A good fraction of our time is spent in your bed lying down holding and whispering sweet nothings to each other. Last night I had another dream about you, and I’m sure I’ll have another tomorrow. We read each other's minds. A day doesn't go by without us being synchronized. You told me I’m the first and last thing you think about in bed; the place where we lie to rest and wake to rise. The outside world knows nothing about us, about how deep our love goes, how intertwined we are. Not because we’re hiding anything, but because our relationship is something sacred that mustn’t be meddled with by those outside of us. You lived down the street from me before we met. We played at the same park, went to the same library, and walked around the same block nearly every day; how ironic is it that we didn’t meet until I moved from that neighborhood. We immediately treated each other as if we were lovers when we were just friends and loved each other unconditionally, so when you told me you were in love with me and wanted to be my wife I was elated. You've always felt like a blessing to me. I remember the sigh of relief we both had after keeping our feelings hidden from each other for so long. I wish to spend the rest of my life with you. You tell me you see us growing old together; eventually living in the same old folk’s home. Not a minute passes by where you’re not on my mind; for you have made an imprint on my psyche.
