ARMYS - Tumblr Posts
This is so beautiful. I love them so much. They are doing their best to try to spread love and understanding throughout the world, and I would say they are succeeding. I’m so proud of them. They make me so happy that they are doing this even tho there’re people out there who won’t appreciate what they are doing. I’m so happy that they are doing it anyway.
I love all of their responses, but two caught my attention the most. V’s and Jungkook’s. V said “LOVE MYSELF starts with a message to love yourself, but ultimately it’s a message of loving each other and loving everyone.” This stood out to me because the message LOVE MYSELF is about learning to love yourself before caring for others. But V said that you need to love others too. That’s what you need to do. I love you so much V!!!! God bless you!!!
Time for Jungkook. He said “If someone asks me what words impart the energy to live in this world, I would say ARMY and also ‘LOVE MYSELF’” This is so beautiful. It speaks of Jungkooks feelings towards the movement. He loves it so much and he is putting his all into it. It also speaks of his love for his fans. He loves them so much. He even have a tattoo of them on his hand! He cried at concerts for them. If this isn’t love then idk what is.
[Article] BTS members’ thoughts on the LOVE MYSELF Campaign
BTS Fandom
Reposting again... BTS love each other. You cannot sincerely say you love one member of BTS then hate and damage another member who they love and call family. That is not love.
I found BTS rather late but have spent a lot of time catching up with content - original content. There is some older content that is not my cup of tea and some that is very cringy to me. Much of that was before they had a better footing about what they were and were no longer willing to do. However, overall you can learn something about human nature or about the guys and their talents and relationships with each other in all of the footage they have released. The more I learn about them and their journey, the more impressed I am with them and all that they endured, did, and achieved.
The most disappointing thing about BTS is how can a group that drew me in with their positivity and acceptance have a fandom that is so ... rough? I am an older adult and have never experienced a fandom like this. I don't even get into the battles that I witness and it still feels a bit stressful to navigate around the infighting, harsh comments, arguing that I see. With the strength and support I've seen BTS' fans used to help the guys succeed throughout their career, I am certain the majority of the fans are passionate, loving, well-meaning supporters, but squeaky wheels get the oil, as they say, and I wonder how BTS fans are seen from the outside, if I, on the inside, am stunned and discouraged at times by the activity.
Granted, unlike the Internet era, fans before couldn't communicate as much with each other within the fandom. This means that outside forces would also not have had as many opportunities to infiltrate the fandom and negatively affect the atmosphere. We also never were allowed into the lives and world of the entertainers before the way BTS has let us into theirs. Sadly, if I were an entertainer today, I think I would learn from watching BTS and perhaps not expose as much to the public. That is sad because responsible and caring fans would miss out on really getting to know their favorite artist. The artist would miss out on the positive, motivating connections with their true fans. Also, it is probably not even the majority of BTS' fans that are causing the stink and, in fact, some of the noise, I believe, is from people not even fans of BTS at all. There have always been people wanting to sabotage BTS' progress and achievements.
I do wish the company and BTS had been more proactive in addressing the fandom's toxic side throughout the decade, but I blame the company more than the guys. They were busy and young and were pioneering their path as it happened. They had no other examples to follow. The company seemed to walk a tightrope between benefitting from the toxicity (and sometimes overexposure) and trying at times to at least act as though they were protecting their financial assets. Even now, with BTS' legacy firmly in place, I do not see the company leaning in to aggressively help bring some peace or at least expectations to the forefront. It's possible they've done more than I realize. I am only speaking from what I can tell. Anyway, I hope that this break for military service gives not only the guys time to reset, develop, and strengthen, but I hope it also gives the fandom time to reset, cleanse, and unite for the sake of BTS and all they have worked to establish.
I'm looking forward to a Chapter 3 with everyone on the same footing of *fighting* for BTS's longevity & continued success rather than fighting each other.
Twitter ARMYs, understand that you are on a different platform now, with a different culture.
This means that certain types of behaviors that are normalized and even tolerated on the bird app? Won't be tolerated here. The person above me has made some very salient points, and it would behoove you to listen to them.
You are free to vote and stream to your hearts content. No one is stopping you and no one should dissuade you from doing so.
