February is here, and that can only mean one thing: it’s BlackExcellence365, back for our fifth year right here on Tumblr. This is a celebration of all things Black culture and history, and it’s not just for February—this is a community celebration every day of every week of the year. This year we will be highlighting Black artists. So join us each month, as we will be exploring Black creativity with a series of themes such as history, power and activism, and PRIDE.

This was my second time working Halloween since I’ve moved to Florida and what a ride it was. Great cast, great crew, great team!!! I would not trade it ever again for anything else. I’ve been pushing my limits and growing more as a performer. I made some amazing friends who I will forever cherish and came back to others who have done great things with me in the past. I hope that future casts feel like this one did. I’ve gotten lucky in the last year with great casts. My wicked growth cast from last Halloween, my Sesame Street Live casts this year and now monster stomp. I’m an happy and proud of myself. The majority of this year has been one of the most amazing years I’ve had so far. #monsterstomp has been one of the most amazing times of my life and I have one more month to go on this amazing show! I am@beyond grateful to be doing what I do. Not only with covid did I experience my entire world come to a dead hault, but I also experienced it again this summer. Everything was going so well until after my birthday and I was in a really dark and depressing state. To climb out of this into a show about Jack the Ripper and find my joy again is not something I would’ve imagined. I don’t think I have ever appreciated my craft(s) and line of work as much as I do now. I plan to finish the year strong and to finish the run of this show strong as well.
