Okay so first off, this new episode was SO GOOD! Everything from Luz’s palisman, Willow’s breakdown, and seeing King and Eda again was amazing! But I’d like to propose a theory.

When Luz’s palisman hatched, she said all she wanted was to be understood(also, that whole scene gave me total chills). I think this revelation will help her connect with the Collector, and eventually save the day.

When King started to read The Collector the bedtime story, it showed a passage where the Collector changed the rules. From what I remember, if any Collectors were threatened they would then fight back and obliterate their enemies (or something like that). But apparently OUR Collector changed the rules to make friends instead. I think that maybe among his own people, the Collector was considered “weird” for wanting to make friends, which would make it easy for Luz to connect with him. I believe they both have the underlying desire to be understood, and them connecting is what will save the day in the end.

Please let me know if anyone else has more cool theories!

I, like the Duffer brothers, also forgot Will’s birthday until I saw it trending on Tumblr.

Danny phantom and dc crossovers are practically a whole new fandom at this point. There’s literally a dozen new fics or updates every day JUST for dp x dc crossovers (specifically Batman). Out of the total number of dp fics on ao3 (which is 13351), there are currently 1175 Batman crossovers. That’s almost 10% of the whole phandom. And I don’t know about you, but I tend to exclusively read dp x dc crossovers instead of normal dp fics.

We’ve also developed MULTIPLE ships not only involving main characters, but side characters as well (I’m specifically taking about the popular Jazz x Jason ship as well as that one Tucker x Damian soulmates!AU I read). There’s also a gazillion different headcanons that are constantly changing and evolving.

I love how the phandom literally never died, just like our favorite half dead half alive ghost boy, and continues to evolve.
