It was quiet for a long time. They we're enjoying themselves. Drinking cheep beer and playing cards.

It was a small temporary bubble from the war. They we're all alive celebrating and laughing because they we're together.

It was nice and peaceful. Until Bly opened his mouth. He knew what he was going to say before the words even came out, but that didn't stop them from spilling out and ruining his wonderful evening.

"I heard your dating General Skywalker."

He groaned and looked at Cody. His brother was smirking and he glared. That traitor must have told Bly. Who was a big blabbermouth and didn't know how to shut up.

Cody laughed and said.

"That's right I remember finding you in a supply closet with the General."

His brothers all looked eager to hear this story. They leaned in with grins that stretched their faces. Each one of them looking for black mail or gossip.

Ponds side eyed him and made his face blank. He didn't want his brothers to know his reaction. They would swarm him and devour his dignity.

Wolffe with his sharp teeth, was the first to dig in. He asked Cody what happened and his brother grinned in excitement.

"I found Rex fucking his General."

He heard a few fake gasps and he tried not to roll his eyes.

Fox smirked and put his cards down. He realized that in his distraction he had allowed Fox to win.

He groaned and his brothers basked in his misery. It's like they feed off of his pain and misery.

He wanted to leave, but he knew they wouldn't stop talking about it. They would start making wild claims that would end in the clone rumor mill. He didn't not need to deal with that.

"Can we please go back to playing cards."

"NO!"

He sighed and put his head on his desk. None of his brothers we're sympathetic to his struggle. Instead they seemed to live for it.

He ignored them until Cody said something he couldn't ignore.

"General Skywalker was moaning like one of those, holo porn stars."

He stood up angrily and swayed a little. Before pointing at Cody and saying.

"Shut up."

His brothers all silently watched him and he crossed his arms.

" 'm telling General Kenobi."

The reaction was instantaneous. Cody jumped up and looked pale.

"please don't."

He already started walking out the door. He couldn't stop Cody, as much as he hated it. His brother would probably continue just to get on his nerves. Luckily his brother decided to date General Kenobi.

If he told the General, what Cody said about his brother. General Kenobi would be really mad. One time they we're on some random planet and this guy made a comment about his boyfriends butt.

Obi-Wan had practically tackled the man. He was so angry and Anakin had to pull him off the guy. They had always been like that. If something said something to General Kenobi, Anakin would be their in an instant.

It was both impressive and scary, but right now he would use it to his advantage.

He left the room with Cody chasing after him. He quickly ran down the halls, until he reached General Kenobi's room.

He knocked on the door, but got no answer. Cody ran over and grabbed him.

"Don't you dare tell him!"

They started fighting and he managed to get away. He quickly started running away, while thinking of where to go.

He got into a speeder and drove away. He looked behind him and saw Cody. He was standing on the platform and looking at him.

He started driving along until he reached Dex's diner. He knew his boyfriend, Obi-Wan and Ahsoka had all gone to Dex's.

He asked Dex and found out he just missed them. He groaned and walked out of the diner.

Suddenly he got a call from Cody. He thought about hanging up, but he decided against it.

"Yes Cody I am going to tell-"

"Obi-Wan is dead."

He froze in shock and felt his lips form the words.

"What?"

"He was shot by a sniper named Rako Hardeen."

His brother sounded like he was crying. He nodded even though Cody couldn't see him.

"Where should I go?"

"Come back to the jedi temple. Anakin needs you."

He nodded and got in his speeder. He didn't even realize his hands we're shaking. While he drove he thought about how everything had changed so quickly. One moment he was laughing with his brothers the next moment. General Kenobi was dead.

They stare into each other's eyes before leaning over and kissing.

I fell in love with those two lines, I couldn't help it.

ok, so I never make posts like this, but I feel like I should let y'all know.

on august 6th, there will be a Tumblr blackout.

so as most of you know, Tumblr has tried making post plus a thing, and unfortunately, after all the surveys and posts we made against it, their making it a thing anyway.

so, another Tumblr user whom I forgot the name of, decided to make a point to Tumblr that we do not want, never wanted, nor needed, post+. and to make this point, we are gonna hit Tumblr where it hurts.

