I know people meme about Skephalo but actually looking at their friendship, that's what you should strive for in a friendship.... Velvet and I are romantic soulmates, but Bad and Skeppy are a good example of platonic soulmates.

Ant: Chat, if we're being real for a second, having a friendship like Bad and Skeppy have is something we should achieve for in life, like being able to find somebody who you're friends with like that. Like, I know everyone ships Bad and Skeppy as a couple this and that blah blah blah, not everybody, but people meme about it, this and that. But their friendship is so awesome, I remember seeing them way back in the day when they first started, I was around when they first started doing things and I've seen their friendship and everything that they've done that's sorta evolved over the literal years now. I know people meme about Skephalo but actually looking at their friendship, that's what you should strive for in a friendship, what you should aim for. They fit the definition of platonic soulmates. Velvet and I are romantic soulmates, but Bad and Skeppy are a good example of platonic soulmates.
The Red Banquet and important things I noticed
(All rp of course)
- It seems the egg is now invulnerable to explosions. Bad said they made the preparations but what does that mean? Did that mean they had to feed the egg more or did they alter the egg in some way to make it withstand explosions better? There’s also the question if the nukes would work.
- Foolish mentioned the egg suppressed him so I would assume the egg has a powerful force that can suppress other people’s powers.
- Quackity distracted the eggpire members by telling them to look at the egg, and gave Puffy an axe and a golden apple without them knowing. I didn’t notice this in Puffy’s stream at first and I definitely didn’t notice in Bad’s stream until I went back to look for it in Puffy’s.
- Props to Quackity for getting Purpled and Techno to help them, especially Techno, since they’re like enemies. Makes me wonder if there is potential of them teaming up again in the future (also had a thought that Purpled and Techno are the other hooded people from Quackity’s lore, but honestly it probably isn’t)
- Puffy killed Antfrost, who used to be a good friend of hers, to try to stop the eggpire. That must’ve not been easy for her. Also Quackity and Co. leaping to defend her from the other eggpire members.
- Apparently Niki disappeared after the offense against the eggpire. Could it be connected to the syndicate? Idk. I don’t really know what to make of that but perhaps someone will.
- Quackity repeatedly asks George if he was ok. It seems that even through everything, Quackity still cares for George.
Edit (omg I forgot one more thing):
- Ranboo could be seen sneaking on the vines above the crowd. He was wearing a hooded outfit and it’s possible that he was in his enderwalk state. We see him again near the end when everyone escaped the egg room, but he’s in his normal skin again. I wonder if he did anything or was he just watching?
Funny things I noticed from the Red Banquet
- George showing up late because he was sleeping and showed up in his usual clothes. He’s making his ancestors proud by actually showing up to lore this time
- Fundy’s, uh, mispronunciation of clock
- Sam dunking his dumpy into the punch and Bad saying “dumpy”
- Bad’s “yup, prepare to die” when the lava came down
- When Quackity said “I’m not talking to you, I’m talking to Bad” to Antfrost like damn
- Sam’s go to answer is to imprison the problem. He really is a warden at heart haha
Hi reminder that Bad said that the egg needs the energies of people dying near it to hatch. Now I don’t know how much it needs but they killed one dude and one totem god in front of that thing today.

Okay so now that Sam participated in L'Sandburg lore AND was in favor of Bad I think it's safe to assume that the entirety of the Badlands is canonically back together post Egg arc you can't tell me otherwise ♥
Knowing that L'Sandburg takes place chronologically after the egg arc is settled gives me so much hope. Puffy and Bad and Ant are friends again...they're chill enough with Foolish to come to his land and fuck around....Sam comes in to help his friend scam...they're just being chaotic dumbasses again and they r friends :D
u can truly tell the badlands love each other like siblings bc ant and bad had to hug puffy and apologize to get her to forgive them but all they needed to say to sam was “hey want to start an exploitative business on foolish’s land” and once he said yes, they all knew they were chill again
having bad be seen as the de facto leader of the badlands is an unintentionally genius move when it comes to improv rp.
so far, in the three circumstances we’ve seen the badlands negotiate (second pet war, el rapids, badlands’ recognition by king george) we mainly see bad take the spotlight when it comes to negotiation. and he does a pretty good job because cc!bad is equal parts stubborn and eloquent, which usually leads to him winning or a stalemate. and in all three times, dream, sapnap/punz, and quackity talked to him as if he were the leader, despite the badlands’ power being split equally between the three.
so if all the big players are keeping an eye on bad as the figurehead of the badlands, then no one takes into account antfrost and sam’s diehard loyalty to the faction. foolish allowed sam to be a third party consultant in l’sandburg negotiations, despite l’sandburg being technically badlands territory. hardly anyone has picked up on the fact that the prison and bank is ran by the badlands, giving them a huge amount of power on the SMP. ant’s role in the estate conflict was majorly tied to preserving badlands’ territory. everyone on the SMP has their eye on bad and his little toll gates, and no one notices how sam and ant are there, expanding badlands territory as well and backing bad up whenever they can.
