BVB VII: The Death Of Black Veil Brides

I bet I scared you with that one well c'mon let's go you know how it goes around here I'll explain it all in time.

I think bvb 7 is very much going to be a "death", but not in the way of say like Vale where the band is actually feeling like it's ending. Actually, it's the opposite, the band is thriving more than ever right now which means they can finally tackle this topic.

The band, particularly Andy, has been very nostalgic (Andy posting old Sixx photos, the return of the wild ones vests + war paint) lately, almost suspiciously so. I think this ties in to bvb 7 and nostalgia, or more so the death of nostalgia.

We kinda touched on this topic in Bleeders, but there's this budding resentment towards the past and how the band kinda let people walk all over them and shit on them. Bleeders was an angry response to this, in a way saying aren't you lucky you have this life so why are you complaining about it. And we know Bleeders is going to be on bvb 7 but the entire album isn't going to be sweeney themed so it would only make sense for the album to follow a different theme.

What I'm saying is that bvb 7 is going to be the villain album. This is going to be an album of anger and of resentment and of revenge. This is going to be bvb spitting at every single person who ever doubted them over their career. You want villains? They'll give you villains.

I'd even go so far as to say this sentiment started with the mourning. Yes the mourning was technically part of the tpt era but HEAR ME OUT it was the start of the death of the old bvb. It was called THE MOURNING for god's sake and yet (vaguely quoted from the mourning t-shirts from what I can remember) it REVITALIZED them as a band and as friends. It was a funeral but it was a CELEBRATION.

TL;DR I think they're gonna dig up old bvb's grave and kill them one more time for good measure

I hadn’t realised until I watched Sweeney Todd just how much heavier the BVB version of My Friends is?? Like, at first it seems very much just Andy covering it but then the drums and guitar kick in and the way he screams “at last, my right arm is complete again” and the almost breakdown after?? *chefs kiss*