Understand, however, that there are different ARMYs. Understand that there are ARMYs that will do whatever the hell they want, whether you tell them or not, that they shouldn't "celebrate when the boys win [x]/break [x] record/get recognized for [x]." ARMYs that support the boys in their own ways, whether it's buying merch, making fancams and fan content, thinkpiece/reflecting blogs and media, promoting the boys' activities, etc etc.
You can openly disagree with other ARMYs for not voting and streaming, but what you are *not* going to do on here is harass, dogpile, and/or mock others for not supporting the boys the same way you do. You will find out *very* quickly that people here are quicker to defend their peace and a bit more ruthless here. You literally have to either search out people to harass on here, or it happens across your dashboard, which it shouldn't.
Because, y'know. Unlike on certain other platforms, you can *actually* curate your experience here.
So, if TL;DR, don't be a dick to other ARMYs. Live and let live and understand that the culture is different here, and that you should act accordingly.
If streaming BTS music is such a chore for you, are you even a fan? 🥴 be serious rn all it is, is listening to their music. If that's too hard for you I hope youre never celebrating their awards bc streaming is how they get them.
??? for the record i didn't write that post, just reblogged and i mentioned in the tags that i didn't agree with a lot of the latter half even though the first half made some points. (eta: i've also now deleted the reblog because i was uncomfortable with how it's blowing up negatively esp since op isn't even army afaik)
please don't attack people like this when you don't know the full context, i'm a twitter army too and i love and support the boys in as many ways i could, including streaming and voting.
Don't you dare to smile!!🕸
Armys being jealous of IU as she was being close with Taehyung in "Love wins all" MV ... But Taehyung suddenly class IU, noona. Which means elder sister in Korean.😂
Le army's:-

Okay, so it has come to my attention that ARMYs have been making a serious mistake. Sure, we’re all allowed to have our choice in biases and of course we have our own taste in men, but we totally forgot about the precious mum of BTS aka Jin aka that precious boy aka I will fight you if you dare say otherwise. So let’s fix this.
It would be great if we can get #weloveyouJin trending. Just saying. Each and every one of the boys is precious, but right now, I feel like Jin needs to feel the love the most.
Shall I spread the love by posting pics from my precious Jin collection? Yes, I shall.
To be honest, Jin was my first bias. He was the guy that sealed the deal for me joining the fandom, because he was just so sweet and caring, and his good looks are such a bonus. Sure, to this day, I feel like there are still plenty about each member of BTS that I do not know, so perhaps there will be obnoxious people who want to point out that I’m not worthy to spread the Jin love or something because I don’t know him enough, so I’m just gonna leave this post here and say too bad for you, I just did.
I have always have a soft spot for Jin, because he’s just so precious and he actually tries so hard in everything for the group and the fans. He was the youngest at home, but suddenly he’s thrown into a group where he’s the oldest and where he has to work so hard to catch up with the others, yet he never complains. He still spends a lot of time trying to reach out to fans, and trying to show his best, and just generally doing so much for us that we end up taking him for granted. So no, this has to stop.
I’m just ranting, to be frank, and my mind is all over the place right now, so if my sentences are incoherent or the flow of my paragraphs are kinda messed up, do forgive me. I’m just feeling all kinds of guilt and upset because of all these recent stuff I hear about Jin having to cancel his shows and stuff because he wasn’t getting enough views. Yes, I admit, I was one of those who did not contribute to his views, mainly because to be honest, I haven’t even watched much of BTS stuff. There’s so many, and I hate suffering through buffers, because while a video buffers, my mind would non-stop remind me about the h/w and studying I have to do. So I end up giving up on YouTube-ing and prefer to search up random facts of them on Google. Which isn’t enough to get to know them properly, and definitely does not contribute to them.
And I feel bad. Thus, this post.
Now leave me alone and go spread the love while I go marathon EatJin episodes and make myself feel better.
Idk about this guy but I'm seeing so many people warning against him that I'm getting scared
perez hilton will be worse than allkpop and koreaboo combined. do not give him attention. do not tweet him. block him.
for those of you who don’t know, he’s an attention whore. runs a gossip blog that spreads rumors about celebrities, and suddenly he’s taken special interest is the boys.
this is entirely the wrong way to be recognized in america, trust me. he’s is desperately trying to keep himself relevant. he will use bangtan to further himself and throw them to rot. he does NOT care about them. BLOCK HIM.
