan!” “bruce, honey, no.”)
everyone stops by the mansion, from lois&clark, to diana, to harley and ivy, to random cats and everything is warm and wonderful and full of love.
*this took forever and i spent an embarrassingly long time on this pls validate me
the batcat modern au u never knew u needed:
Bruce Wayne is 30 when he decides that enough is enough. The playboy lifestyle is tiring. So when he comes across Dick, Jason, Tim and Cass AKA adorable orphans with their own set of Issues, he knows that he has a chance to do something good---give them a home. Only the agency won’t let him adopt them as a single dad. When Selina Kyle, his on-again off-again girlfriend and the only ex he remains friends with comes back into town after a year in Paris, Bruce realizes that she might just be the solution to all his problems.
alternatively:
Bruce and Selina get pretend married For The Children. But when the month is up and they no longer need to put up a pretense, who knows what’s real and what’s fake?
Selina’s halfway into a decent glass of wine when Bruce Wayne shows up at her door with disheveled hair and a casually wrinkled suit that does wonders for his face.
“Selina,” he says, dark eyes peering at her almost shyly. His voice is as low and warm as it’s always been when he says her name and oh---she’s over it. She is so over it. Right?
She’s about to make a joke or something---she doesn’t really know, honestly---but he beats her to it.
“I need you to marry me,” he blurts out.
What.
Selina blinks, head tilting in a combination of confusion and lightly buzzed amusement. She steadies herself against the door frame.
Bruce blushes, the bastard. “Sorry, what I mean is---” He pauses, gives her a pleading look she can count on one hand that she’s ever seen him give.
“I need you to fake marry me.”

How Would I Write A Batman TV Series
Hello! So I'm a huge fan of Batman. He's been my favorite superhero since I was five and one of my favorite movies of all time is The Batman (2022). So as a writer of course I've had ideas about a Batman TV series (animated or live action). It would be werid if I haven't thought about it. Now I doubt I'll ever actually get to make that idea a reality but it's the thought that counts!
Back when I first came up with the idea for this hypothetical series I actually wrote part of a script for it. It's just first and last scene of the episode but it counts for something. It was the first time I had written in screenplay format and I haven't done it since so It's most likely a little rough but my thought process behind all of it was simple.
Here is the last scene of the hypothetical first episode. The Wayne Murders.
Why is this the last scene?
I wanted to be different. In a lot of Batman stories the story kicks off with the death of Thomas and Martha Wayne. So having the first episode end with their deaths seemed fun. I wanted the viewer to spend time with the Wayne's before tragedy struck.
Why is Selina Kyle there?
I was inspired by the show Gotham's take on the Wayne Murders, where Selina Kyle was actually present for them. I thought it would be cool to have Selina and Bruce be duo protagonist of the series. Throughout this first episode we are not only following Bruce but we are also following Selina. I wanted to parallel them in cool intresting ways.
We see the difference between them and how they live. Bruce is a sheltered and carefree while Selina has seen far to much for some one her age. Bruce is the son of a wealthy family while Selina is the daugther of a family living in poverty who has to steal to survive. Bruce has a happy loving family and Selina doesn't.
Bruce wears pristine fashionable clothes his parents bought for him while Selina's clothes are more run down and worn. Bruce goes to a private school and Selina goes to a public one. Bruce has a circle of close friends while Selina has her little sister and stray cats she feeds
Even the lightning of their scenes would be different. Selina's would be cold and dark while Bruce's would be warm and bright. Selina is in closed spaces while Bruce is in open ones.
They have nothing in common until one day Bruce and his parents step foot in a dark, cold alley way. Then suddenly they have a lot in common while still being different in so many other ways.
Now on to the first scene which I never finished writing.
Now I don't have much for this scene. I wanted it to be clear throughout the episode that Thomas is worried about something or is working on something beacuse I thought it would be a cool set up for the Court of Owls. And that's it. That's why this season exists. Told you I didn't have much.
That's all for now. We'll talk about this again whenever I decide to work on character arcs and villians.