Rex enjoyed these small pockets of peace during the war. He was able to relax and enjoy his day without thinking about the war or everyone he lost.

They were on Coruscant and he was reading a book Commander Tano suggested. It was really good and he enjoyed reading it.

He finished the page and was about to start another. When he heard a knock on the door. He got up and opened it while expecting to see his brothers.

Instead he was surprised to see his General.

"Can I come in and hang out with you."

He smiled and let his General inside. This happened whenever they got a break and his General needed to relax.

He picked up his book and started reading out loud while his General cuddled against his side.

It didn't take long before they were fast asleep and curled around each other.

Fives went to ask the captain if he would join them at 79's. However he was surprised and delighted to see General Skywalker and Rex cuddled together.

He took a few pictures for black mail and ran off before they woke up.

Today is my Birthday!!!!!! August 31st.

Anakin had been hit during the battle, but he ignored it because it obviously wasn't that important. He could kinda sorta stand which counted for something.

At the end of the battle Rex asked if they could eat together. He had obviously agreed and promised himself he would look at his wounds afterwards.

He wasn't going to see Kix because he didn't want to take a bed when his men needed it more. Besides it was just a scratch.

He ignored his shaking legs and finished his paperwork before joining Rex at the mess hall.

When he saw Rex. He grabbed his food and sat next to the captain. He felt Rex look him over while he ate.

"Anakin?"

He internally sighed because he hoped Rex didn't realize he was injured.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine don't worry about me."

Rex continued watching him before saying.

“Last time you said you were okay you passed out in the middle of dinner, so my worry is perfectly valid.”

He blushed and tried to continue eating except he couldn't. His hand was shaking and his vision was blurry.

"Anakin?"

He kept staring at his meal.

"Anakin?"

His head felt light headed and he grabbed the edge.

"Anakin!"

He jumped and tried to hold back a groan.

"What?"

Rex looked really concerned.

"I called you multiple times."

Suddenly he felt his stomach lurch and he turned the other way before throwing up. He felt a spike of alarm when Rex saw blood.

"Anakin we need to take you to the medbay."

He tried to shake his head no, but everything went dark.

The last thing he heard was Rex shout.

"Anakin!"

After spending all day training the new shinies. He walked back to Anakin's room at the Jedi temple. No one paid attention to him, but he didn't mind.

He couldn't wait to see Anakin after the long day he's had.

When he reached Anakin's room. He found the jedi snuggled under blankets and sleeping. He walked over and leaned down to kiss Anakin's forehead.

That's when he realized how hot Anakin was. He peeled the blankets off Anakin and felt him shiver. However he was sweating and looked pale and clammy.

He quickly searched for a thermometer and checked Anakin's temperature. He had a fever and needed to cool down.

He decided to get an ice bath ready and gently woke Anakin up.

"Anakin."

"Hm, Rex?"

"You have a fever."

Anakin groaned and he pet his hair.

"You need to cool down."

He lifted Anakin up and felt the jedi press his face against his chest.

He gave him an amused look while Anakin whispered.

"You smell good."

He laughed and lead Anakin into the fresher. He took off everything except his boxers and helped him into the tub.

Anakin shivered and clung to him while saying.

"C--cold."

"I know Cyare, but we need your temperature to go down."

Anakin's eyes fluttered and he looked miserable. He clung to him like a wet tooka and eventually he helped him out.

Anakin got his shirt wet while he was trying to dry him off.

He took it off and Anakin blushed a bright red. He was worried for a moment before he realized it wasn't just his fever.

He helped Anakin get onto his bed and he was pulled down to snuggle. Anakin gave him his cutest puppy dog eyes and he caved.

He cuddled against Anakin and they fell asleep together.

He promised himself that the next time he woke up, he would make Anakin some soup.

