OMG Y’ALL I JUST THOUGHT OF LUCIO AT A DESI WEDDING- omg he would love it all the shiny sarees and salwar kameezs and the extravagance of it all and the red and gold aesthetics he would just eat all that shit up and he would love bollywood movies too for all the romance and the dance scenes omg

I'm a Lucio enjoyer, but I also think the man fully deserves all the clowning he gets.
He made a lot of things far worse, caused a lot of suffering, his actions weren't ones you can just sweep under the rug by saying "oh he's a good guy now and very sorry for what he did". Imo if all he gets is some very earned criticism and/or mockery (especially from the other LIs, most of them he actively hurt), he's still getting off pretty easy.
I like a redeemed villain as much as the next person, but the whole concept/trope really loses something when suddenly actions no longer have consequences. He shouldn't escape them all with a sudden change of heart, no one should.
Anyway he's an adult, he can definitely handle a few jokes at his expense.
There are cool lucio stans but there are also the combative and over-protective ones who bristle at every instance of lucio getting (even lovingly) clowned on