After a long day of fighting, clean up and meetings. They had finally been allowed to take a shower before snuggling together.

Anakin was wrapped in Rex's arms and tracing the scar on Rex's chest. It was a mark that was a reminder of war, but also survival.

He kissed the scar and Rex pulled him closer.

"I'm okay Cyare."

"I know."

He continued tracing the scar while remembering where Rex got it from. He wasn't there when it happened, but his men told him afterwards. Rex had been shot by a commando droid.

When he found out Rex hd been shot. He had rushed to go see him. Rex had said he was fine, but he made sure to look him over anyway.

That night they had laid together in a similar position. That was also the night they started talking about their future.

They realized that either of them could die at any moment. So they should make the most out of it. Starting with getting married.

With the help of their men. They got married a few days later and planned on whatever life they got to live, as long as they were together.

He gasped awake while feeling his body shake. He was having a recurring dream where he killed his jedi. It was getting worse the further into the war they got.

He closed his eyes and saw Anakin laying on the ground with unseeing eyes and a puddle of blood surrounding him.

He felt a shiver rack his frame and he looked over. Anakin was still peacefully sleeping next to him.

He reached out and gently pressed a hand against his heart. It was still beating and he sighed in relief.

Anakin still wasn't awake, so he gently pressed his Generals face into his chest and snuggled him.

Random prompt

Something had gone wrong during the mission. They weren't told General Grievous had arrived with a droid battalion. Instead they found that out the hard way and were trying to get passed the droids defenses.

"This isn't working."

He kept deflecting blaster bolts away from his men while trying to come up with a plan. They were being overrun and he was loosing a lot of men.

He deflected another blast before backing up and ducking behind a huge bolder. Rex was already hiding behind it and looked over at him.

"I have a plan."

He gave his captain a curious look and Rex continued talking.

"We need a distraction that will draw the heavy cannons. That way we can get air support and take out the Separatist's base."

"Alright I'll distract the heavy cannons."

He ran out of cover while deflecting blaster bolts and started running away from his men. He used a grenade to cause a distraction before dodging a blast from the heavy cannons.

He dodged a few more shots and blew up one of the heavy cannons. It left an opening and he ran forward while slicing droids and dodging blaster fire.

He destroyed another heavy cannon with the force before climbing on top of one and taking it over. He fired at the cannon that turned to point at him and watched it go up in smoke.

He smirked and finished off the last two cannons before taking down more droids.

He managed to make his way back to Rex and they were now back to back fighting. They were surrounded by droids who suddenly appeared out of nowhere. He used the force to warn him about any oncoming blaster bolts and slightly turned towards his captain.

"If we get out of here I'm sucking your dick."

Through the force he could feel his Captain's embarrassment and arousal. When the man turned to look at him he smirked and watched his Captain's eyes narrow in challenge.

"I'll hold you to that."

They kept fighting and eventually air support flew through and started bombing the droids factory. They cheered and watched the ships fly past. Before he pointed at the Separatist's base.

"The battle isn't over yet. We need to take that base."

His men rallied behind him and they quickly destroyed the base and took out any remaining droids. Grievous had escaped when he realized the battle had shifted.

It wasn't a surprise, but it was still a little disappointing.

After the battle was over they cleaned up the mess and gave the jedi council a report on what happened. When he finally signed off he breathed a sigh of relief.

Rex gave him a smoldering look and said.

"I think it's time you did what you promised."

He laughed because he was joking before. He turned away from Rex and was about to leave. When he was suddenly grabbed and pulled against his captain.

"Rex?"

His captain looked him over before he practically growled.

"My room now."

He shivered and followed Rex back to his room.

They were planning their next mission when Rex accidentally said.

"Good idea cyare."

He looked up when he noticed the room was silent. His brothers were staring at him in shock. He shifted a little and asked.

"What's wrong?"

Fives was looking back and forth while his mouth closed like a fish.

"Are you two together?"

He looked over at Anakin who was looking away and blushing.

"Anakin?"

He didn't say anything instead he looked even more embarrassed.

He looked around while trying to figure out what was going on. His men looked excited and some of them were passing around money as though they made a bet.

He turned towards Fives who was wearing a shit eating grin. His eyes sparkled with mischief and he looked as though they just won the war.

"What did I say?"

Echo looked between them with a small frown.

"You called the General Cyare."

"No I didn't."

Jesse shouted from across the room.

"YES YOU DID!"

"No I didn't."

He crossed his arms while feeling annoyed.

Jesse ran over and shoved a screen in front of his face. He tried to push it away, but Jesse just shoved it back.

"Will you st--."

"Will you just look at the screen already."

He looked down to see whatever Jesse had to show him only to be surprised.

He watched as they went over the next mission and Anakin came up with a good idea. That wasn't surprising because Anakin had a lot of good ideas. However he was surprised by what came after.

He watched as he said.

"Good idea cyare."

As though it was the easiest thing in the galaxy. The way he said it you would have assumed they were together.

He looked up at Fives, Echo and Jesse in shock before turning to Anakin.

"Anakin, do you know what cyare means?"

His jedi looked over at him before nodding.

He suddenly felt nervous and he shifted while trying to figure out what to say next.

"I'm sorry if that made you uncomfortable."

Anakin frowned while shaking his head.

"You didn't make me uncomfortable. I was just surprised."

Anakin glanced at him before looking away. He looked just as nervous as he felt.

"Rex I like you a lot."

His General blushed and for a moment it was silent. Everyone was watching them and waiting for what he would say.

"I like you too."

Anakin smiled and he walked closer. When they were right in front of each other he lightly put his hands on Anakin's waist.

"Is this okay?"

He whispered between them.

"Yes."

He leaned closer until their lips were almost touching.

"Can I kiss you."

"Yes."

Their lips pressed together and he closed his eyes. It was better than he imagined.

He could hear his brothers cheering begin him, but he didn't care. All he cared about was kissing Anakin and figuring everything else along the way.

He awoke to Rex next to him and smiled. His husband gave him an adoring smile before kissing him. He smiled into the kiss and brought Rex closer.

His husband pulled back a little and rubbed his hip.

"Good morning."

He blushed and Rex leaned down to kiss his neck. He moved his head out of the way and sighed. He loved waking up with Rex. It was moments like these where he could forget the war.

Finding a cat

Anakin was walking home and shivering. He forgot his jacket at home after deciding to go on a quick walk to clear his head.

He was having nightmares again and they were getting worse. He knew his boyfriend Rex was worried, but he didn't want to talk about it.

He didn't know how to explain what he was seeing. It couldn't possibly be real and yet it felt like a memory from another life.

A life where he fought in a war and had a blue blade of light.

He continued walking until he heard a loud meow. He looked around thinking maybe he imagined it except he heard it again.

He felt the rain soak his clothes, but at thT moment he didn't care. Instead he started looking for the cat.

He walked down an alley while listening quietly. He heard the meow again and this time it sounded distressed. His heart twisted and he looked around. He could hear the cat meowing and he looked behind the dumpster.

The car was soaking wet and looked miserable. The little kitten was clearly a stray and he didn't look very happy.

He could see the cat shivering and he gently reached out. The cat tried to swipe his claws, but he dodged. The cat gave him a surprised look before sniffing his hand.

He brushed a hand along the cat and felt it's back curve. He kept petting until slowly the cat starting calming down. It purred and tried to climb into his lap.

He laughed and scooped the kitten up. He was glared at, but once he started moving. The cat looked around curious.

He brought the little kitten home and saw Rex staring at it. He raised an eyebrow at him and he gave his best puppy dog eyes. While holding the wet kitten up.

It seemed to realize what he was doing because it made it's look pathetic and helpless in his arms.

Rex sighed in defeat and he cheered before kissing him and going to warm them both up. He could hear Rex in the kitchen and knew his boyfriend was planning on making hot cocoa.

He smiled and looked down at the cat. He was going to have a safe and warm home here.
